6th Campaign [Video]
[There was a lot for Satsuki to think about, but over the last couple of weeks she's come to some decisions, many of them she was very unhappy about. It'd taken some time to get Wily to agree to her ideas, though suddenly he started to get distracted by other things.
The former council president could only sigh and shake her head but at least this meant she'd be able to speak her mind and start putting her plan in motion in another, slower manner.
And so the feed opens with a shot from the shoulders up. Her expression, as always, is extremely serious with a hint of intensity in her eyes. But her voice is almost unusually relaxed- almost as if forcing herself to come off as less of a drill instructor.]
Denizens of Genessia, it has been a long couple of weeks for all of you as well as myself; I know there has been much unrest, but I have had much information to data to review. I will tell you now that this will be a very lengthy address.
To the newcomers that may not know me, I am Satsuki Kiryuin, eighteen years old, Deputy Guardian of Nova City, which is under Doctor Albert Wily's protection. Much like the rest of us, you have many questions regarding your arrival to Genessia. I am currently working on a program to get you up to speed on the situation.
The subject at hand, however, is the ongoing development of Wily Academy.
[She takes in a calm breath.]
Many of you had something to say and I appreciate all of your feedback. But of the issues brought to my attention, it would appear that the mandatory attendance was the largest. So, as of now, that demand has been revoked.
Some have asked how I intend to make this school function with so many of you being in various degrees of education. Others ask what the point of this school even is. Wily Academy's goal is to cultivate 'Productivity, Unification, and Proactivity'. It is through these that we will be able to not only perceive the answers that are hidden from us, but to function efficiently as a community.
The basics of education will be taught through not just teachers, but extremely advanced artificial intelligence. Physical activities and education can be advanced using hard light technology, and so we will be using that as well.
However what is most important is the exchange and understanding of one another culture. Obviously we are limited in what can actually be taught, so much of our time, at least at first, will be dedicated to round table discussions.
Another concern brought to me is balance; for the time being this school will have classes on Monday and Friday. Should things go well, then Wednesdays will also be included. A school day will likely consist of five hours, but this is not yet set in stone.
I would like Wily Academy to be not a mere structure built upon the results of my efforts, but a fruitful success due to everyone coming together. Some of you have already agreed to become teachers, but more are needed as are your thoughts. Obviously potential students are encouraged to come forth as well, and provide input on how you think the current plan could be improved upon.
Starting now.

Video
And why would you think that? Do I appear to be someone incapable of changing their mind?
Video
Video
Video
Video
.. I suppose I should be grateful. I was expecting you to say something along the lines of 'someone who says something and does not go through with it'.
Video
I respect what you are trying to accomplish with the school, but that rule was one of the only things I hated about what you were trying to get going.
By the way, is Wily going to be teaching a class?
Video
[But then back to her stone face.]
Ah. Well the drop of the rule will not be the only thing you will like, I can tell you that much.
I find it highly unlikely that Wily will be teaching. Of course, I would like him too- he has much to offer and would do wonders for his reputation.
Video
Oh? Now I'm really curious. What more do you think I will like? Or is that something I will have to wait for to find out?
Try to talk him into it. He's always talking about how brilliant he is. He should get his butt out there and educate us pesky kids.
Video
[That said, his wording is somewhat amusing. Sun certainly hit the nail on the head there.]
I will be sure to pass that along. In a more eloquent manner of course.
I never did get your name.
Video
Make it eloquent and convincing. Really make Gramps seed how beneficial it is.
Sun Wukong.
Video
Well then, she'll have to work a little harder. Of course despite her lighter mood her expression doesn't appear to reflect it- she simply nods.]
Very well.
And might I ask what your interests are, Sun Wukong? Besides upsetting vendors, of course.
video;
Have you considered making it more of a class-selection model of schooling? Instead of having specific set days, offer individual classes by topic and allow students to choose which ones would benefit them most? You could even set out specific career path suggestions, then cancel classes that have little interest after a set trial period in order to save resources for something more effective.
[ Weiss always has all kinds of suggestions for how things should be run, honestly. ]
video;
That said, she's actually pleased to see said girl speak.]
That sounds efficient.. Extremely efficient. What I had in mind when selecting specific days is the labor upon a student council or any extracurricular leaders.
I am uncertian how they would balance their daily routine if they were forced to attend more than three days a week, take classes, as well as take up part-time work. But if I could manage to assign everything within those days..
video;
In that case, perhaps it would be best to have one of the days not have classes for a specific hour or two during which a student senate of sorts could be held for the council and designated representatives from extracurricular groups to take care of any campus-related business. If no classes are offered during that time, there shouldn't be a conflicting schedule regardless of what subjects they want to take!
video;
That sounds like something that could work.
Then I suppose I will need to gather data to get a general idea of what interests are unique and what are more common. Perhaps through a survey.
video;
[ Weiss is.. really into organizing and planning things, okay.. ]
video;
Still.. It doesn't seem to be without it's risks, and that is a bit annoying. But even with that aside, she can't help but be surprised by the offer.]
A demographic map.. Do I have your word on that?
video;
[ Honestly, Weiss really wants a school to go to and if she can help in making a place with a good atmosphere and curriculum? She certainly will. ]
video;
I believe our definitions of the 'right way' differ greatly. However that may not be a bad thing, finding middle ground might very well be the best route to take.
[Satsuki nods, as if agreeing with herself. Of course she agrees with herself.]
Your aide would be much appreciated.
[She'll consider it a trial. If things go particularly well, she'll ask Weiss to join the development team.]
video;
[ Weiss has learned pretty well that she's not always right, even if she doesn't like admitting it. But she's pretty sure she is in this case. ]
I'll work it up as soon as possible, then, Ms. Kiryuin.
video;
She may not look it, but she's pretty pleased.]
Very well. I will keep in touch, Ms Schnee.
(OOC: Would you mind if I add you to plurk? Or we can just coordinate over PM I don't mind either way. :O)

no subject
[Not that he trusts Satsuki or Wily in the slightest. He just wants to be on the inside and try to figure out what they're really up to.]
[Private]/[Video]
That would be interesting.
[She remembers what Weiss said about him being the only one capable of training in their type of fighting, so it isn't easy to simply brush him off.]
It would be unwise to turn you down. But at the same time, I am certain you realize a particularly critical eye would be kept on you.
I am not entirely unconvinced you will not find a way to turn this on Doctor Albert Wily's head.
