Back in... blue. [ACTION | CLOSED]
Who: Spock and Kirk
When: Monday December 18
Where: Star Trekless Home
What: Spock returns home after dancing with death
[Spock would say it was good to be back, but that would be illogical, especially since he's now lost the ability to play his lyre. Not that he was one here, but he had been considering the notion of purchasing one. A wasted thought now.
He's still not sure what had gone wrong, though the test had always had a small chance of ending in his actual death since he hadn't been able to test it properly. He'd have to run through his data again, but that's a task for tomorrow; contrary to popular belief, he actually does rest sometimes when he needs to, and coming back from the dead? That's a time to meditate if ever there were one.
Weiss had told him that she had contacted Kirk, so he's not concerned that Kirk will be worried about his sudden disappearance. In fact, his only concerns when he walks though the door of their house are his plan to check himself over while he meditates to make sure he's all good and the data they had collected as a result - the price had decidedly been worth it, in his opinion.]

[The moment he hears the steps coming up the walk, his eyes flick to the door. It's about damn time. He tosses the newspaper aside, coming up to his feet, unsmiling.]
Spock.
[He looks him over, brow dipping for a moment. The bastard looks fine, and that's a relief. Then again, he's a Vulcan -- he looked "fine" when his whole planet blew up too, even though he wasn't.]
[He's taken two steps forward before he stops himself.]
...You good?
[What the hell happened?]

The concern? That he hadn't predicted.
He closes the door behind him, not advancing any further, finding that he prefers the space right now, and gives a slight nod.]
I am adequate. The long terms effects of death here appear to be minimal. I have been informed that I am in perfect health.
