It's a city, so the number of people is usually higher than say a town.

I can imagine why. For what it's worth, I sympathize deeply - I too was born with abilities that make me dangerous to be around others.

I see. It's a nice name; better than having your family name be an ancient execution device, at least. If you'd like, please stop by Cloak and Dagger in Everglade; I can give you a few universal antidote potions that should at least help if you ever poison someone accidentally. And sometime later, I may be able to help stop that from happening to start with - I know someone who's really good with alchemy and artifice.

[That's never even been a possibility before. To call it a glimmer of hope is something of an understatement.

And as for Vlad. Soma might find Cinnabar a little more difficult to manipulate than he might expect.]

I am. I've seen this stuff cure poisoning from things that have no natural antidote. It's potent enough; the only question is whether your particular poison is stronger than it can overcome. I can offer myself as a test subject; my personal resistance to poison is very high, and I can use other means to make myself all but impervious to it.
