About as safe as warm as one can be in a grocery store.

[Upside at least there is food, but he gets the feeling that might come out of his paycheck, so that also sucked.]

[A grocery store probably wasn't a bad place to hang out, actually.]

They're usually pretty warm once you go past the cold sections. I think I've heard that the back rooms usually have heaters in them since they have the doors open a lot to receive shipments, but I might have misheard. But I'd stay away from the glass windows just in case something hits one and it breaks.

We only really open them on delivery days, thankfully today had not been one of them. But sadly because it was pushed back we are low on a few things.

[He nodded slightly, looking off toward the side if only for a moment.]

Already doing that at least, though the people I am trapped with seem to think I need to do everything to make sure things are okay. [He was only meant to be the cashier and he felt like he was doing more than he should be, at least during this blizzard.]

Oh, um... [She looks out the window. The snow had only just started so the storm shouldn't pick up too much for the next hour or two.] If you need some stuff I could run it over to you. It's really not bad out at all right now, so just tell me what you need and I'll make sure to bring it.

It would take a while to be able to know what exactly is needed, but I'll let you know as soon as I actually know.

[Because he would have to go around and ask people and that might take a good ten minutes or so.]

What's Heals on Wheenls?

We're a non-profit group that offers free healing services to anyone in need no matter where they are. We're not doctors though and there are limitations to what we can do so if it's something really serious you might need to go to a hospital.

[It was really a case-by-case thing right now. After the blizzard blows over she's probably going look into getting more members to join so that they can help more people.]

So you help people who are in need, except if it's serious.

[She seemed interested at least.]

That sounds wonderful.

Yup! [She bobs her head as she says the word.] It's possible that we might be able to help - Orihime is really talented - but if it's a really bad injury then an ambulance would probably get there before us and if it's something that we can't fix then that extra time is really important.

But it's really great helping people that need it! I'm still only a beginner but I'm always so grateful when I can help someone that's hurt, even if it's just a minor thing.

So healing people and making them feel better always makes a person happy, both the one that was healed and the person doing it.

[That was what she gathered from it anyway as she started to fidget with her hair.]

Yeah! At least, I think so. I don't think you'd become a healer if you didn't like it, but I can't see why anyone wouldn't want to help someone of they could.

[Well, unless they're a baddie. The Desians definitely didn't give two shits if one of the prisoners got hurt.]

I honestly don't know myself, thinking about it, but you also have those people who might be born with that healing ability.

[Such as her really.]

I wonder what happens to those people do they use there abilities or ignore them.

[She puts a finger to her cheek and tilts her head up, thinking.]

I think they use them? If you were born with a gift you shouldn't just ignore it, especially if it could save someone's life.

True, but what about those people who might end up on the wrong side. Like in stories? They might not want to help people then.

[Colette takes a moment to answer, thinking back to her personal experience.]

It's true that there are some bad people out there, but that doesn't mean that they can't change. I've seen people change to the side of good when no one thought that they would. There might be some people who refuse, but I believe that we are all capable of being a good person. We just need to have the right reason to and, in some cases, the knowledge that what we're doing is wrong. If you grow up thinking that doing something bad is the only way to do something, you don't think that it's bad. Only once you see the other side can you make that choice, and I think that most people will choose the right side.

That's a very nice way of things thing. I would have never thought about it that way before.

There are so many bad things in life that we can't prevent that I choose to hope that when we can we will. I truly believe there is goodness in everyone.

I like to believe that too. I mean I haven't met many or any people who seemed to be mean or cruel after all. So maybe there is some truth to it.

[She makes a note to bring the paperwork with her that officially signs her on. It's easy enough to straighten out, at least, especially since it's a not for profit gig anyway.]

Oh, are you sure? I'm sure we could find a place to eat in either of those. Actually, there's a place by the Amagi Inn in Genessia City that I've been wanting to try, so if that's easier we could do that instead. It's on the corner of Spruce and 43rd.
