[ The smart phone given to Lunafreya tumbles onto the ground and starts broadcasting without her knowledge. The winds howl with the blizzard around her, snowflakes landing on the blonde hair that is down and around her shoulders. Those with keen eyes will pick up the bruises, cuts and perhaps even the shot of a stain on what should be a beautiful white gown. Her arms have crossed over her body to hold herself, attempting to see through the blasting wind and snow. Still within her hands are the other gifts given to her upon her awakening.

In the middle of a blizzard.

Her eyes eventually fall to the ground where she notices the phone. After shuffling some of the items in her hands, Lunafreya gracefully leans down to pick it up. If it is on then surely someone must be on the other side -- ]

--My name is Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. If anyone might hear this message, please, tell me where I might find shelter. [ Her voice breaks from the shivers that wrack her body and the cold that has started to set in.

Perhaps a coat is in order as well. ]

[Steve is keeping a close eye on the communications throughout the storm. He knows that he can't save everyone so he focuses his attention around the bay for those who might be caught unaware by both their new situation and the blizzard. After hearing Lunafreya's message he turns towards the bay entrance and replies in a quick serious tone.]

Stay where you are. I'm coming to you.

[With his message sent, the good soldier sets off. The snow crunches beneath his boots while a blanket of white covers the city. Steve has nothing against snow but this storm is dangerous and he doesn't want to leave anyone out in the cold.

His arrive is prefaced by a call into the cave.]

Miss Fleuret? Are you here?

[As he steps into view, Lunafreya sees a man dressed in red, white and blue. He has a bundle tucked beneath one of his arms and a worried expression etched into his features.]

[ Lunafreya looks around again, nodding to the message briefly before muttering a thank you. After a few shivers, the Oracle returns to the cave. Her attention turns to the smart phone as she sits on the rock and waits. Eventually the phone rests in her lap as she hugs herself. ]

Y-yes... I am here.

[ A smile forms on her lips at the man in striking colors. Lunafreya bows to him in thanks. The best that she can bow anyways. ]

Thank you for a-answering my call, s-sir.

[Steve instantly uncurls the blankets he has under his arms and wraps them around her shoulders. It's a total of three thick wool blankets, meant to shelter those who were unfortunate enough to arrive during the blizzard.]

Here. You need to stay warm.

It's fine. I was worried someone might arrive now.

[She's safe now though they still need to get through the storm.]

with a blissfully unaware look about him, he reached to replace the thermos on the counter top, feeling it slip from his fingers as he heard the muffled... )

( his eyes are wide, and the world seems to move in slow motion as his cup slams into the ground... but he's already half way to the phone, reaching with a wild look about him as he nearly shouts into it in reply— )

[ she has moved to the cave again by the time his voice reaches her. another has offered to give her aid, and she awaits his arrival. yet all of that seems to be irrelevant the moment she hears his voice come from the phone now nestled in her lap.

it is rare to see the Oracel of Eos look anything but determined. yet, in that moment, her eyes are wide as she brings the phone closer to her face. the picture shakes as she shivers, but even the cold seems momentarily forgotten.

there are so many things that cross her mind in that moment. why is he here? what has happened to their Star? has he been here long, with none from home to be at his side? was this a trick or have the gods silently granted a selfish wish from deep down inside her heart? ]

...Noctis? [ her voice is soft, small, unsure. things that Luna truly isn't. however, she is lost and confused in a brand new world. ]

( he has to say it again, has to make sure it's real as grips his phone tightly in one hand. the other reaches to touch the screen, as though to reach out to her, just as he had so many times in his dreams since that day. when his fingers tap the edge of the screen, they trace the line of her face...

she's real, isn't she? this isn't just another nightmare...? but that stain— the drying blood...

and then, his brow quickly furrows downwards, forgetting everything else except getting to her. ) Where are you? You're near the Bay, right?

I— I'm coming to get you! ( and he means right now apparently, because he's already back on his feet, and the phone roughly handled as he moves. he doesn't even seem to care that he doesn't know her exact position, because— ) I'll find you. Just stay safe until I get there. I—

( he's not going to lose you again... )

[An odd blue and purple light seems to play off his skin - as he held a dark fire spell in his free hand just out of sight of the phone's camera. He wanted to help, but without a good picture in his mind of the destination, that would be tricky to say the least.]

I'm new myself, or I'd give directions. Though your phone should be able to help with that.

[Well well, if it isn't yet another familiar face. It's almost as though all of his least favorite people from home are all gathering at once. How very touching. Though judging by the responses thus far, he need not bother asking aught of her status. Instead, he looks over at her bruises, noting the stain on her dress. Good. He need not ask that particular question, either. So instead, he simply sits... and waits. Waits for the foolhardy hero types to save the damsel in distress that this Star was so kind to dump on its doorstep. And, when she thinks she's safe and secure in a warm facility...]

I must say, this is quite the surprise, Lady Lunafreya. I hadn't expected to see you quite so soon.

[Or at all, really. Should he succeed.]

That voice.

It stops Lunafreya in her footsteps. A chill runs down her spine as the realization sets in. Of course. The Chosen King would have to have his greatest adversary present no matter where he went. Her hands clutch each other tightly before she turns her gaze to the phone. She is not frightened by him. What worse could he do to her that has yet been done? ]

I had hoped that you had finally found peace, Chancellor Izunia. It seems that fate has not granted such a blessing to you yet.

[Well, if she wished for anyone to blame for that, all she would have to do is turn to the spirits in control of the cities. He could very well have been on the way towards that peace she'd so hoped for him, yet here they both were.]

Alas, fate always has different plans than what you would ever hope for. One would think you would understand that disappointment far more than most.

[Cindy woke up in one of the pods, and she stumbled out, going through the phone and information she was being given about apparently, her new home. She pauses when she notices the snow for a second, she wasn't dressed for this, but also because of the woman she saw standing there with her.]

Lady Lunafreya!

[She was definitely in a worse state than she was. Pocketing her phone, she ran over to check on the Oracle.]

[ The voice is not one that she is inherently familiar with. However, she turns to address the woman that must so clearly be from Eos as well. Her hands fold as a small bow is given to Cindy as she rushes over to her aid. ]

[Well this is something unexpected, someone he isn't expecting to see at all, especially because of circumstances that happened and he sees Noctis has reached out to her, and probably she knows they're on their way, but he can't help but look at her shyly and wave on his device.

He is sure she won't know who he is just by looking at him, but that's alright, even if he can feel the heat rising in his cheeks, but he's easily flustered, it's not anything she did.

If Noct goes out in this mess, so does he.]

[ Despite the cold and the wet, Lunafreya offers a kind smile to the blonde that waves to her on the feed. A blanket is now on her shoulders as she raises one hand in a small wave in return. ]

Have you received any help yet? I'm making my way through the blizzard to get people to Schnee Company. We've got coffee, tea, and hot chocolate as well as blankets and generator-run heaters ready for newcomers, I can come pick you up.

[ Weiss is wearing a white dress as well, and a warm-looking coat on top of it, but her video feed isn't particularly clear given that most of what she's wearing/what colors she is are white and the strong winds and snow are making her blend. There also appears to be some kind of strange blue creature (a Lapras) behind her making sure she doesn't get swept away by the heavy winds or buried in snow. ]

Despite the shivers, the blanket, and the cold? She smiles still. It is another chance she has been gifted. It is not one she can simply let her pass by. Whatever she must do to help Noctis and his Crownsguard here, she must. And if the Oracle can help others of this world? Then she will. ]
