[Rapunzel had never really been out in the snow, nor had she really seen a blizzard so when it had finally arrived Rapunzel couldn't help but to go out into it. It wasn't long though until she realized that it was not the best of ideas.

She had soon become lost and rather cold, even if she was wearing the appropriate clothing, even boots because her bare feet couldn't really handle the cold. They were nice and fluffy on the inside and they worked well. They were the rare shoes she liked.

As the young blonde started to walk, she kept her arms wrapped around her, trying to make out where on earth she was, but with the blizzard, it wasn't exactly that easy. Going into her bag she managed to turn the device on, snow passing in front of her face as she looked around briefly.]

I'm sorry to be a bother, but I'm...kind of stuck outside with no idea of where I am. I mean I know which city I am in, but otherwise pretty much lost.

[She sheepishly puts some strands of hair behind her ear as she feed is soon switched off.]

[How was it that whenever there was some sort of disaster going on, people still went outside? Garrus had hoped that stupidity was confined to his own galaxy, but it looks like idiocy knows no bounds. And, as a Guardian, that idiocy is his to deal with.]

Which city are you in? Are there any buildings nearby you can take shelter in?

Since I was near my home. Genessia.

[She had looked around quietly for a moment.]

As for buildings...I cannot tell, but I am looking around.

[That's convenient. Garrus was crashing at Regency Apartments until the storm passed.]

I'm in Gen City right now. Are there any landmarks nearby? Something that might give me a hint as to where you are?

[He might not know this city as well but he's going to do what he can to help her. ]

I really cannot tell. Too much snow.

[She narrowed her eyes slightly. Though if I find a wall I might notice something. Or maybe I should just say where I live? Since I was near there last.]

Once I know I will say, okay?

[Garrus gives a nod, but he’s clearly not happy about it.]

I might be able to trace your call. [He’s not at the office where the higher-tech equipment is and he’s only ever used his omni-tool for close range things, but theoretically he could extend the reach of it. Maybe. He’s never tried.

Not that he’s ever let that stop him before.]

It’ll take a bit of time. Will you be alright?

[Not that he really knows what he’ll do if she says no. Navigating the entire city trying to find one person could take hours.]

If I stay still I should be because otherwise I might just get more lost.

[She wasn't moving, she was standing still at least.]

Stay where you are then. [That should actually make it easier to ping her location.] Though if it lightens up and you can make out a building, maybe see if it's open.

[He's already working on setting up a what he's hoping will allow him to triangulate her location on his omni-tool, but it's really a crapshoot. He's trying to program his cell to trace the call and the omni-tool to translate the data since he knows the phone can handle the range no problem, but since he's never attempted anything like this before he has no idea if it's possible and, if it is, how long it will take to set up. He's hoping not too long, though, otherwise the girl's in some big trouble.]

((ooc: I don't know what your plans are with this whole thing so your call if you want Garrus to save her or not.))

Do you think it will lighten up?

[She wanted to sound hopeful about that at least. She knew to just stand there even if the cold was slowly trickling underneath her jacket, gloves and the like. It was cold even with them on. crossing her arms over her chest she was trying her best to keep herself warm.]

Do you also know how to keep warm while standing still?

[OOC: I'll be fine with that.]

The storm's supposed to keep going until tomorrow, but there's a chance it'll calm down for a bit at some point. Just not sure when exactly.

[He'd check the forecast but he's a little busy at the moment.]

[He glances up from his work to look at her.] I'd say don't actually stand still. Move around a bit. [He turns his attention back to his work. He's making better progress than he thought he would.] You need to get your blood pumping. Do you work out at all?

Move around, got it. I know some work out I can do.

[It was mostly consisting of stretching and maybe a bit of skipping but that was about the extend of what she does. but she is at least moving, stretching her arms above her head for a few seconds before stretching forward. All the while she is still holding the device.]

Is this okay?

[He can't really see what she's doing since the camera is jumping around, but that looks like movement, so it's good enough for him.]

Yeah, that's fine. Hang on a sec, I've almost got it.

[He needs to talk to someone about making the device locations more accessible for Guardians and Deputies. There's got to be a program they can write that would recognize and update their digital signatures every election period in case of emergencies.

A few more taps and...]

Got you. You're not too far from me. About six blocks. Let me grab a coat and I'll head out. [He looks out the window, and damn, it's still really coming down out there. It's times like this he envied Cassian's tolerance to the cold. This was going to be rough.] I should be able to get to you in ten. Stay on the line just in case something happens.

Okay, I think I can do that.

[She is still very much cold, but she is trying her best to try and at least get a tiny bit warm, even if it mean a lot of moving about and jogging around in circles.]

In Genessia somewhere. I thought I was near my apartment, but I'm not so sure anymore.

[ He's standing up, grabbing one of his new scarves: ]

Can y'stay on the line, I can go out and look for you.

I can do that.

[That wasn't so hard at least, she could do that.]

Though why do I need to stay on the line?

Dunno how long you've been out there.

[ New coat, new hat, new scarf, new gloves. Out into the storm. ]

Best to keep you alert.

Not too long. Thirty minutes at best.

[Rapunzel smiled slightly.]

I am always alert. So that should be easy.

[ Standing out in the blowing snow, examining the streets, his mind raced, trying to think of how to find her. ]

Good. Good t'hear.

[ A pause ]

Where were you walkin from, before you got lost?

My apartment, which I guess I should give the address of right?

[Because that was logical.]

Rose Avenue and 24th Street.

All right.

[ And off he goes in that direction, it'd just be lucky if he ran into her right away, wouldn't it?

The wind is fierce, and he's grateful for the new scarf, ugly or not. ]

And where were y'tryin to get to?

I was just sticking around I thought, but I think I must have wandered off without meaning to.

[Which meant she hadn't been focused.]
