Let's play a game.
Who: Chiaki Namami and whoever is at the arcade
What: Trapped in the arcade it's time to play some D&D because why not.
Where: Aphrodite's Love Matching & Arcade
When: January 2nd - 4th
Warnings: None right now.
[Chiaki had for some reason decided to work at the arcade when the blizzard hit. She hadn't really noticed it at least until she saw someone come in covered with a good amount of snow. Shaking her head she walked on over to the doors of the place, taking a lookout and seeing just how much snow there was. Maybe it hadn't been the best idea to actually work today. Maybe it had been best to just stay indoors.
But she was checking if there were people around, gesturing for them to come in if there was before she made sure to close up for the time being. Once that sign had been turned she made sure to see who was around, a small smile on her face.]
Does anyone want to play a game?

Does anyone want to play a game?

She looked outside and saw the storm was picking up. The girl sighed to herself softly as she surrendered quietly. Oh well, suppose it was better indoors than out there.
When Chiaki spoke, Kirika turned towards the young teen curiously. Well, it got this girl's attention. A game? She didn't know much about games.]

Though you don't have to, we have plenty of other things to do, but I was thinking of doing a whole dungeon and dragons thing.
no subject
[Clearly she's never heard of this.]
What is that?
no subject
You usually have a dungeon master and explorers and the dungeon master sets up the story and of course you have rolling of the dice to determine things like if an attack hit or something.
[A pause.]
Did I explain it well?
no subject
I think so. I don't really play games so... I might be slow at this, if that's okay.
no subject
[She had even been giving hints and such at where they were currently because she enjoyed doing so.]
no subject
[She doesn't mind. In fact, she's curious, in her sort of quiet way. She was ready.]

[This is already going so well, don't you think? Chiaki had soon wandered off to check where the paper was, most likely in the matchmaking area, once she was back with a pen and paper she sat down to focus on writting up questions.]
Sorry for taking so long.
no subject
No, it's fine.
[It didn't seem long to her honestly.]
no subject
[It was the first thing she was going to write down.]
I guess also race. Like Elf, Half Elf, there are many others if you want me to list them all to give you an idea?
no subject
[She was still new to this, bear with her. But she does give it some thoughts.]
Um, Mireille?
[Not exactly original, but it will do.]
A list of race if that's okay.
no subject
Okay so you would have the choice of human, elf, half-elf, dwarf, half-dwarf... Those are the ones off the top of my head. I guess for something different we can add fairy.
no subject
Half-elf is fine.
[Following a nod. She got this!]

Okay so now we have class which is things like barbarian, bard, monk, paladin, Rogue, Wizard things like that. Then you have alignment which I can explain if you'd like.
[Because she knew there was more to it because of the whole good and bad thing.] You also have gender, level which in this case would only be level 1 so that's already done so it will be size which I will fill out based on your character since your half-elf it means you'd fall into the medium size.
[As she spoke she was already filling out certain areas in which she had to do it.]
Only other thing you need to answer if age. height and weight I can do based on your character class and race,
no subject
[Kirika listens, deciding.]
Wizard? [That she knows what it is at least.] Wizard is fine.
[She nods as Chiaki explains.]
Um, age 23. Height is five, five, and the weight hmm, one fifty. [It's official, she's basing her character from her partner back home.]
no subject
[They helped people and that was always a good thing in her mind. She was jotting down as the other spoke, it was obvious she was listening at least with what she was saying.]
Height and weight I mentioned are based on your character's class and race, but since you chose half else and wizard the height and weight you wanted could be allowed as it's within the area.
[She soon found herself stopping before looking up.] And we are done, here is your character sheet. [She smiled brightly before holding it out for her to take.]
no subject
Oh. Sorry.
[She wasn't sure if she was suppose to give out the numbers on weight or not. She smiles though when her character sheet is done, and plucks it from Chiaki.]
Thank you.

When it was clear they were not going to make it back home, Scott welcomed the safety of the arcade and brushed off the snow from his coat.]
Sorry, I hope if it's okay if the dog stays? I didn't think the weather was going to turn ugly so quickly. Uh...what kind of game?
no subject
[Chiaki was going to be positive on this one, she knew who the owner was anyway and they seemed nice enough. So she figured they would be understanding due to the blizzard. She stepped to the side to gesture for the other to come further in before following.]
As for the kind of game. It's a table top game. It's not called dungeons and dragons but it's styled that way.

I never played a D&D campaign before but a few weeks ago Gwen explained to me how the game and characters work. I'd love to give it a try.
[He follows her inside, Horatio behind them, welcoming the warm atmosphere of the arcade.]
I wanted to thank you for the Christmas present, the videogame console. You really didn't have to, Chiaki. It's been a lot of fun to play again, I missed it.
no subject
[It was why she got a little interested in this type of thing recently.]
I wanted to, at least then you can bond with friends over it. It's why I did it. Plus it is always a nice thing to have here, fun. Especially when bad things happen.
no subject
[Scott is no expert but he knows that you need a few things t effectively play roleplay games. He gives Chiaki a small smile at that last comment, even if it's a little sad. He misses his friends from home and more than anything worries about them being alright.]
I agree that getting to know others more can't hurt. Do we have to come up with a character for this?
