WHO: Zeref and everyone else who was riding out the storm in Fairy Haven
WHAT: With the blizzard striking Fayren, Fairy Haven opened its doors to anyone in the city without access to shelter. It's day 3, and Zeref's getting cabin fever.
WHEN: January 4th, 2018
WHERE: Fayren - Fairy Haven
{ Mavis was officially the Guardian, now. A fresh mandate from the voters meant renewed responsibility, and even if helping those without shelter survive a storm was among the most obvious of responsibilities for a Guardian, that meant potentially many more strangers in Fairy Haven for as many as least four straight nights. Zeref had just started getting used to Mirajane's parties, thrown with Mavis' permission, keeping him up at night, but at least the partygoers were usually all gone by the next morning.
He was never actually trapped with others, before. Mavis' rule that only members of the Guild were allowed in the Master's Quarters upstairs - Zeref being the only exception - was still in effect, but Zeref couldn't stay cooped up in there forever. He needed to get out and stretch his legs a bit, but obviously, he still couldn't go outside. Fairy Haven's magically-sustained hearth was keeping the place warm, and immortality didn't make extreme weather less unpleasant.
Descending the staircase from Fairy Haven's second floor, black, fatigued eyes scanned the main hall. For a place that hadn't closed for three straight nights, it still looked to be in good shape. He could hear the wind howling outside, and the windows showed nothing but white; he couldn't even see Fairy Haven's courtyard in the total white-out. He was feeling hungry, however, and maybe he could at least find something interesting to talk about with those present.
This was the same person who left Alvarez for years at a time. He loved being here with Mavis, but being trapped in the same building for three nights was leaving him with a serious case of cabin fever.}
