ten consciousnesses.

WHO: Sertoria & Angela!
WHAT: Two angels stuck in their house during the blizzard. Shenanigans ensue.
WHEN: Blizzard event.
WHERE: Their house in Genessia.
WARNINGS: Possible sad stuff being discussed? Will update as we go along.

It had become commonplace for the mornings to comprise of Sertoria always being the first to greet Angela with a cup of coffee and breakfast already made for she didn't require sleep. And really, what else was she to do in the meantime beyond occupy her time with chores around the house to busy herself?

"Good morning, Angela. How did you sleep?" she spoke, a smile crossing her features while she looked at her. She strolled over to the table, placing down the plates of food that she made while still wearing that smile on her face.

There was a pause as she strolled over to the oven, looking out the windows as she saw naught much but sheer whiteness. For all the time she spent in Genessia, she never experienced a weather quite like this here. In her mind, she wondered how her friends were faring and if she should go out there and see what she could do to help out. Perhaps in a bit...

...when she's had some breakfast perhaps. She was still insistent that it was a waste of food to have her eat when she didn't require nourishment in the first place.

"Would you require anything else to eat? I would not mind making it for you if you do."

Angela has always appreciated when Sertoria did that for her. She wasn't always the best at getting to bed at a decent time, due to work, she tries though. Although there are times when she did intentionally wait up to make sure that Sertoria wasn't all alone sometimes. Sometimes she felt a little guilty that she was doing most of the housework when Sertoria was busy with work, so she did what she could. Today was much like the same, but seeing how they were snowed in, she doubted that she wasn't going to be able to leave.

After thanking her for the coffee, she looked out the window while taking a sip of it, "I slept okay. It's a little cold, but not too bad otherwise." She would have asked Sertoria as well, but seeming as she didn't sleep, she refrained from doing so. After studying the outside, she went to go sit down at the table to eat breakfast.

"I'm okay with this, but I'm not sure if I can actually get to work like this. We'll have to see what happens," she'll have to call in later if she has to.

Honestly, if she didn't require it, was there harm if she didn't eat? As long as Sertoria was okay and not in any serious shape, she could probably deal with not seeing Sertoria eat or sleep. Normally if that were the case, she'd worry about the person, but since Sertoria didn't need it, she wasn't as insistent and she usually would be.

"I suppose. I guess I wouldn't mind, but if we can't leave than there's not much we can do about that," she shrugged. Maybe if nothing else, this could be a forced vacation on Angela's behalf. She didn't take enough time for herself as it was. It was still nice to spend time with Sertoria as well. "Hopefully things will die down soon."

Angela didn't particularly have anything in mind, but she was okay with spending more time with her angelic housemate. After all, she doubted that the storm would let up any time soon.

"Hmm... Nothing really comes to mind," she said until she realized with an "oh!" and got up to grab something. She came back with Bankruptcy and set it on the side of the table. "How about this?"

Thankfully she'd already finished her food, so she cleaned up the plates and took them over to the sink, glancing over. She gave her a nod, "That would be great, thanks." After she was done with putting them in -- she'll wash them later -- she returned back to the table to start setting it up.

Again, she thanked her for making her hot chocolate and took a small sip of it to keep from burning herself. She shook her head lightly, "I don't really think you need skills for this game. Anyone could play it. What piece would you like to use as a token?" she asked, showing them to her. She was going to take the cat if Sertoria didn't, but she was going to let her choose first. In the end, it didn't matter what Angela had.

While she set the ship down, she rolled to see who would go first. Of course it was her luck to only get 4 upon initial roll. Oh well, she'll just hand her the dice to roll as well.

Oh, that's right.

"Oh! I'd love to know more about you. We could get to know each other better while we play," she said with a smile and a small nod, "What should we talk about first?"

Angela nodded for a moment, listening quietly as she rolled and moved her ship. A biological weapon... That was something that rubbed her the wrong way. Not that she'd exactly been in that position, but it did make her think about how Overwatch wanted to make Genji into something of the same sort to disband the Shimada clan. She may have had some part of it, but her intentions were to save his life, not turn him into a weapon. He was still a human and deserved a chance to live, even if it meant becoming 90% metal. She just felt bad for the way he had to adjust. Biting her lip at the memory, she silently listened onward.

It was easy to assume someone cared if you were brought up that way, so she definitely had her sympathy. The important thing was that Sertoria was able to grow from that and become her own person.

"I'm... sorry to hear that. So if you were brought into the world that way, what would you consider yourself to be?" no matter the answer, there was no wrong way to answer. She was just a bit curious. Rolling the dice on her turn, she rolled a five to land on the Reading Railroad.

An anomaly....

It's.... a word that sort of bugs her to hear her reference herself as, but she has no reason to say anything so she'll remain silent and listen. At least she was able to follow her heart and her own desires to change who she was; Having the opportunity to act on your own accord.

The next portion made her heart sink though. To be forced against your will to do something like that... It clearly hurt Sertoria on an emotional level. At least Genji still had a mind of his own and Overwatch -- as militaristic as it was -- gave him the freedom to act on his own, so as long as he followed their primary objective. She stared at the dice for a moment, realizing it her her turn to roll, but instead she stood up from her chair and walked over to her. Without any warning, she embraced her, figuring she probably needed it after telling Mercy something as traumatic as that. There wasn't much Mercy could do about the past, but maybe the comfort would be enough to showed that she was there for her?

"I'm sorry," was all that she said, barely making it out trying to figure out how to follow, "I... know it doesn't mean much now but.... I'll be here for you for as long as you need me."
