Fortuna Palace Log!
WHO: Emerald, Johnny, Jaune, David, Enis, Faye, anyone else who is hanging out at Fortuna Palace
WHAT: Hiding from the cold, doing silly dumb stuff
WHEN: Through the blizzard, any day
WHERE: Fortuna Palace, Nova City
WARNINGS/the worst SUMMARY: Idk it's a casino so gambling mentions (it's closed so probably not actual gambling unless they are really bored), fire, rudeness, campfire song songs, Johnny is the campfire (that boy is 🔥🔥🔥), Em's milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard (thats just milk and whatever flavor you find right?? right. there's no elecricity it's really just gonna be x milk), Jaune idk if you knew this but tents are not insulated very well, Faye will enjoy the eye candy, Enis has no shame, strip poker requires no electricity?? but no alcohol em and david are the fun police.?
[ Emerald had no idea how she'd ended up in this situation.
Okay, no, she did. Stupid actually giving a minor shit about one or two people snowballing into a massive group of people huddled around her boss for heat on a trek to his casino. Emerald always preferred the arcade over it, but admittedly there was definitely more food and less gum stuck under the tables at the casino.. and it was closer to where they'd had to pick up Jaune (the idiot must've forgotten that tents don't provide the best heat and Emerald wasn't worried but she'd have to hear the complaining later if he and his dog froze to death).
This had all started, of course, when she was already with David since she'd planned on talking to him before they get snowed in, then realized Jaune was probably out in his stupid willing hobo tent. And it's dangerous out there, so they decided to take this to protect themselves from the cold. That was when they found Enis, and she's not the worst person either so Em didn't interject when others invited her to come with. Faye was already at the casino, so here they were now, sealing off the rotatey doors and trying to figure out how to get some more light in here because casinos are notoriously awful for offering natural light. (It helps people lose track of time.)
At least Emerald hoped they were sealing it off. What a headache it would've been if more people got here. They already had a hefty group with the soothing surround sound of David and Jaune's weird case of samevoice.
