Action! - January 2nd-5th
[The raging storm of sleet and snow must seem unbearable to someone who walks around in orange heels and a short sailor skirt. But she's been in worse. Died there, too, so maybe she just didn't have time to really suffer from the cold? Whatever. Being Sailor Venus seems to keep her warmer, and she knows her limits. If things get bad she'll duck inside a building and wait it out, but in the meantime?]
[Crime and monster attacks are still a thing, so Sailor Venus is making the rounds.]
[Looters in Attleton, trolls in Fayren, ghouls in Everglade...and what, jammed up electronics in Nova City? That place never seems to have much in the way of monsters and native threats, but she'll make a round or two there anyway just in case.]
[The point is, she's out there trying to make sure people are safe, since everyone else is busy being holed up to ask 'Hey where's Minako anyway?' She's been wanting to exercise her heroic muscles for a while anyway, so sit tight and let her save the day!]

She wasn't alone though as she walked up and down the block in Attleton. Prancing in the snow in front of her was Glaceon, getting a bit of exercise. Anastasia herself wasn't at all dressed for a blizzard. She looked ready for a stroll in summer sunshine, and she looks perfectly fine. In fact, she even seems to have no trouble walking on top of the snow, rather than sink into it.
What was supposed to be a pleasant winter time stroll turned downwards as a pair of heavily geared hooligans surround her.]
Hey yo, hand over that mutt thing. We need it for things.
[While Anastasia could cast magic to defend herself, there was one of her and two of them. She decides to recall Glaceon to its pokeball and makes a run for it back towards where she is staying, followed closely by the thugs.]

NYAAAGH!
[A huge ball of snow slams right into the forefront thug's face, sending him plopping onto his back and making a malformed snow angel with his sprawled limbs.]
Hold it right there, snow-jerks!
[Standing proud on the top of the pharmacy, long blonde hair flagging in the powerful gusts of wind, is a stern-faced girl with another giant globe of snow held in her hand.]
Taking advantage of a kid in a snowstorm and trying to steal her pet? I guess all this snow froze your hearts as well as your common sense! Hup!
[She leaps down, nimble as you please, and tosses the ball of snow to her other hand.]
I'm Sailor Venus, champion of love and justice! I suggest you run back to your nice warm homes. Because if you don't...
[She dramatically points a gloved finger.]
I will punish you!

She turned to see the two punks being challenged by a girl who appears to also not be affected by the snow and cold. She releases Glaceon from it's pokeball, which uses its Ice power to freeze the snow around Anastasia so she can climb out and walk on snow again.
Jerk 2 helps Jerk 1 back to his feet as they consider their options.]
"Man, screw this noise."
[They turn around and just waddle through the snow to get away. Once they were far enough away, Anastasia approaches.]
Thank you... I didn't know such rude people would still be active.

[Which is why she's even out here in the first place. Since the criminals are leaving, Sailor Venus drops her ball of snow and dusts her gloved hands together. Much as she'd like to pursue and arrest them, the police station doesn't even exist in this city, and she's positive there's no one at the guardian's office. She was about ready to help Anastasia up, but it seems she's already managed to get back on her feet.]
You should get back inside. A blizzard is no place to be if you can avoid it. Need help finding your way back?
no subject
[She looks back down the road where the hooligans went, and thankfully, they are not in sight.]
However, I don't think I can defend myself if they catch me by surprise again. I would appreciate your company on my way back, if that's okay with you.
[She looks back to the Sailor Scout.]
You are dressed like a magical girl in the books I read. You said you are called Sailor Venus?
no subject
[She nods once with a friendly smile, glad to see the kid is okay. (They're probably not that far apart in age, so the mannerisms are throwing her off.)]
'Magical girl,' huh? Are they writing books about us, or is it more the generic type?
[Either way she doesn't mind playing escort. That was kind of her job for Sailor Moon to begin with.]
no subject
But now they're walking, with Glaceon up ahead, using its Pokémon powers to keep the snow frozen hard enough for Anastasia to walk on it.]
They're graphic novels. My favourite series has a girl who gains cat ears when she transforms. She uses cat-themed magic to keep the city safe for the boy she likes.
I kinda wish I could be a magical girl.
no subject
Why's that?
[She chuckles instead, keeping pace. She still has to watch her footing, but as long as it's snow and not ice, she can keep from embarrassing herself too much.]
no subject
I guess...for the costume. And maybe have a more... A better use for my magic on the homefront.
[Rather than being forced in a impossible task.]
no subject
I'm sure you can wear a costume whether you're a sailor senshi or not. But what's that about magic?
no subject
As for magic, she stopped and checked if she had Venus's attention. With both of her hands out, she concentrated her magic, blue ribbon-like wisps gathered around and solidified into water and shadows.]
Magic. Ribbons of mana woven together into materialised elements. Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Lightning, Ice, Light and Darkness.
[She closed her hands gently, breaking the spells and turning to continue the way home. It's not much farther now.]
I have a purpose with this magic, but it's neither ideal or happy.
no subject
I don't want to pry, so I won't ask. But just because you have a purpose doesn't mean you have to stick to it, especially not here.
no subject
... I'm still trying to find a new purpose here. I'm exploring the idea of going into singing and dancing.
[At long last, they reached the fancy house belonging to Ayame Sasaki, whom Anastasia and her guardian are close to. She looks to Venus and dips into a quick, habitual curtsy, as does her Glaceon.]
Thank you for your help and company, Sailor Venus. I hope we can meet again some day.
no subject
[She salutes playfully, touching two fingers to her left brow.]
And you probably will. I'm always on the lookout to punish troublemakers! Stay safe.
[Sailor Venus waves before turning to dash away through the snow.]
[Because she is FREEZING and needs to go home and take a moment to warm up with some instant cocoa.]

That was the higher-ups treating him horrible and expecting him to do more than he should be. Sure he had been trapped in the store with them, but they were expecting him to do the work and they do very little. So the young man had enough and simply left, stating that he had enough.
So out into the cold, he went, thankful a little for the hat he usually wore. It kept his head warm. However, he knew he didn't live anywhere near where he had been working and it was slowly starting to get cold. Narrowing his eyes he started to look around... he really had no idea where he was and seemed lost.]
no subject
[Running isn't all that feasible when the snow is this deep, but she does have those nice, ridiculously long legs. She pushes toward him, an arm raised to keep the swirls of ice and sleet from blowing into her eyes.]
Hey!
[She's catching up fast, and when she's sure she's close enough that he can hear her, she calls out to him.]
Need help finding your way?
no subject
Nice to see you again and yes. I'm heading home because I didn't want to stay stuck where I was.
no subject
[She's not sure how his old place could have been so bad that he would have risked coming out in this storm, but it must not have been well-stocked with supplies.]
What's the address? Do you remember which streets it's on?
no subject
[He doesn't know Mimi is also stuck at the place she works at.]
Address wise, Dogwood Avenue and 16th Street. I don't think its too far from here.
no subject
[She winks and holds her hand out to him, so they won't lose each other as they fight their way against the blinding gusts of icy wind. Boy is she glad this city is laid out so neatly! With the streets in numerical and alphabetical order, she seldom goes more than one block in the wrong direction.]
Hold tight, and keep your head down!
no subject
You making sure we don't separate or did you just really want to hold my hand.
[It was clearly obvious he was teasing, he knew it was the first one.]
But lead the way, leader.
no subject
I can tell you're going to be quite the charmer when you're older!
[Better than still being at the age where he'd shake off her grip and complain about girl cooties. She trudges on, stopping only at the street sign to confirm her bearings. The last thing she'd want to do is offer to lead the way, only to take him to the sewage treatment plant on accident. At least it wasn't too far, like he'd said, and there aren't any monsters to harass them on the way.]
no subject
I will take that as a compliment. Though if you ever saw my brother you would honestly think he would be the charmer of the family... But he really isn't. [All said with a smile, he likes teasing his brother even when said brother isn't here. He soon found himself trying to figure out where they were right now.]
You know I realized it's really hard to tell where we are with all the snow.
no subject
It's not so bad in this city. The street layout doesn't really change, it's easy to get your bearings once you know which streets you're on. I'm just glad you don't live in Everglade or Fayren.
no subject
[Only would go there when he was comfortable to go through it, which wouldn't be anytime soon.]
Genessia seemed like the safer option if I am honest.
