With the recent weather this may be fortuitous timing, if there are some of you who are in need of support after these unpleasantly freezing events.

Since the Guardian debates I have been formulating a plan to open a Centre for those who are troubled or have experienced traumas; for those who have an intense sadness that is difficult to move past or other forms of emotional defeat. While I regretfully did not gain the position to serve as your Guardian in Nova City, I remain on as one of your deputies and this will be a side project for myself. This is personally very important to me.

I have the time and I will continue to also protect the city as before.

I will be partly funding this myself, however to be the most successful I wish to find some other interested parties to keep this going. If all goes well, I do hope to be able to hire paying staff but for the present time I will be asking for volunteers who are doctors or healers of the mind. Those who can discuss issues and matters of faith, spirit and soul.

Along with this, if there is interest, I will be offering side classes in self defence tactics and teaching this myself. This will be done for a fee that will also be put back into The Grievous Centre for Trauma and Self Defence project.

[Yes, he may need a better name for that.]

Well I'm no healer, but if you occasionally need somebody else on the self-defense side, I'd be willing to lend a hand.

This is a really cool thing you're doing though, and I hope it works out. But you might wanna work on the name, because frankly? The puns on the word 'grievous' practically write themselves.

I may need some extra teachers if there are enough students wanting to learn.

You know, funny you should bring it up, well, not the trauma, obviously, but wanting to help, something I like to do quite a bit, myself, might be able to volunteer when things get especially hairy if you need names to call up for extra support, but in the mean time, I wondered if we might have another sit-down, been a while, thought we ought to... you know, catch up.

Well...I don't know if I can help, but...when you get this going, I think I could use some help with mental and emotional healing. I have...important things to do, but I feel like I get emotionally defeated too easily...

I can do physical healing, but...mental healing is something else entirely...

I think it's amazing that you had started this project, sir. I don't exactly have a lot of money for funding but I could be a volunteer or help with the self defence classes.

It is those like yourself that this centre will be for then. Even if we start only with a small staff, there will be somebody you can come to for support.

Your question made me realise the absence of such a place and that there was a need for it. From personal experiences, I know how important this is.

Yeah, you know. People could say things like 'it's the place to come if you have grievous issues to deal with' or something. This is pretty obviously something that's important to you, so you don't want jokes being made about it just because the name happens to be a bit strange.

I will be waiting. I just hope however we have people who actually go. One thing being something actually there.

It's another to get people to admit they even need the help.

Oh, then I'm glad that someone considered the issue I brought up as something worth looking into. It is very important, I agree. And this could help a lot of people.
