[Putting his device away, Enno hurries. Unfortunately, all told it took him a full hour and a half before he could get to Shi. Jogging up and ignoring the burn in his lungs, the knight looks carefully for Shi, spotting the boy right next to the sign and comes up.]

Shi, are you ready?

[As he asks, Enno kneels and unbuttons his cloak so he can offer it to the boy to bundle with.]

[Shi has been watching passerbys for the past hour, all while wondering how to handle them. And Enno. Should he tell Enno to go away? But after all the time the knight spent running to him, that would be awful... Still, Shi is cautious. Even when the cloak is offered, he's wondering if he's getting too greedy.]

Yes-- Or, uh. [He looks at the cloak, then Enno.] I should be okay. I-I'm um.

[Quietly, and truthfully for once:] This body is already dead. You should take care of your own... I can still move myself, so I must not be frost bitten yet.

[Now Enno pauses again, staring at Shi silently as the revelations tick by. For Enno, Shi's confession equates him to being a Lich; which is an irony since Enno used to be as well, thanks to crazy Soul-Magic. So feeling more sympathetic, if that's even possible for him by this point, Enno tosses the cloak around Shi, and scoops the teen easily up into his arms.]

Protect your body, Fwer; sometimes it can be hard to repair. [Which may be telling, but this poor young one needs some support and Enno is willing to give it until he doesn't need it anymore.] Plus my armor helps with the cold, some.

Now stay bundled and I will find us an inn. Or hotel. Whatever they call them here.

[The ease at which Enno accepted that fact is not missed by Shi. He's trying hard not to over-analyze the other, but Shi is becoming curious. Back home, telling that fact to someone would give him a 75% chance of being sorta-murdered. Here, with Enno, it got him a cloak and picked up.

If you're sure... Thank you. [Guilt is still setting in. Relying on people isn't what a knight does. Shi would spend more time obsessing over his failings, but there's a lot more to consider right now.]

Y-Yes! Here, uh--

[After a short struggle, he succeeds with the map. No matter how often Shi looks at it, everything is still incredibly foreign to him. He barely had a handle on his home map, but now this?]

Have you been here long? I don't really know this place too well right now...

[Looking over the map for a few seconds, he shifts Shi to one arm easily and gently indicates he wants the map turned to to the left.]

This...looks right. Here is the Bay where we arrived. I have only been here for...two weeks, though there has been a lot of walking done till now; this snow was very sudden. It reminds me of parts of home.

[Returning to studying the map for a few more seconds, he nods and turns right at an intersection.]

We shall be there soon, and when the weather is more clear; I will take you to get some warm clothes and we can explore more.

[He shifts the map appropriately, though he is startled by how he's being carried. Shi hasn't even met another Kami this strong.]

Two weeks... I read there were other places we could go, if we kept these crystals. [Which Shi is imagining to be like a passport.] But it's okay. I walk a lot back home.
