[Her eyes flutter open, peering up at the cave's ceiling as she slowly stirs from her slumber. Circular patterns of light shift above her while the distant echo of water laps within the pool surrounding her cocoon. A soft pressure against her side pulls her attention towards a small box resting at her hip. She stares at the curious object before turning her attention back towards the ceiling.]

Was I asleep?

[Her voice is soft and sweet. Somehow sounding like it doesn't belong to her. She searches her memories for what happened as the cold wind from outside the cave snakes its way to her, brushing over the exposed sections of pale skin. She remembers fire, heat, someone is holding her... the memory breaks and shatters before she can see more.

Time stretches as she futility searches through hazy broken memories for more.

When Terra finally moves her limbs feel stiff and unused. Her palm holds onto the side of the pod as her boots step into the cold water below her. She takes the box into her hands and carries it out to the entrance of the cave.

It's all so familiar...

The brightness just outside the cave makes Terra pause and squint.]

Snow?

[Terra lowers herself to her knees, placing the box at her side as she gathers a bit of snow into her palm. There are snow banks further away, already stained with black from the cars that rumble through the streets, but not this snow. The snow in front of the bay is white with only a few footsteps and shoveled grooves marring it's perfection.

It feels like I've forgotten something important.

But I can't remember what it could have been

Or even why I was asleep.

But... I know it'll come back to me and maybe then, I can find my way

Terra doesn't move from the bay's entrance nor does she pay much attention to the hologram or pamphlets. There is something that she's trying to remember...]

[ If she was hoping for anything familiar, the first person she saw wouldn't be very helpful.

Violet eyes regarded her with curiosity. Normally, the people around here didn't stick around for the cold and yet here was this girl, hanging around the entryway where she woke up, without a care in the world.

Naturally, Noah had an immunity (or at least a very high resistance) to the cold, if for a rather unpleasant reason, but she didn't see any reason for this girl to be the same. ]

Hihihi, if you keep spacing out like that, you'll freeze to death.

[ Says the bunny girl clad in a summery dress. ]

[sidon was busy clearing away the snow in the area, deciding to help the people! it was hard for everyone, dealing with the snow, and this is the only thing he could think of to do in the meantime. he had a shovel in hand, massive to the normal folk but it was regular sized for him, and he was pushing it out of the way.

he noticed, however, that he was getting closer to the caves by the bay. he saw someone emerge from them, touching the snow.]

You there! Hello! Over heeeeere! [he waved to her!] Are you quite alright? Did you just arrive?!

[Terra has never had trouble with the cold. She feels the air prickle against her skin but it doesn't bother her. It's as if nature is reaching out to her, greeting her with it's frigid embrace.

She looks up at Noah, meeting the girls gaze before rising back to her feet and allowing the snow in her palm to fall away.]

Will I?

I've been in snowy regions before; in the mountains. I don't remember having trouble with the snow.

[Though Terra doesn't trust her own memory.]

It's a little hazy.

[Terra releases the snow in her palms, watching as the little clumps of white tumble to the ground. She slowly raises to her feet before turning towards Sidon. She doesn't know him, nor does he pull at the familiar forgotten threads that tantalize her thoughts.]

I am and I have.

[Her voice is soft and sweet despite Sidon's booming hello.

Terra doesn't appear to be phased by his form of greeting.]

But, this all feels very familiar somehow.

You have? Hmmm.

[ Noah seemed a little surprised for a bit. And now that she was studying her, Noah also realized that she was hardly reacting to the cold, much like herself. ]

I'm hardly the one to help you with your memories, though. You'll have to just find them yourself. [ Her voice seemed vaguely condescending, as if not consciously trying to be so. ] Most people here cling to the memories of their own worlds. But you seem drawn to something entirely different...

You'll catch a nasty cold wearing clothes like that in this weather.

[Seventeen simply said standing in front of her. He happened to walk by Bay area holding a sac over his shoulder. Then again, he's not even wearing a jacket, just a sweater and jeans. At least he had gloves on, that's a plus, right?]

[the large zora man walks down to her, making sure that she really is alright. humans can't survive long in this harsh weather!]

...Familiar? [he places a hand on his chin.] Have you been here before, perhaps? I heard other have returned and such.

[Terra misses the condescending note to the other girls voice. It doesn't bother her. She's used to Kefka who only talks down to those around him.]

I will then. Perhaps... when I find what I'm looking for.

[Her fingers delicately brush against the box in her arms as she regards Noah more seriously.]

What do you mean? Drawn to something entirely different?

[Terra isn't human though she is able to play the part.]

I'm not sure. I remember flowers but- [a beat] -nothing else.

[Flowers isn't a useful clue to her missing memories with the white fluffy snow covering the ground. Light purple eyes look up at Sidon as she continues.]

How long have you been here?

[Dark purple eyes look up at the young man as the snow slips through her fingers.]

Is it always this cold?

[Terra is attuned to fire and, while she isn't wearing a lot, the snow has never bothered her.]

[Terra spreads her fingers and watches as the snow drifts away. She doesn't know what she's looking for and yet it feels like the answer is somehow there, teasing at the edge of her thoughts.

Flowers. She remembers flowers, not snow. It's all wrong somehow.

Her head turns at the sound of the voice, light purple eyes staring at the man who had stepped forward. She doesn't appear startled or worried about Roy, only curious and lost.]

Questions?

[Her voice is light and sweet.]

Do you know who I am?

[ Noah's inflicted amnesia before. Those affected by that magic seem to fill in the gaps made by their own minds, though a contradiction still might jar them. But she's never seen a natural occurrence. ]

You seem like you've seen this before.

Flowers, you say.... hm... that doesn't ring any bells for me. Are you recovering from amnesia? Ah, what is your name? Where are you from?

[answer them questions!]

I have been here about a month now, not very long indeed.

[His sky blue eyes watched carefully, as if it was nothing. He's sort of used to abnormal things anyway.]

For normal people.

[Which he also spoke of himself.]

I take it you just arrived.

[Chiaki was trying to figure out what her next move in this world would be/ After all she had nothing to go home too so all she had was being here. But the more the young girl thought about it the more she didn't know how to help. She wanted to, but what could she do in order to be of some use. Bring happiness to people or at least bring hope if possible.

All of these thoughts were crossing her mind before she found herself spotting someone who must have just come out of the Bay. That could at least be the start, right? Greet new arrivals and trying her best to help. It was a good first step anyway. Walking on over Chiaki put on her brightest smile.]

Hello there. You must be feeling cold right, we should get you into a building as soon as possible, maybe get you a drink and maybe find you a change of clothes... I mean... If that is what you want anyway?

[Terra nods her head slowly before turning to look around the city.]

I've to so many places... maybe I'm just imaging it.

[It's hard for her to know, one way or the other.]

Have you been here very long?

I am Terra Branford.

[She pauses as a look of uncertainty pulls over her features.]

I'm not sure where I'm from. [It has nothing to do with her memory, only that she'd been take by the Empire as a child and, while she knows that she's part Espar, she doesn't know where she'd been born or very much about her parents.]

I will wait for the snow to melt. Maybe in the spring I can find the flowers that I remember.

I believe so, yes.

[She nods her head softly before looking down at the snow. She is fairly sure she's been here before but she doesn't remember snow being here.

It's odd.]

I'm not very cold but if I wanted to go inside, where would I go?

[Terra isn't sure what he had meant when he had said that he would have remembered her. She doesn't remember him. She doesn't remember anything... so why would he remember her.

She looks down at her hands as if they were somehow marked and then back over towards the strange man.]

I didn't think about it.

[She admits in a soft sweet tone.]

I suppose I should find somewhere to sleep.

No.

[ A pause. ]

Unless a month counts as 'long'.

Now that I think about it, I also sense some sort of magic coming from you. That might explain why the chill doesn't bother you.

[Terra turns a pair of dark purple eyes towards Chiaki as she spoke. At first, she's confused. 'Inside? And something to drink?' It sounds reasonable and yet the words confuse Terra.

Everything feels so familiar.

She slowly raises to her feet, dusting the snow from her palms and fingers before lifting up the box that she'd awoke with. She doesn't know what it is, she hasn't looked inside, but it feels important nonetheless.]

What I want?

[Terra sounds very confused by that statement.]

I am a little hungry.

[It takes her a little too long to realize that she's hungry. She still remembers eating when she's supposed to and wearing what she'd been given. Terra is slowly remembering what it feels like to have a choice.]

[A month might be a long time but Terra isn't aware of what the base of comparison is. Compared to a day, a month is rather long.]

Yes.

[Terra stretches out her hand and calls a small flame too it. It's a part of her and as fuzzy as her memories are it's something that she hasn't forgotten. There is a moment where her powers fluctuate and the flame instantly goes out as Terra tries to hold back the sudden surge.

She doesn't remember how she'd managed her control before.]

[ It's fascinating meeting other magic users. From her slightly distorted memories, even those on Rabi Rabi island never quite use magic the same way. She figured straight, regular fire magic like she was witnessing existed, but the only user she knew commanded the flames through dance. Noah could imitate her, if she so desired.

As a matter of fact, she attempted to. She rose a hand, and a much shakier, smaller flame appeared within it. A weaker, but still accurate imitation, a reflection of study rather than any attempt to show off.

She didn't catch Terra's trouble over her control, however. ]

Your magic comes to you by instinct? Or did you learn it somewhere?

[ Both of those might be a possible answer. ]

If you're in a hurry, to your temporary apartment.

[He watches her reaction, then looks back to see what's behind them, any establishments.]

If not, there are some small shops and cafes to kill some time. Again, it's all really up to you.

Then we should go to one of the many places to eat, though I can't say I know if you have a preference or if you want me to pick randomly?

[Because that was important to her, she didn't want to take the other somewhere she might not like.]
