I read there was a beauty pageant coming up. Now this is my kind of thing, I mean after all... [She smiles, running fingers through her hair.] Beauty is one thing I have in spades. [She gives a little wink.] But that isn't why I'm using this, no it's for another cause.

On June 30th it will be someone's birthday. Someone who is very important to me, so I want to throw her a surprise birthday party. But I'll need your help because I can't do everything alone. Things like an actual place to throw the party, cake and things like that. I mean I can set things out, I just need help finding everything on my list.

Oh, and your all invited too, of course I'm sure she would love to get to know more people here.

[She pauses for a moment.] Rei-chan, you have no choice in the matter, you will be helping, okay? [She looks rather seruious as she says that.]

Why wouldn't I help? Usagi-chan is important to me!

Hmn, the 30th? Well.. I do believe that our cafe should be open by then. It should be no trouble at all to close for a party!

Usagi...I don't think I've ever met her. But I'm sure any friend of yours is great, Minako, I'd love to help plan a party for her!

Because it means you'll be doing most of the actual work on the day. [That was the catch. Minako already planned on being the one to distract Usagi on the actual day while things get set up.]

After all someone has to distract Usagi-chan for a bit and I'm good enough for that job. Until then I'm happy to search for things, but if you can give me any ideas you think might work, I'll be happy to hear them.

Would it mean I owe you two things now if it does happen?

I'm sure if you haven't, you will do eventually and it may be sooner than you think, especially if your around food. [That's not a bad thing, to be honest she eats like Usagi too sometimes.]

I cook most of the time, so I'd be able to help bake a cake. And with the decorations, since I'm into art!

Considering it's a surprise party, someone has to keep Usagi-chan away from the even until the allotted time. [She is trying to look as serious as she can right about now and maybe for a moment she might be.]

I am taking this rather seriously though, I'm the one whose finding the place the gathering the things together for it, which will be a lot of running and hard work. All you would need to do is just put things up on the day.

[Sounds simple, heck she is even going to find someone to make a special cake in shape of a rabbit on the moon....Get it?]

Though, I would like to see what ideas you might have though.

That's good, I think I've cleaned enough for a lifetime thank you, but I will win that beauty pageant, it is my destiny to.

[She wouldn't be a very good soldier of love and beauty now would she if she lost.] But do we want to wager on my victory, because I'm that confident?

Yeah, it's something where there are certain stages and it's judge based on looks, grace, style and how you answer questions.

I figured that to be true. [Though in her mind Usagi would probably beat them both hands down, but that's mostly because she is her Queen and partly because she does thing that Usagi does have some grace....sometimes.]

And who is it that you decided to coach then? Though how would me winning be considered a win for you?

[Kodachi never made an effort to meet Usagi.. Or any of Minako's friends for that matter- For now she seems to be content with the blonde and Orihime to associate with.]

Ah! Well she is a lovely young lady by the name of Karla. In fact she's never even heard of a pageant! Could you even imagine! [She raises a hand to her neckline as she shakes her head. Truly dreaful! But then she smirks.] Because I am clever, my dear. You will see in due time, then praise my foresight~.

Shopping?! Of course, I had forgot I would need a few things, like swimming costumes and a beautiful dress.
