WHO: Emerald and Jaune
WHAT: Jaune is trying to catch the Sweet Tooth robber and Emerald just wants sweets. Things are quick to escalate.
WHEN: Midday, January 28th
WHERE: An Attleton bakery
WARNING: Major RWBY Volume 5 spoilers, blood and violence.
[Now that the elections were over, Jaune's life felt aimless and he had started neglecting himself again. He needed some fast cash. A Level 1 bounty didn't sound too demanding, and it would keep him busy and his mind off of the network, what had happened here and what he had learned at the Dream Docks.
Naturally, that meant the world was out to prove him wrong. Stepping inside the bakery, he was instantly greeted with the warm wafting scents of fresh bread and sweets, filtered by beams of sunlight to wrap him up in a pleasant, quaint moment.
The moment was ruined. Trying to catch the door before that annoying bell that all business owners insisted on having to alert them of new customers, Jaune froze when he caught sight of one of the people he was very deliberately ignoring. His last memory of her hadn't been a good one, and he didn't want to be the one to give her the news.]
