Throughout Genessia City - Action
(Teleportation was certainly something with which Khadgar was familiar, but never one he hadn't either initiated or at least been aware of, and never one in which he ended up in a metal coffin with currency, a key to a room, and a gift of jewelry. He was pleased, at least, as he stepped out of the coffin in the shallow pool with a muttering of "curious", to see that the greatstaff, Atiesh, a simple wooden staff with a raven carved atop it, had come with him, and he stooped, the box under one arm, and retrieved the weapon. In the hands of a nonmage, it would be nothing, of course, but in his hands, well, he'd see what this place had in store. Things back home were culminating, of course, and he had no way of knowing if this was some sort of demonic trick or not, but it required investigation regardless.
He wasn't startled by the hologram of Weiss, though he looked a little put off by her explanation as he pocketed the maps she indicated in the large bag at his hip along with the contents of the box he'd arrived with. He'd have a look at this "Commonspace" eventually, but first, well, the best way to get a look at a new place was from the sky, after all. He slipped the necklace he's been provided around his neck, having quite a bit of experience with such magical keys, and then willed a bit of swirling silver energy into the staff. The mists swirled and gathered around him and, in his place, was an overly-large black raven that flew off to get a better view of the surroundings.
He would land in the park, near the fountain, or on a bench to rest, or on a windowsill, or a fire escape, marveling at the strangeness of the place.
OOC: You are free to run into the raven pretty much anywhere. He's a big raven. He sort of stands out, and he can actually talk in that form, so there's that. Also, he's totally willing to change back. He's hella interested in this place.)
Video
(When the feed initializes, it's clear he's been playing with the device before he actually starts to use it. There are cameras of a fashion in Azeroth, of course, but nothing like this! At least, though, the network is afforded a man who appears to be in his late 50s, with silver hair and a pleasantly amicable expression.)
Greetings...Genessia? I think that's how I should address the lot of you. I've performed one on one transference before, but never anything like this! It's remarkable!
(He takes a breath, and for a moment has an expression one typically gets when they hear someone else's voice, the voice of reason, scolding them.)
But that really isn't what's important at the moment, now is it? As I was alone in the Bay when I arrived, I can only assume all of you have been here long than I have. That would insist you know something more about this place than I do. Before I go rambling off questions at you, though, I have a few of my own. Do any of you recognize me? My name is Khadgar, and I am an Archmage of the Kirin Tor of the city of Dalaran, an independent city-state on the world of Azeroth. Do any of those names ring any bells? I'm just trying to find a starting point, and then we can proceed.
(He gives the camera a smile and inclines his head.)
Thank you for your time.
