[So Mercy doesn't particularly get to celebrate the holiday very often due to always being busy, but she does enjoy Valentine's Day when she can. So living up to her angelic persona for a little while (outside of her heals), she's decided to dress up for the occasion with a short red dress with an open back. Whether she's had them all this time or not, she'll have what looks to be prosthetic back pieces to put on or take off her wings with ease. Thankfully, she's managed to develop something to make it easier for her to act when needed without the worries of how to put her wings on while in a hurry. The wings in question resemble those in the picture. For the sake of the outfit, she may have gotten ideas from her Christmas ball heels.]

Hello everyone~ Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I decided to dress up a little for it. I know it's early, but I had an idea.

[So showing her simple bow with an arrow with a heart at the end of it...]

I can't be cupid per se, but it would be a fun idea to send love letters to people with it. If anyone is interested in the idea, I'd love to deliver your feelings for you. It can just be simple letters for platonic love as well, if that's preferred. Let me know!

A C T I O N; Valentine's Day 02/14

[Mercy is dressed the same as her video, but just as she suggested, she's going around delivering letters or presents to people who agreed to it. The rules are pretty simple. She has to know name, where she could more than likely find the person, what time works best, and if it was a present, it had to be small enough to carry on her. Chocolates/flowers are also acceptable, but she'd like to know that way she can deliver those with more care, especially if the present is more delicate or breakable.

So you may see her around in various places.]

[Because she is wearing a short enough dress and the whether is still a bit chilly, she does take occasional breaks to warm up again. She could wear a jacket, but she's opted not to for the sake of the outfit. It takes her a bit longer, but she did eventually deliver everything. If anyone happens to be around, you can find her in a nice little cafe getting herself some hot chocolate or coffee. Feel free to bug her.]

[Sure, Takeru doesn't celebrate the holiday the same as everyone else since he doesn't really need to do anything till next month, but he figured he might as well as he had things he wanted to say and this seemed like a nice idea.]

You said you do platonic letters as well right? I have a couple of requests if that is okay?

That's right. Just let me know who they are, where to find them more than likely, and I'll deliver them for you then.

Ah, the people who I want you to send them to are Mimi Tachikawa and Hikari Yagami, Most likely to find them...Depends on the day. Mimi has two jobs one of which takes her around many places in the cities and the other is a music store in Genessia I believe.

Hikari also moved around a lot because of her job as well. However, I do know where they'll both be on Valentine's Day itself and it's that festival in the evening.

It will take me a moment or two to actually write up and remember what I wanted to say.

[Hey it's your co-worker. Baymax seems puzzled, as much as he can be as he inquires,] What is a cupid?

[Angela hasn't been able to speak to Baymax much, but this is a good opportunity to do so.]

Oh, well Cupid is a figure that you see in mythology as a god of desire. He's portrayed as a a child with angel wings and a bow and arrow to spread love. It's said those hit with Cupid's arrow fall in love with the next person they see, although this is just one way to perceive it. I personally don't know too much about him myself since I haven't looked into him further than that, but he's a popular figurehead that's often used during Valentine's Day.

I will file that under "mythology" and "holidays". It is quite an interesting fact, thank you for telling me, Dr. Ziegler.

[His co-worker was so smart. Baymax bobbed once in gratitude.]

Hmm... I haven't really thought much about it. I suppose I probably could, but otherwise I'm letting the chips fall where they may.

Raising your endorphin levels seems to be the result of that day. I would prescribe it to many people, if they were having fun. There is also social interaction, which also brightens one's mood.

It is fun though, I agree. I suppose I could probably ask.

It would be, a source of happiness I would think. I plan on handing out candy that day, to help raise awareness of joy.

That sounds like it would be nice. I was going to deliver letters and gifts to people myself.

[Even in his world, the month of Feburary is willy known for amour. Augustine is not surprised to see all sorts of Valentine inspired advertisement scattered across town. In fact, he expects it since he's secretly a romantic at heart. It might have something to do with February being his birth month.

Nevertheless, Augustine was leisurely strolling down the street taking in all the festive décor when he spotted this young blond in naught else but a provocative scarlet dress adorned with lace and that charming wing accessory. She's suppose to be Cupid, yes? Or maybe Aphrodite, Cupid's mother. The woman's attire caught his attention because of his personal fondness for the color but also because she looks cold. Very cold. While doesn't doubt that her attire is because of the spirit of the holiday, Augustine cannot help but think her half mad to brave February's chill in that skimpy number.

As the alleged vampire strokes past, he quickly unbottoned his thick wool coat and drapes it across the blond's narrow shoulders. It's just as red as her dress, almost a bright cranberry kind of red but red nonetheless. It actually matches quite well despite being a tad large on her.]

Forgive me if this is too forward.

[Honestly, she considered that, but for the sake of the holiday she could put up with it. Now that her letters and gifts were delivered, she wouldn't have to do it for much longer at least. She wasn't quite expecting to have a coat draped over her, but it was warm. She turned to see who did it in surprise.]

O-Oh! Um, thanks. It's not really necessary though. [She would feel bad if someone give their coat to her after all.]

Think not of it as a gift but merely as a loan. [Augustine states as he smoothes down the front of his vest. Most of his attire under his coat is quite monotone. A black vest, a white shirt and various blacks and grays for the slacks and boots. The coat he offered her is the most colorful thing he owns.]

It would be a shame if Cupid was to fall ill. [He pauses momentarily as he eyes her.] Or are you suppose to be the Goddess of Love herself?

I can't tell but the dress is quite lovely.

Well, thank you. I'm not quite sure that I fall into either category, but I thought it would be nice to spread a bit of cheer during the holiday the best I can.

A noble deed considering how many folks seem to dread the approach of this holiday. [He chuckles quietly as he thinks of some of the posts he spied on the network earlier.] The general census is that Cupid is going to make his grand appearance and turn us all into lovestruck buffoons.

[She laughed lightly to that sentiment.]

[The fretful citizens of Genessia are in luck! "Cupid" here can't wield a bow. That means all is well, doesn't it? Of course not but Augustine will push aside that silly thought.]

If you need any help with your deliveries, I offer my assistance out of boredom if nothing else. I've been wandering for hours now and I fear I won't stop anytime soon.

Only if you want to. I don't mind doing it myself, otherwise. Although, I've been using my wings to get me to place to place quicker.

Ah, well they're not technically real, but prosthetics have come a long way in my world. They do work though.

[Just to show, she'll float a little and twirl around before touching ground again. Showing where they connected on her back.]

I actually use them for work as well, since it comes in handy on the battle field; Though, thankfully there isn't one here.

[That little demostration wins a slight gasp of surprise. Those wings truly do work, don't they? Augustine quietly observes Angela with a small hint of wonder in his gaze.]

The ingenuity of humankind is truly second to none. [He mutters under his breath as he watches Angela with interest renewed.] Color me impressed, Miss Ziegler.

[He's not going to mention his set of white wings that he keeps concealed. Well, techincally they're not his but rather belongs to the beast lurking within him but that's besides the point.]

Such excellent craftsmanship. I take it you created these yourself.

I suppose it's different between different worlds. My world is pretty advanced at this point. My prosthetics are pretty simple compared to a few other people I know.

I did, but I had a bit of help from a friend with the first set of wings that are on my Valkyrie Suit for fast response times. These ones [Making them flair out for a moment] are a bit different, meant to be more accessible to put on and take off as needed. Small corridors get to be very difficult to navigate with them on otherwise.

And this is all "science", yes? All technology and not a hint of sorcery?

[In his world, technology and magic goes hand-in-hand but with a strong emphasis in magic being considered the greater of the two. That's why he seems so surprised to see that science can achieve something as wondrous as this alone.

Augustine is very curious.]

Impressive. [He says with such cheerful intrigue.] Despite their slight flaw in size, I do believe your wings are rather well made nonetheless but what sort of energy do they use? Fuel?

[Once they reach the café, Augustine quickly opens the door for Angela with a gentlemanly smile.]

I deal with mostly nanotechnology to be exact, but yes. Although they're connected to my nervous system, or rather the prosthetic is. That makes it a lot easier to get by since it's just like having a prosthetic arm that moves the way a normal hand would, if this example makes sense.

[Thanking him for the door, she headed inside. They soon found a table.]

It at least gets the job done.

Nanotechnology? Ah, I'm familiar with the Latin origins of that word but not the technology itself.

[He waits for them to get a table first before continuing further. Of course, he would pick to sit by the window. He quite likes gazing out windows from time to time. Maybe it has something to do with his slight voyeuristic nature and his uncanny love for sunlight. Although, this might be a bad decision upon his part since he can feel Astaroth's shadow stir a little.

The beast within doesn't share his fondness for light.]

So you control every movement of your wings by your nerves and muscles? That is truly unique, Miss Ziegler. The technology of your world speaks volumes.

[He gives a truly astounded grin before glancing down at the menu upon the table. This is a quaint little café, seemingly small but roomy enough. Quite comely and hospitable.]

Do you have the taste for something in particular? I'm partial to rose tea.

That's right. Although, it's possible for it to malfunction from time to time, so it's not infallible, but it doesn't happen very often.

I'm not really the biggest tea drinker, so I don't know many flavors; I don't mind it though. Do you have any suggestions?

[Augustine is seriously going to have to pick the good doctor's brilliant mind to understand more about this brand of technology. He's insanely curious about nanotechnology and already fantasizing how he could possibly merge that with his magic. Just the thought alone has him thinking.

Is it possible? He hopes so.]

Ah, a coffee drinker then? [He's teasing but he honestly can't stand coffee.] Then how about something classic for us both?

Earl Grey is a deliciously fragrant black tea. You might like it.

Mostly. It tends to be a doctor's best friend when you have to work long shifts after all. [To each their own, she supposes.] That sounds great.
