You know, with all of this talk about Valentine's Day, it sure makes you a bit annoyed. [At least it does her] I guess I don't really celebrate it myself, but for anyone who feels like they have to have someone special for the holiday to enjoy it... Stop.
You don't need to worry about that. If you do, that's great, but if not, don't sweat it! I'm all for the idea of it, but I've been single my whole life and there's nothing wrong with that. [It doesn't help she became a hermit for several years though.] As long as I have people who I care about with me and by my side, that's enough for me. If nothing, if you really care about someone in that way, you should show how you feel everyday, rather than just one particular day.
The bottom line here is, don't get so depressed if you're single and live a little! If you'd like a date for Valentine's Day, go find someone! Meet someone new if you have to. If you're content on your own, how about we celebrate being single and independent instead and have a little fun with it. Over all, just spend your time with people you care about and have a good holiday.
[All of this would probably mean more if she wasn't a hermit and wasn't indifferent to the holiday, but look... she tried.]
A C T I O N; Valentine's Day 02/14
[And despite the message she sent days before, she's somehow standing in front of Seth's apartment door with a simple white box with a red bow of assorted chocolates. They're obviously store bought because it didn't dawn on her to just make the chocolate herself and even if it did, she wouldn't be capable of doing so. Never mind the fact that this was all a last minute thing and now she's sort of regretting her choice to do this.
Why was she doing this in the first place? Oh man. She was in over her head. Cheeks flushed and hand balled up in a fist to knock on his door, she stopped before it.]
Maybe I shouldn't do this...? No, no... You came all this way, just... knock on the door.
[No matter how determined she was, she also seemed very conflicted as she hesitated.]
No.. No.....This was a bad idea... I shouldn't be doing this. I... It would be better if I just left.
[And just like that she was already turning to leave, hoping not to be noticed. Although thinking out loud probably didn't help, no matter how quiet it was. She hadn't even noticed.]
C A T C H - A L L; PICK YOUR POISON
[If anyone else wants to thread with here, feel free to choose your own adventure. Her household will also be getting small chocolates from her as a platonic gift because why not.]

[Though he usually sees them in person.]
You'll have to teach me more about it.
no subject
[Because porn she can't teach you. Hacking is probably not likely. Pirating movies though? She could do that.]

[He's really not picky and he's asking her because he wants her view points on it.]
But maybe after the movie.

[She's fine with showing him that for sure, but the movie takes priority anyways. Well, as much as it can; She's already missed part of it with talking to him, but she doesn't mind that at all. In fact, she might be a bit closer to him than she was previously without realizing it after setting down her coffee and readjusting.]

[She wasn't expecting to be pulled towards him, so her cheeks flushed a bright red as a result, but she's... not complaining. She'll just let out a small sigh and get comfortable as she cuddled close to him to watch the movie. There wasn't much said for a bit, but this was a movie and... she didn't feel like anything needed to be said in this moment.]

He focuses on the movie and lets the moment linger, committing it to memory.
Words ruin so many moments.]

Woah, the action in that was crazy! I wonder what it would be like to actually do that stuff?

I imagine it's fun. I once heard that Allen Rickman had trouble looking surprised when they did that shoot with him falling off the building. So they told him that they were going to let on on three but then let go on two so he's actually surprised that he's falling.
[He's watched the movie with commentary before.]

[She's obviously joking.]

Is that your way of saying that I'm boring you?
[His voice is light and warm, teasing her in return.]
