Stepping out of the Dream Docks, Lucky stretched and looked up at the sky with a faint smile.

They'd won, just like he knew they would.

Granted it was a doozy of a final few weeks or so, what with losing his dad on Southern Cross, then Tsurugi and the Commander at the same time....and then getting the two of them back along with everything else, but they'd still come through in the end.

Now, time to head over to Tsukasa's and pick Caesar up.

As for Tsukasa's side of things, he had been taking care of Ceasar all this time like he had been asked to do.

It wasn't like it was a difficult job or anything, though the little thing seemed to like to get into the cupboards and jump out at him.

The door was habitually unlocked for customers as well.

"Hey Tsukasa!" Lucky called as he stepped inside. "You home?"

Even if his friend wasn't, the high pitched growl from the kitchen indicated that Caesar was...and sure enough, there was a small red and silver blur that practically attached itself to his shirt. Lucky laughed softly and gave him a pat. "You been good for Tsukasa?" he asked quietly.

It wasn't long till Tsukasa came out of the dark room in the back of the building. "Oi Lucky, you're back," he greeted.

"How's the snooze?" he inquired curiously.

"It was good."

Lucky laughed a little as Caesar perched on his head before he spoke.

"We kicked Don Armage's butt, just like I knew we would, but..."

Glancing out the nearest window he sighed a bit. "For a bit, I didn't think we'd all make it..."

"That's good. Things usually turn out for the best when you're determined," replied Tsukasa as he went over to the coffee pot and started setting up for a hot drink.

"Want some coffee? It's cold outside."

"Yeah sure," Lucky said in response to the coffee question, finding a place to sit for the moment.

"Caesar did behave for you right?"

"He has a habit of jumping out of cupboards but other than that, well behaved," replied Tsukasa as he began to made some coffee, the hot water pouring through the filter.
