Chocolate Making! -backdated to Monday
Who: The Digi-girls and any ladies that want to join them in the tiny apartment!
What: Making chocolates for the boys in their lives!
When: Monday mid-day, February 12
Where: Grocery store, the apartmentNO TAKERU ALLOWED GET OUT
Warnings: Teenage girl talk. ...and it's Mimi, I mean seriously.
Starting at the grocery store, Mimi was throwing all kinds of chocolate making supplies into her cart. She had been literally saving for this, and her excitement was showing as she danced and hummed to herself while throwing ingredients into the cart.
In fact, she wasn't really paying attention to where the cart was going, and it's very possible she has been narrowly missing people, so it was going to inevitable that she would eventually run into someone.
It would be even better, in her humble opinion, if she ran into more girls looking to make chocolate for the ones they loved! More chocolates for alllll the boys! Best plan ever!
She even had candy thermometers, and fancy molds in different shapes. There were boxes, tins, and lots of red and pink ribbons. This was going to be so much fun!
Her mind started to wander to two places: how Takeru will react to Hikari giving him her chocolates in private because IT'S A SECRET LOVE THAT EVEN THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT! And the second, caused a small blush as she thought about the reaction to the chocolates she was going to give to her date on Valentine's Day. That was exciting too!
Seriously, she wasn't paying attention in the grocery store. This probably isn't safe.

"Ouch! Look where you're going!" she said in reaction, rubbing her side that got hit.

Mimi stopped and went to tend to the other girl, looking her over.
"I really didn't mean to, I guess I was just too preoccupied-" She stopped and smiled, "I really LOVE your glasses by the way. They look really cute on you!"
no subject
And then she was taken aback back her next statement, "I- O-Oh! Uhm.. Th-thank you?" She was not good at dealing with compliments.
no subject
"I really am sorry- I wasn't paying attention. I was actually getting things to make chocolates for my friends- and well, my date," a light blush came across her cheeks as she said it, but went right back to what she was saying. "Do you have anyone you're giving chocolates to this Valentine's Day?"
Not everyone celebrates like they do in Japan, Mimi, stop assuming.
no subject
"Oh, I see," she replied simply before catching the last bit, "W-Well.. Uh... N-not particularly.." She definitely wasn't thinking of giving Seth something....
Not at all.
no subject
"From the sound of it, you don't seem so sure~." She gasped, then took one of the other girl's hands in both of her own. "I know! Fate has brought us together!" She smiled bright.
"You're joining me for chocolate making and I won't take no for an answer! Doctor Mimi's orders!" She finally let go of her hands. "What's your name anyway?"

The young girl just happened to be at that very same grocery store. With a similar goal in mind, judging from the ingredients in her small basket. Unlike Mimi, however, her full intention was to make chocolates...well, yes, for someone she loved, but very much as a friend. Because that's who Takeru was. Her best friend. Who was there for her when she needed him most quite often, and thus absolutely deserved some homemade sweets for Valentine's.
Vanilla extra had been next on her list, when she caught sight of Mimi driving dangerously close to her. Apparently oblivious as she seemed lost in thought about who even knew what?
So Hikari smiled and deliberately moved out of the way before calling: "Hello, Mimi. I didn't know you would be here."
no subject
"Ohhh are you making chocolates for Takeru~?"
Nevermind the fact that Mimi was going to make chocolates for him too, because all of her friends would normally be getting some sweets, but why pass up an opportunity to tease Hikari?
no subject
To Hikari’s credit, she didn’t bat an eyelash. Merely nodded. Confident in her decision, and also half expecting the teasing. Maybe it would have affected her more if there was something to tease, but in her mind, chocolates were not that thing.
“He is my best friend. I usually make a few for the others...” Including Taichi. “...but since he’s the only one I know here, I won’t have to make that many.”
no subject
She still had that glint in her eye, but she figured she would try again later, instead opting to smile bright.
"I'm making some too! And some extras for some of the new people I met here... and a special batch for Ryuji since I've never had someone I actually like like on Valentine's Day."
no subject
"Oh, is Ruyji the name of the person you were going on your date with?" A convenient change of subject which enabled her to completely ignore just how special her own chocolates would or wouldn't be.
no subject
"Yep! He's super cute and really sweet... I mean, he has a mouth on him, but it kind of adds to his charm. I can't wait to meet him in person!"
She searched her cart more for anything else.
"Oh! I almost forgot the vanilla too! We'll totally make this into a girl-time party! I'm sure I can find a few others who want to make chocolates for the people they like."
no subject
Spoken with the barest hint of mischief behind it. She didn’t question how Mimi could wind up on a date with someone without meeting them in person—the network here was like a cross between internet and phone system, and she’d perused it enough herself to see the conversations that took place.
“A chocolate making party could be fun. Who else were you thinking of inviting?”
no subject
So for the time being she was looking around to see what she could add to maybe improve it. Maybe she should add a flavor? But what would be the best thing? As she took a step back, trying to ponder this problem she felt the light tap of a cart hitting her leg.
It was enough to cause the woman to look over slightly. "You should really be careful with that thing, it could hurt someone."
no subject
"By the way, I absolutely love those earrings! I wish I had the nerve to pierce my ears more than once."
And then she noticed the items in her cart. Sorry Winry.
"Oh! Are you making chocolates too? I'm making some for my friends as soon as I get home. Are they for someone special?"
Mimi... you can't just ask a stranger if they're making chocolates for someone special. That's sometimes personal! Of course, Mimi DID look honestly interested.
no subject
Winry paused for a moment before moving her hand to her ears, lightly touching them. "Ah, thank you. Though why don't you have the nerve? Though I guess I should ask what stops you if it's something you wanted?"
She nodded slightly, looking at the cart, that much seemed obvious anyway. "No, mostly friends." And one person she did like, but they had an agreement that nothing will happen until after everything is sorted. She was pretty much sticking by that.
no subject
So she's on the hunt, not for chocolates, but for ingredients.
"Careful!" She didn't expect to have to dodge people, though!
no subject
Satisfied with her assessment after looking the other girl over, she smiled.
"I was kind of spacing out because I'm making chocolates for my friends for Valentine's Day. I got a little too excited."
no subject
Not a thing was out of place, so she doesn't mind.
no subject
"I'm Mimi by the way!" She smiled bright, "Are you doing anything special for someone on Valentine's Day?"
no subject
"Remilia Scarlet, nice to meet you." Well, there's a few people she has in mind for Valentine's. Satori and Sakuya especially. "I do have something in mind, yes. I'm planning on making chocolates."
