[Nora can be seen on the camera of her walkie-talkie, looking between it and the pamphlet. She's already put the necklace on, probably to keep track of it. There's plenty of wind and rain, but she's doing her best to ignore it.]

I guess I'm not in Beacon anymore... [A pause.]

Anyone know a good place to get out of this rain? [She starts walking, and you can tell she's still in the bay by the water sloshing you might be able to hear.]

[Jaune was making sure his windows were shut tight during the storm, only to hear a familiar voice from his phone. He's so quick to pull his phone out that he nearly drops it - three times.]

Nora! Nora is that you?! [Jaune's surprised face would appear on her phone's screen.] What the heck are you doing out there? You're gonna blow away! Did you just wake up at the bay? Hang on, I'll come get you and bring you to my place - you just can't be out in weather like this.

[Blink, blink, blink]

Jaune?! You're here too?

Yeah, I did just wake up here...I think anyway! I'll wait here, unless the storm blows me away!

[Aaaaand he's off! Stumbling over his coffee table, Jaune's pulling his hood up over his head. (What?! He never does that!)]

Karina I'm going out! [He yells to his impromptu room mate (see: couch crasher) before barrelling out the door.] And you just hang tight Nora!

[The elevator ride is way too long, and as he practically busts through the front doors of the apartment building at Tupelo Alley, he's out in the storm.]

Okay, I'm on my... Whoa~ [He sways, wobbling as a strong gust of wind picks up and slides his shoes along the wet sidewalk a bit.] Er, I'm on m-- wha! [Again, a strong wind, though strong enough this time to knock him over and tumble him down the street.] I'M ON MY WAAAAAAaaaaaaaayyy...!

[The video feed cuts out.]

Ok!

[If Nora weren't so concerned by the fact that he just did a great impression of a tumbleweed, she'd probably be laughing right now.]

I'll wait here...and hopefully you caught that! [She's holed up behind some wall somewhere, just to try to stay out of that wind.]

[Oh don't worry! Compared to Cardin, tumbling through the streets in a typhoon was pretty tame! Jaune's goofy bumping and stumbling through the wind-storm is almost artistic. Not Mama Mia! artistic, more Three Stooges.]

[He does make it to her eventually.]

NononononononoNONONO!

[CLANG! That's his back hitting a street lamp just a few feet from her.] G'oh my back...! @_@ [Blink, blink.] Nora! I found you!

[Nora peers out from her hiding place, looking towards where she heard that clang and Jaune's voice. When she sees him, she comes running out.]

You did!

...

Are you okay?...You shouldn't use street lamps as brakes.

Y-Yeah! Oh yeah I'm fine...! [Wince]

Urk... Let's get you back...! [Pushing off the post, he takes Nora's hand and starts to walk with her - what an uphill battle that is.] So welcome to Genessia! You picked a GREAT day to get here!

You don't sound fine... [But she'll let it do for now. She takes his hand and walks with him, fighting against the wind.]

So I did! How long is this storm supposed to last?

Alllll day! [Jaune sheds a sheepish smile.] So when we get back, we'll probably have to spend all day inside... But that's okay though! Blake, Yang and Ruby all live in the same building as me, so you can see them too.

Inside is warm, right? Better than this. Although, the rain is probably good for something!

[!]

I was wondering where they live, I was talking to Yang earlier. It's going to be an awesome party!

Yeah!-- Er, wait... [That's right. THINGS happened. Things Nora should know about.] Well, hold on there... Whoa!

[A strong gust of wind and Jaune shields his face with his arm while holding tightly to Nora. Once it passes, they trek forward still.] Nora, something... happened to Ruby. She's okay, but... I don't think she's in the mood to have a party.

[That happy-go-lucky Nora? Yeah, just replaced by going-to-kill-something Nora.]

What?! [She reaches behind her towards Magnhild.] Ok. Who do I need to smash?

[Jaune THOUGHT Nora had gone too long without getting antsy to smash something. Good to see some people never change.]

Whoa, whoa, take it easy! That's just it, we don't know who to smash. I'll tell you all about it.

[So as they marched like little soldiers through the city Jaune let Nora in on everything he knew. Ruby was kidnapped, trapped underground, by some guy who just called himself M. He never revealed himself, and only sent text messages to everyone's phones. He seemed to know what everyone was doing at all times, too. Ruby almost drowned, but was saved. Now she's at home with the nastiest cold anyone could have ever gotten... ever.]

[By the time he was finished, they'd dragged themselves to Tupelo Ally - to Jaune's home.]

We made it! [He steps in the door and holds it open for Nora from the inside. Now they were indoors at least - just soaking wet.]

So... You can stay at my place as long as you want. We'll get you set up with a bed and everything! Juuuust as soon as the weather stops being crazy.

When we figure out who this guy is, I call dibs on smashing...after Ruby gets a turn. [She'd fight the rest of them on it. Really.]

Yay! [She steps inside, dripping on the floor, but ignoring that as much as possible.] Yang said she might have some clothes I can borrow for now too!

Ha, right. Well that seems fair.

[He nods to Nora.] There're laundry machines around here, we can totally wash and dry your clothes. You go ahead and see what you can get from Yang, I'll see if everything's ready at my place for you. [He pushes the button for the 4th floor on the elevator, and steps inside with her. Once the elevator reaches the fourth story, he steps out and gestures down the hall.] Theirs is 402 right next to the elevator here. Mine's 406, way at the end. Okay?

Okay! [There's a salute before she goes wandering down the hall, leaving puddles as footsteps as she goes.]

Be back in a bit!

[Now THIS is a bright spot to an otherwise horrible weekend. Yang straightens as soon as she sees who else is caught out in this horrific weather.]

Nora!

[She pulls back, grinning from ear to ear and shouting at someone else out of view.]

RUBY! BLAKE! NORA JUST SHOWED UP!

[Yang turns back to the girl, just beaming.]

Sorry about the crummy weather! I'll make sure Jaune heads out to pick you up.

[He's probably going out there anyway.]

Yang? You're here too? [She pauses when Yang starts to shout to the others.] And Blake and Ruby?!

This is going to be a great party! Well, once I get indoors!

As for Jaune, I think he's on his way!

Atta boy! That's what a leader should do.

[Yang's eyes light up. Oooo, a party. That sounds SO good right now! She's not sure if Ruby's up for it, but who knows? Could be a fun distraction!]

I'll let you borrow some of my clothes so you have something dry to change into.

He'll probably be here soon.

[Nora smiles.]

Thank you! I'm sure I'm going to be soaked by the time I make it somewhere.

We'll be waiting! Cocoa's your favorite, right?

[With lots of marshmallows, Yang's willing to bet.]
