action, 14th to 16th
[ If you are going to say that Qrow Branwen is not having a good Valentine's Day... that would be an understatement.
Between the frustrations of his color-changing hair and catching a bad case of NPH Diseaseaka your very own personal musical episode from hell he's ready to just drink himself into a stupor until it's all passed by.
Restlessness doesn't suit Qrow, though, and so he can be found out and about in these days, usually flitting about Genessia and Fayren, often wearing ridiculously large hats to hide his hair.
More importantly than the hair, he keeps breaking out into song without warning. Sometimes just singing a tune he can't remember having heard before, sometimes downright belting out his feelings in verses so bad they would make a songwriter cry.
Or you could run into a very upset crow - a crow in all kinds of colorful hues, for when Qrow transforms? Then all his gorgeous black plumage is changing colors. ]
Night from the 15th to the 16th, Raven's camp
[ Qrow's been making some terrible decisions over the last couple of days but seeking out his sister when he can't even keep his own beak shut? Definitely one of the worse ones. Somewhere between feeling miserable and kicked by life once too often his drunken brain had decided that tracking down Raven and giving her a piece of his mind would be a good idea.
Sobering up (somewhat) during his search for her might have made him realize this is a bad idea but not enough to abandon the plan. No. He will finally get this over with. Whatever may come.
And thus, around 3 a.m. in the morning, Raven will find the most annoying symphony of caw caw shrieked at the top of his tiny bird lungs. Him being a dingy yellow from his face feathers to the tip of his tail.
This bird may have taken a calculated risk but you can bet he's bad at math. ]

[Winter's camp is modest. While she could certainly summon an Ursa to carry her belongings, they're not exactly subtle given how they GLOW, and she's aiming for stealth in her search for the missing royal family.]
[She's nearly finished eating a tin of potatoes and clumps of frozen sauce when she hears someone's voice carried on the breeze. Someone who sounds drunk. Who else would be singing like that, at this time of night, and in this place of places? Alcohol to warm the body isn't unheard of, but she's suspicious nonetheless.]
[Setting aside her dinner, Winter rises smoothly to her feet and draws her rapier as she sets out to investigate the source of the caterwauling. Cresting a rocky ridge, she squints through the swirls of snow to see--]
Qrow.
[She practically spits the word. Of course she recognizes him. The question is, why is he here? Winter rises up from where she was crouched and sheaths her sword. When she speaks this time, she calls out loud enough to be heard.]
Explain yourself.
Feb 16th
Her eyes are changing colors without her consent and she isn't in tune with her emotions enough to know what color they were at all times. Luckily, they didn't shift often and, when they did, the color usually started as a stormy gray brightening to a dingy yellow. Enis's emotions don't range far and when they do she's usually just annoyed.
Annoyed happens to be how she feels when she hears Qrow belting some tune through the streets. She presses her thumb and and index finger to the bridge of her nose before searching for the source of the tune.]
Do you have to sing?
[Enis asks when he steps within ear shot. She recognizes him from a short conversation they had had over the phones but she hasn't seen him since. Good to know he's doing well and... wearing a rather large hat.]
Re: Feb 16th
He approaches her reluctantly, opens his mouth to explain... ]
I've been so many places
In my life and time
I've sung a lot of songs
I've made some bad rhymes
[ ...and he presses his lips together, scowling. Yes. Yes, he is still stuck singing. And with a silly hat, too. ]

He looks down at the bottle in his hand and gives it a mournful shake. Nearly empty. If he's going to face his sister while he can't keep breaking out into song he deserves a lot more than that. ]
Where are you now?
Where are you now?
Do you ever think of me
In the quiet, in the crowd?
[ He scowls, tensing, half of a mind to just take to wing and fly away. But it's taken him so long to find Winter, until he wasn't even really looking for her, and what's to say he will find her again tomorrow or the day after or whenever this is fixed?]
You were strangely less than pain
Than you were cold.
Triumphant in your mind
Of the logic that you hold.

Enough.
[Of course she's annoyed at being sung to in the middle of a snowy and desolate mountain. But beneath that, there's a trace of concern too. He was worried about her...? A stupid thing to do, he should know just how capable she is. This world is soft compared to Remnant. The environment isn't nearly as harsh, and the dangers not nearly as great. If anything, his checking up on her should be insulting.]
[And yet, she doesn't truly find herself offended. Perhaps it's because she remembers all too clearly what it was like to spend so many days together as closely united, trusting and respecting one another. It was under the enthrallment of the ice mage's magic, yes, but the experience isn't one she's likely to forget.]
[Winter releases a breath, her eyes closing for a moment. She didn't miss that small shake of his bottle. Elegantly she springs down the rocky ledge, in heels no less, to land in a light crouch in the snow before him.]
There are better ways to warm yourself. I'll build you a fire.
[She tucks her hands behind her back and lifts her chin as she turns about, leading the way back to her campsite. A melody is bubbling up in the back of her head, and she quickly squashes it down. There will be none of that foolishness from her, not with Qrow around to bear witness.]

You're stuck rhyming. [It is a statement more than a question.] Is that also why you're wearing that hat? [Enis knows that some weird stuff is going on but she's yet to run into someone who has it as bad as Qrow does.]
