[Guess who got bored and went to see what the ticket thing was about, it's her. Of course it's her.

But she, uh, might have also ended up with a second without meaning to. So that's fun. And why she's currently sitting on the floor of the apartment her and her brother share with an alola sandshrew asleep in her lap and a stufful just sitting not far away but otherwise remaining out of arm's length. Fun, that.]

So... this is new. Guess those tickets ended up being something actually interesting and not out to ruin everyone's lives, huh? Not quite sure what these creatures are exactly, but the one over there-[She's moving the camera to the stufful who is just raising a paw in a half-hearted weird wave of sorts before the camera is back on herself.] just sort of decided to follow me home instead.

I think the one in my lap has something to do with ice as it's slightly cold to the touch, but I'm not a great gauge for what is and isn't cold. [This was the woman that was out in a blizzard like it was nothing, after all.]

They're called Pokemon...apparently.

[Despite her awareness of the name, it still sounded almost as strange rolling off her tongue as it felt to her. Although, interestingly enough, it wasn't the latter syllable--the "mon"--she seemed to be struggling with so much as the first part.]

[As if it were a new variation of a familiar term.]

If it's cold, then that must mean its attacks are ice-based.

Has it said anything to you yet?

[Was it supposed to say something to her? She's raising a brow in question at that, seeming a little more inclined to call her crazy than she really should. But for now she's looking down at the sandshrew who is yawning and rolling around to lay on his back to blink up at her.

That's illegally adorable.]

Are they supposed to be saying things to me?

[That...was a good question, actually. If only for the 'supposed to' aspect.]

I'm...not sure.

Abra only knows how to say his name, which is how I knew what to call him. But sometimes he says it in different ways. Like if he's angry or pleased or annoyed at something. It's one way for me to tell how he's feeling.

They're quite cute, aren't they? And surprisingly friendly. I didn't expect such a pleasant surprise when those tickets arrived.

Do you think they have names?

[Names... As far as she knows, they're just some sort of odd animal that don't really have any way of telling you their names. She's also insanely bad at naming or nicknaming things, so the idea hadn't really crossed her mind just yet.]

It's a pleasant surprise from what I was thinking it might have been. And I would... assume the species has a name, but they're still animals as far as I can tell?

The week isn't over yet.

[He's not betting yet, just cautious. Looking good there sis. Meanwhile, there is probably a Riolu on the back of his shoulder going along for the ride. He paws the screen, and Seventeen brings the screen closer to the little guy.]

So that's what you ended up with? Not bad. And we might have another one coming home too.

[He glances off screen bemused.]

[As if he'd not get one if she did, she knows him well enough to not question this sort of thing. Evidently someone likes living up to their park ranger occupation, huh?

She's giving him the smallest hint of a smile, subtle as always with this sort of thing.]

For the time being. The stuffed toy looking one just followed me back. Not sure what they eat or need right now, but that should be easy to figure out with someone of your animal knowledge around, right? [There's a hint of her teasing him, but that's a given.]

[HUSH. So he became an animal lover.]

You mean you left over there without asking a simple question like that? [A hint of smile in return.]

Surprisingly a lot are herbivore creatures what I've gather. If anything, they make it seem like take care of a pet.

[yep, that is very message on this. Rapunzel herself had an Igglybuff dancing around in the background.]

I have never seen things like this before, but they seem very friendly.

[Cute isn't the word she was aiming for, but she's not going to deny that the term is appropriate, either. She's looking at that background for a moment, biting back a small smile to maintain a neutral and lax posture instead.]

They certainly do. I can't say I'm complaining about them, a little bit of company is always welcomed. [Other than her brother, he doesn't count.]

Agreed. I mean since I lost my roommate, it's been very lonely in my apartment.

[She had considered just moving back to her original one, but she has refrained for just in case anyone might be in need of a spare room and don't have a lot. So far she hadn't offered to anyone, but someday.]

So they are nice to have for that company and that might help people like that to, right?
