2nd Magatama | Video

[A very tired looking Demi-Fiend appears on the screen. In the background, one can see a Charmander attempting to fight a creature a tad bigger than it: the Black Frost. Rather than spout about evil, it seemed to be training the little guy, not even hitting him back. Naoki even looks back.]

Remember, don't hurt Char. Otherwise I'm punting you off one of these buildings.

[The demon just nods really fast; even with physical resistance, it knows just what Naoki could do. Naoki turns back to the camera.]

So yeah, got one of these too. Kinda reminds me of this fad back home that exists. Was gonna just leave since I already gotta take care of some demons, but I like the little guy. Keeps saying Charmander and Char, so I went with the latter.

[The little Charmander stops its training and waves at the camera, saying "Char Char" before moving back to swiping at Black Frost, still missing as the demon cheerfully dodged, chuckling at the attempts.]

Anyway, not what I wanted to fully draw attention too. I figured since I have been here a while, there's something everyone should know about me. If nothing else, I'll attract the evil religious nutjobs, and deal with you all soon enough. But I just wanna make sure there are no secrets between all of us.

[He takes a deep breath. Well he already told Zeref, Mavis, and Dante. How hard could this be now.]

I said I was a half-demon to many of you, but it's not from my folks being a demon or human. Rather, someone put a parasite inside of me called a Magatama, so my body shifted and changed into a half-demon, half-human hybrid just so he could see how I could survive in a world of demons thanks to the world ending. That much, many of you know. What ya don't know is who did it.

It was Lucifer, the same one from Christianity. The fallen angel, the morning star, the rebellious king of hell, whatever you want to call him. That was the Lucifer who gave me my abilities to survive and grow.

But in the end, I followed my own path thanks to help of my teacher and Dante. Err, the future Dante, not this one; let's not discuss timelines, my head hurts enough. I did save my world, and that's kinda I woke up pissy. I still don't know what happened to it, and when weird shit usually happens, I get assaulted by some asshole who doesn't know what they are getting into. Technically happened twice already.

[Pixie suddenly shows up in the camera. You Persona folks might start recognizing some of these demons...]

Although the second time really was the other guy's fault. My master just wants peace with the occasional bit of training. What's wrong with that?

What she said. Anyway, I said what I needed to say. I'm not comfortable answering all the questions about the Vortex World and what happened to me there, but I'll answer some if needed.

[Naoki shoots the Pixie a glare as she backs off a bit, turning the camera off soon enough.]

I wanna borrow some Devil Arms if possible. Got attacked by some vampire controlling a high-level Fiend, and I wanna be prepared in case he wants to go another round. Got any weapons with light magic?

[She locks it first while keeping her eyes on him. A sigh escapes keeping herself steady and calmly serious.]

Listen. I don't remember what happened after I went like... that. So whatever you did, you did it right.

[She yawns at the last part.]

I was about to kill you until my demons snapped me out of it. I even pierced you in the stomach.

And we were in a colosseum with no death penalty? [Yeah, she still didn't get that. And she doesn't seem to mind surprisingly.]

Honestly, did you forget.

That doesn't change the fact that I lost control though. I'm not....I'm not used to that...

[Just something snapping inside of him. Couldn't remember the last time that happened, if it all. He could attack in a blind rage, but pure murder?]

[She had enough of this already.]

Oh my God! Stop with the guilt trip and be relieved already! I am not pissed!

[Like that was convincing.]

[Oh god Naoki shut up.]

[Levi. Please. At least that stopped him. She tries to calm down. Ahem.]

But... if you want to make it up~ [She claps her hands together.] Take me out somewhere to eat.

[Well she was right about one thing: stop moping about this when she already forgave him. He could still worry about his abilities but not right now. Training could help with that later. At her next words though, he blinked.]

Um, okay. Where to?

[Bingo! Free food! She's such a pirate.]

Some place with a bar or something. How about that Nova City one.

[It wasn't a question.]

Fine but you are gonna have to give me directions or names. I haven't been to many places beyond wherever Dante orders pizza from.

Sounds like you follow him a lot. He's some kind of crush or something? Fine, I'll send you directions. It's not that hard to get there anyway.

More like an older brother. That and I was usually broke till recently.

[Better than his bounty hunting job, Levi.]

[Don't bring up the financial subject to Levi. Her head sinks between her shoulders with a pout hearing that last part. Oh well, at least she's getting something out of it. If anything, he could probably ask her questions, just as she plans to.]

Can't make promises. [Maybe not everything, but just enough.] It's called the After Life.

[He heads on over...and eyes widen at what was inside. Sheesh, he was gonna have to work on hunting bounties again at this rate. Well technically he always did but he had been slacking.]

Yeah I think I can kiss my money goodbye...

[Levi was already at the bar, but she was on the other side of the counter, as a barmaid actually. There was a Magbaby on the counter close to her as well holding an empty glass.

A guy was there, middle age men, quite built, pride on it, was there too and leaned over to the barmaid. Levi looked bemused, ignoring the guy. Then the guy reached out and grabbed her arm persisted. Levi gave a death glare.]

Sir, you better let go or you'll miss an arm.

[These Nova rich people...sheesh.]

[So she did have a job here. That kind got him a bit miffed, but he had to remember: apology first and foremost. Besides, he didn't want her to transform again.

So instead he grabs the man's arm a bit forcefully, causing him to let go of Levi.]

Look I don't have time to lecture you. I have a meeting with her.

[That did let him go of her. Magby sidnt seemed worried at least, baby Pokemon. The guy gave a grunt. Before he could say anything, Levi spoke.]

He's correct. Move or you'll be tossed out of here. My mood is growing ill.

[She had a temper reputation in her world... and he would be tossed, literally. She almost forgot not a lot know, yet. Thankfully the guy got the idea, shook his arm off Naoki and left. She let a sigh, her temper subdue.]

They believe they're something.

But in the end, they are all idiots.

[He takes a seat at the bar after that man is gone.]

So you didn't tell me you worked here too. Guessing they don't give you a discount or free lunch?

[She leans forward on the counter.]

You'd figure it out eventually. Besides, thought it be more fun to talk here while working and snacking of course.

[Okay, maybe she should had expected that. She didn't have a clue either when she arrived.]

These people comes up with strange and lewd names for drinks. First comes, first serves with names I suppose.

[She goes ahead and starts making it.]

I don't believe we properly introduced ourselves.

[And with the finishing touch, she adds an umbrella, cause it looks neat, okay!]

I'm Levi, short for Leviathan of Wrath. But... let's keep the long name a secret, okay? [She gives a wink.]
