[so.... it has happened again, hasn't it? she's somehow found herself in yet another mystical world, dragged here by force. this time, however, she felt even further away from her brother. yuu was still back in the digital world, wasn't he? she felt her heart sink at the very thought, her stomach twisted and her mind raced with thoughts of just what was happening to him back there. was he okay? was darkknightmon hurting him? was he being forced... to...

nene, suddenly realizing something, sprang to her feet. she ran out from the bay area, grabbing her xros loader and looking for sparrowmon inside of it. she called to her friend, trying to get him to reload. but... when there was nothing, no response, she felt her breath catch in her throat yet again. sparrowmon... wasn't here? no, no that couldn't be- how would he suddenly disappear from her xros loader? this was...]

Insane. [this was completely insane!! she checked again, and it seemed like only the monitamon and monimons were still in her loader. at least she had them, at least she had something...

but now wasn't the time. her realization was that without her around, without her doing all the bidding of darkknightmon, that maybe yuu would become a general next. she couldn't have that happening. she needed to get back by any means necessary. she just didn't know how she could do any of this without sparrowmon....

she took in a deep breath, nodding to herself, before she stormed off in the direction of the main city. as she walked and walked, she passed by people left and right. she was on a mission, it seemed, and she may or may not stop once called out to. would anyone like to try and call out to her? or ask if she was alright? she seemed to be wearing a concerned expression on her face.]

(ooc: tl;dr nene feels terrible and realizes that her digimon partner isn't with her and she has a freak out about it. feel free to run into her either at the bay or in town!)

[sometime later, after she had a moment to compose herself, nene had decided to put on that fake personality of hers and just try to figure out as much as she can about this world so she can hurry back to the digital world. time to do some research and to talk to the locals! so, it seemed like here a lot of people liked to make broadcasts and such, asking a variety of questions. right now? everyone seemed to be on about these... pokemon, creatures. they sounded so insanely similar to digimon that she had gone and traded her ticket in.

the results were not what she had been expecting. they were fun little animals! but they certainly weren't digimon. the pidgey she had been gifted made her stomach twist, made her think of sparrowmon, but that was behind her now. she needed to focus on the present.

she turned on her device, and it looked like she was out in the woods, allowing her pokemon to run around. the pidgey flew in the background of the video, cooing at her. she smiled at the camera now.]

Well, it seems like I've come here right when things have become exciting. Looks like these little guys aren't from around here, by the reactions of everyone. I guess I should show mine off, just a little.

[she turned her device to show off her pokemon. the pidgey was busy flying around, so she wasn't in the shot, but other than that? nene seemed to have an interestingly colored Grubbin, purple Oricorio, Chikorita, Rattata and Farfetch'd. once she let the video linger on them she turned it back to herself. by that point, the pidgey had landed on her shoulder. she looked over at it, sighing a little before looking back to the camera.]

...More to the point, does this place usually offer little gifts like this? [she moved her shoulder, the one with pidgey on it, to further emphasis what she was talking about.]

Is it to try and make people here more comfortable, and want to stay longer? Ah, I'm just thinking out loud. These little guys seem like a lot of fun! I'd love to see what everyone else got.

Hm... This is my first time getting a gift from Genessia... Unless you count everyone turning rainbow during Valentines Day...?

[Shi is seated in his apartment with his sleeping Pokemon. It's a rare moment of peace, which he uses to pan the camera across his Poliwag, Ghastly, and Duskull.]

These are my new friends. They're a pretty big handful when they're awake... Are your friends super energetic too?

Turning... rainbow? [she just blinked at the thought.] And how did people react to that?

[what lovely little guys!] Mm, a little. Rattata and Chikorita seem to fight sometimes, but other than that everyone is pretty relaxed. I think I'll just have a handful with those two.

It was... Really weird. Peoples' eyes were changing colours, or in my case, my fingernails. I've never seen anything like it.

[He giggles lightly.] My two ghosts like to pick fights too. I've heard that they battle to get stronger, so maybe they're all in a hurry to grow up?

My... I don't even know what I would have done. Was there any reason for the change in color?

[her smile is there, and she seems to be genuine enough, but nene is definitely forcing herself to act more cheery. just go along with everything and find out as much as she can, that was the plan.]

I wouldn't doubt it! That does sound like fun though, the Pokemon battles.

[For the most part, Toshinori didn't meddle in the affairs of people when they didn't need a hero, but as he walked out of the store holding his grocery bags, he noticed Nene there seemingly in the middle of a panicked concern. Something amiss. With a sigh, he inflated and waved at her.]

she suddenly looked over to him, stopping immediately. this guy was.... massive, to say the least, he could almost be some kind of incredibly human digimon. she was looking for something, definitely, and that was just a way back home.]

Just... the exit. [time to be up front about it.] I just got here, and I understand the general gist of this place- however I cannot be here, I must get back to where I was.

[Of course. What most people wanted and yet, couldn't have. Toshinori sighed a little, and shook his head.]

That's going to be harder than expected, miss. There's a lot of people who want to go home, and sadly it hasn't happened. Not at least, under our own control.

But it has happened. Is it just random, or does something trigger it?

It hasn't happened by voluntarily triggering it, not from what I've heard. It seems to be completely random by chance.

[Sorry Nene, you're stuck here.]

[completely random.... that just won't do! she shakes her head, looking down for a moment. so, she just... needed to wait it out, maybe? gather information in the meantime, perhaps? that sounded like the most logical conclusion.

she looked back up to the large man.]

How can you stand being here when you might be needed back home? [honestly, a question she would keep on asking herself.]

By believing in those who I entrust the future to. Believing that the next generation will become the heroes they need to be.

It's a long and difficult road, but it's one I can endure.

[He grinned.] After all, I'm not the only Symbol of Peace back home.

he was definitely the wrong person to talk to about this. she didn't care about symbols of peace, or whatever heroes he was referring to, she just wanted to know someone else felt like her.]

They might need more guidance, but that's what we teachers and heroes are for.

[SUPERHERO?! honestly nene would have probably found that to be really cool, and even endearing, but right now she wasn't in the mood.]

It's a world that needs help. Even with the small and large problems, it deserves attention.

It's a world that quite frankly, has given me more than expected. The people who helped me, I can never repay enough.

nene sighed a little.] So there are nice people here, lots that like to help. [will anyone help her get back home? is really the question.]

What kind of help does it need?

People think that heroics are all about defeating the boss, or taking down a crime syndicate. But back in the day, it was all about community service, looking out for the smaller people who need your aid.

I spend my time at the local junkyard, helping out with the work there. Nothing too big or too small. And if you can't find a power to help out, then you look for one.

[wait a minute. waaaiiiitt a minute. she could use this guy, she really could. maybe with his heroics and his strength, he could also help her get back home.]

All Might, I am so sorry but I never introduced myself. I am Nene, and... what you're saying, I agree with it! It's just that I'm really distracted, I'm only thinking of getting back to where I was.

That would be normal, in a place like this. [He wasn't a fool but he was also one of those people who gave others the benefit of a doubt. And considering everything, he would like to make sure the younger generation wasn't in trouble.]

I haven't found a way back, but there's plenty of people here who can help you adjust for the time spent here. Worrying about past mistakes, can often lead to frustration.
