[The feed comes on to the image of a young girl, who certainly looks much better now, having almost completely recovered from her illness. She was a radiant little beauty with something to share.]
...I suppose, in a way, it is an early birthday gift? I happened upon this beautiful stone the other day. It appeared to be clear and looking into it was like looking into the night sky.
Does anyone know what kind of stone it is? I have here if it helps to see it...
[Anastasia was about to reach for it, she had kept it by her vanity mirror, but she stopped.]
It... It's gone...? Where could it...
[She gets up and leaves her bedroom and out to the living room where she found it. Her Popplio had it and it was bouncing and balancing the Dusk Stone on its nose, with Misdreavus floating around in amusement.]
Poppy! That's not a toy!
[Anastasia's sudden appearance startled Popplio, bouncing the Dusk Stone out of its control and plummeting to the ground. Fearing it could break, Misdreavus catches it in its mouth, making a vocalisation like, "Ta-da~"]
Phew... Good girl, Phantasma. Now, bring it to mo--
[The Dusk Stone began to glow brightly, so bright that it engulfed Misdreavus. Anastasia couldn't handle such bright light that she covered her eyes and looked away. The phone could see everything, as well as anyone watching her broadcast.
The little ghost Pokémon lost its distinctive shape, becoming a glowing ball of light. In mere seconds, the glowing ball of light began to take a new shape, larger and and profound, then the light faded.
In Misdreavus's place was a entirely new Pokémon that she hasn't seen before.
Anastasia looked back once her light blindness went away and saw what happened to Phantasma, then looked back to the camera.]
...Happy birthday to me...? What just happened?

Re: [Video]
...so that's evolution... I've seen it happen a handful of times, but I haven't seen it happen this way before.
Are there other stones like it? And how do they make Pokémon evolve?
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
[But more questions. Her thirst for knowledge is never ending.]
Do they make all Pokémon evolve? Can such a stone make Phantasma evolve again?
[The Mismagius for a moment questions Anastasia's motives...]
Re: [Video]
Plus, Phantasma won't able to evolve again with the stone.

[The blinding light was rather unsettling. Shi had gone from excited to congratulate her to deathly worried.]

That wouldn't be good on your birthday.

Satsuki would not be happy about that if it was...

Hi, Soma. Thank you.
Do you know anything about Pokémon?

Re: [Video]
I will? When and where can I expect it?
Re: [Video]
Oh, don't expect it at all! Let it come without pomp and unannounced. I'll leave this gift you aren't expecting with Star next I visit.
[They're the Curdie books by George Macdonald. Two whole books!
sand anthrax][Action]
Her usual greeting is cut off upon catching sight of a new pokemon.]
...
[The looks she gives Ana says it all: 'Dare I even ask what happened?'.]
Re: [Action]
Speaking off, Popplio did the Worm out of the room. Running away the only way a sea lion pup can.]
Um... Welcome home, Satsuki.... You know how I got a Misdreavus?
[She attempts to use her own Charm move. Hands laced in front, a slight downcast, looking to Satsuki with a little shy smile.]
Well... It evolved.
[The cry Mismagius made as it fluttered it's cloak-like body sounded like a whispered spell incantation.]

[She does remember, and as the explanation continues Satsuki's expression is surprisingly neutral throughout. She glances to Mismagius then back to Ana.
It's fairly effective, but not enough to slice through Satsuki's reasoning. ]
It sounds as if you had not thought to use your Pokebit.
no subject
[Anastasia honestly has no idea how to work the Pokebit, despite her having gotten one before.
She won't say anything, since anything she might try to say won't be enough to dissuade Satsuki of whatever she's planning.]

That's a wonderful Pokémon, you have! [Mavis has seen Pokémons do all kinds of amazing things ever since she discovered them in Genessia, but she's never seen one quite like that.
She pauses and then snaps her fingers before looking for her Pokebit.] Could that be... an evolution? Floette did that last year. But she didn't use a stone.
Re: [Video]
Thank you, Mavis. It's apparently called a Mismagius.
How've you been?
I'm good. But today is about you. [She winks.] How old are you anyway?
Do you have plans for today? We should go do something fun. [She remembers the message Anastasia left on her voice mail when she was sick.]
Is Mismagius its new name or its former name? I've noticed that Pokémon who evolve usually change names when they do. [She waves gently at the Pokemon.] It's nice, though. It sounds like "Miss Magic".
Re: [Video]
[If she didn't have all this extra magic ruining her, she would have been 15 years old. Yet, she looks not a day over 12. Of course, Anastasia wasn't going to say anything.]
Mismagius is its name. Before, it was a Misdreavus.
[Phantasma the Mismagius cried out with glee when Mavis waved at it.]
