DOGSPLOOOOOSION! [Action] Backdated June 23rd
Satsuki been struggling to find a way to make amends with a certain someone, but the best idea she can come up with is buying some sort of present, which brings her to the Hamete Strip Mall.
The problem, though, is she hasn't the slightest idea what to get the girl. Getting just a card seems very... Lame. But it is a start. Her thoughts are suddenly interrupted by,
"Hey! Hey! Come back here ya punk!"
Said young punk is on the run with some poor guys wallet, but foolishly headed right in Satsuki's direction. In one flawless motion, the Council President swings her arm and smashes the sheath of her sword across the side of their head which sends him flying off to the side and instantly unconscious.
However, off to the side just so happens to be a giant window for 'Doug's Training School for Dogs'. The moment the glass is shattered, out comes a horde of sixteen dogs: five labrador retrievers, six german shepards (three pups, three older), four siberian huskies and one snooty poodle, all intending to enjoy their newfound freedom. Freeeeeeeeeeedom!
The man who's wallet was stolen runs up to the white-clad young lady with a relieved smile, "Wow, nice arm! Thanks, lady!"
"It was noth-"
"But if I dont get those dogs back in my shop in twenty minutes, their owners are gonna have my head, know what I mean?"
Oh. Well then. These dogs are all over the mall now.
Little help, anyone?

A moment later, an irate Ryuko steps out of the arcade into the mall proper, holding up a husky and a poodle in each hand by the scruffs of their necks. "All right!? Who the hell let the dogs out!?"
no subject
Only that's not really what happens, what actually happens is that Ryuko steps out into the open at around the same time an embarrassed looking Satsuki was walking by with a very dizzy 65 lb lab over her shoulders that tired himself out chasing his tail for eight minutes straight.
It was pretty ridiculous.
Upon seeing Ryuko, Satsuki's gaze drifts to the side. She didn't even get the card yet, but.. Maybe it isn't the worst possible timing. "They got out of the shop," somehow. "... Would you mind bringing them back with me."
no subject
Keep cool. Even if Ryuko didn't look cool. "Ah, so that's what happened. Sure, I can help you out, nee- er, Satsuki." Okay, so there was no suffix to her name, but at least Ryuko had caught herself before calling her "neesan." That was something to ease her into. Hell, it had actually taken Ryuko a long time before she had gotten used to saying it in the first place.
no subject
"All right.. It is roughly seven stores ahead," she murmurs as she takes the lead and walks again, but at a slightly slower pace than her usual march. And of course she notices the correction in addressing, though she doesn't comment on it right away.
At first there's just silence from her, so only the sound of the occassional barking and the white noise of babbling shoppers is in the air. But at last she speaks again in an attempt to break the ice. ".. So you are proficient in this arcade gaming?"
no subject
Ryuko's thought process was interrupted when the poodle decided to lick Ryuko's arm. Okay, holding the dogs out further now. And answering the question.
"Yeah. Not super good, but it passes the time." It's a delinquent thing. Delinquents get into fights and hang out at arcades. Ryuko wasn't going to mess with the system.
no subject
No, perhaps 'troubling' isn't the right word. It's awkward. Unbelievably awkward, especially knowing she was in the wrong.
"Ah." Still, at least Ryuko isn't snubbing her. Yet. "I presume you have obtained employment then, seeing as your income has become so readily disposable."
no subject
"Games aren't expensive. Anyway, whatcha doing out here? ...Besides chasing down dogs." Yes, good subject change. A++ Ryuko. She should pat herself on the back for that one.
no subject
"I was looking to.. purchase something." she murmurs, "I figured I would find something more appropriate in this Mall rather than Nova City." But she'd rather not get into the details of that. "Do you know who the City Guardian of Genessia City is?"
i live!!!
She was kind of curious to what Satsuki was looking to buy, though. At a mall. But for now she'd let Satsuki go on with whatever it was she was going on about.
You Live-a-live!
Let's just skip ahead a bit to the dogs getting dropped off to the proper area; and that is last of them. Doug gives the two his thanks and says not to worry about the window- which all leads up to the duo being on their own again.
The awkward air sets in again, but Satsuki is determined now to see this through. There must be something.. Something she can buy for Ryuko when suddenly it suddenly clicks like a light bulb. Her eyes widen a touch as she blurts, "Ah. Come with me."
And she proceeds to take the lead with an aura ready for battle burning about her.
\o/
That's when Satsuki seemed to figure out what. "Huh? What's up?" Ryuko matches Satsuki's pace. Never let it be said that Satsuki can even walk without purpose - she walked fast. Ryuko didn't match her intensity; she had no reason to. Still, what fired up her sister so much?
Re: \o/
There is one thing that, so far, has proven to be a helpful solution to numerous Genessia-related problems in Satsuki's experience. It holds a decent record, so surely this should help in this situation as well.
Eventually the duo arrive at a booth manned by an almost comically short vendor- an ice cream booth to be exact, that boasts having over seventy five flavors. The Deputy Guardian gestures to the menu. "This is it." Satsuki murmurs with what appears to be a rather proud smile, "Select whatever you wish; it is my treat today."

It wasn't long before her little guys were off chasing the others for play among other things. Time for Fluttershy to spring into action. "Excuse me, please come back here... I know you want to have fun, but there are lots of people here."
She looked around to see just what commotion they were causing and it wasn't good and when she looked she spotted the other.
"Oh, are you helping to gather the dogs back?"
no subject
Satsuki picks up one of the german shepherd pups who was making a fine impersonation of a hat by laying over one of Fluttershy's dogs head. And after then does she notice the canary color pony. "Fluttershy," the young lady murmurs in recognition, though appears to be a bit embarrassed. "Yes, they escaped from the training school a few stores down."
As she looks at the small mob, she does start to get a little confused, and an annoyed 'tch' passes her lips. "Though I'm afraid things have suddenly become more complex.."
no subject
Fluttershy thankfully knew what to do. She understood at least what they wanted. Food. All dogs seem to love the taste of juicy meat especially, so going into her saddlebag, she was preparing something. After a minute she found what she was looking for, a nice big bit of yummy meat, which she places on the floor.
"Here you go. I'm sure most of you must be hungry after all that running around." She said sweetly with a smile just a sweet as she noticed some had started to make there way.
"It looks like it might work, shall I put them meat where they are meant to go?"
no subject
Predictably the canines rush toward the bait, and the dogs specifically from the school appear to warm up to Fluttershy immedietly. .. Curious.
"Seeing as you are the expert here," the young lady murmurs, rather impressed. "I see no reason not to try."
It's an interesting skill, though sadly Satsuki isn't certain it is one she can readily make use of. "The training school is roughly seven stores down, to the right. You cannot miss it as the window is broken."
no subject
"Now, your owners will be very sad if they don't come back and find you in here. Now, I know that you like your freedom, but remember, you love the people who gave you a home." She said softly towards the dogs that were paused at the door and she watched as one by one they made their way into the school.
"That's good." She said with a smile, going to her three. "Now it's just you three, good boys." And with that she turned to the other. "T-They are back in there now, so everything should be okay now."
no subject
Well whatever the reason, the part of the job ends up finished, and the school instructor looks much more perplexed by the sight than Satsuki and he scratches his head. "Well son of a gun, now I've seen everything.."
The Deputy Guardian stares at the pony's dogs for a moment, then to the pink-haired one. "Impressive work, Fluttershy. You appear to be settling in well enough."
no subject
"Oh, yes. I've settled in a little. After all with my my friends it helps." She said looking at her companions. Sure they weren't the same as the ones back home, but they were still good friends to her at least.
"What brings you here anyway?"
no subject
"When you say 'friends', do you mean as pets and companions, or as beings that you can confide in? I confess I am still a little.. Puzzled by your social ability." Ah, but Fluttershy did ask a question first, didn't she?
"I am here on a personal matter, but due to.. Circumstances, I've ended up in the center of this mess." A mess she caused, though she won't confess to that.
no subject
She wasn't sure what exactly she was suppose to do next, she had come here to simply buy a few things, but maybe offering to get her friends to help the man might be her new idea. "It was nice talking to you, I should at least go help that man with his window, or is that not a good idea?"
no subject
That said, Satsuki responds to the suggestion with a disapproving shake of her head. "Unless you have a plan, or possess a talent in window repair, it would merely be a waste of time. Otherwise I would like to ask a few more questions if you are not in a rush."
no subject
Firstly though, she knew she should at least keep the dogs close to her for now or causing another commotion, so with getting them a treat to snack on for the next few minutes she glanced back.
"What kind of questions do you want to ask?"
no subject
"But in my opinion, it would not be very helpful." He might appreciate the gesture, but Satsuki is more no-nonsense about that sort of thing. "I was wondering is.. 'Kindness' your mantra? Or perhaps 'philosophy' might be a better word."
no subject
When she hears the question she ponders it if only for a moment. "You mean is kindness my thing? If so then, yes. It is. Back home, I process an Element of Harmony and that element was Kindness." So to her it was nice of natural that she could show such kindness to others, even if she gets a little intimidated often.
no subject
"Could you tell me a little more about your Elements of Harmony? Are they needed for anything in particular, for example. Is it a physical object?"
no subject
"For my friends and I, it is a necklace that I wear and Twilight, my friend wears a crown thing. I guess that counts as physical, right?"
no subject
no subject
Shaking her head she keeps her eyes to the floor. "It's nothing like that, they do have a purpose in keeping peace by taking care of whoever is causing trouble, but um... I can't really go into detail about how it does such a thing."
no subject
[Unfortunately that isn't very helpful, but little information is better than nothing. Perhaps it's something that will reveal itself over time.]
And my other question is about your services.. Do they extend to pokemon as well? Or merely more common pets?
no subject
Oh, yes. I try and look after them as well. I have one myself currently.
no subject
no subject
Usually, no. But here I might have to. It's that or charge just one fair price.
no subject
[Just a bit of advice. She doesn't know how easily cowwed Fluttershy is but Satsuki expects the pony isn't difficult to taken advantage of.]
Well, I believe I have taken enough of your time. That which you have given me is appreciated.
no subject
O-Oh, well, um. Your welcome... I think. Thank you.
no subject
I would also invest in a sign so that your rates are clear.
[Following the thanks, Satsuki nods in return and turns her back to her.]
Of course. Until next time, Fluttershy.
[With that the young woman marches off in the opposite direction she arrived.]
