Okay... I think I have this sorted so a certain someone can't hear this. But I need to ask for a tiny bit of help before the 14th rolls around. Just a case of tips and advice about cooking. I must admit I can do basic stuff but uh... What I have planned is a lot more than I would normally do, so tips and advice will benefit me greatly.

Also... any advice to not feel nervous would be a plus.

Yeah, I mean, I haven't thought about what I'll be doing, but what's going on? Is everything okay?

Where are you now? I'd rather discuss everything in person. As I said I wanted to get your opinion on something after all.

[The days when Hikari was required to be at the Flash Bandits shop were always less eventful. On occasion, even boring. So when Takeru’s message came through her communicator, it was a welcome—and very pleasant surprise.]

I’ve cleaned my camera lens twice, organized photography package orders by both price and number of pictures offered, and developed half a dozen pictures in the back room. It’s all very exciting.

[She might have been a tad sarcastic, despite the smile.]

...next week? [She wasn’t so oblivious not to think he was referring to White Day in particular, but beyond that...] I’m not sure. I don’t think so. Why?

[Well that isn't a tip off or anything. Suguha is chuckling as she replies.]

As long as you don't cook spaghetti noodles with butter and herbs for the meal, I won't have to bonk you on the head with a kendo sword.

I'm actually heading home to pick up something before going to the Professor's auditions later.

That sounds like a really productive day. [He could tell off of the sarcasm there, but he was going to simply play along.]

I'm sure if that was productive tomorrow is going to be a treat for you.

[Well, that was a plus. He didn't want to have gone through all of this planning and have it majorly backfire on him. Sure, he could just think around it, but still. It was a lot of effort put into it. He couldn't exactly back out now.]

Well since I need to repay you for Valentine's Day I figured why don't we go out that day? After you finish work... At least I assume you are working that day.

I'm...pretty sure I am not planning to make the noodles with butter and herbs because as much as that sounds appetizing, it's not really suiting what I need.

But it is a dinner I am trying to do. Chocolates...I guess also, but since it's for White Day...not sure if making white chocolate would be the best idea.

The apartment is fine, actually. I am home right now anyway.

I am. [A nod, and she seemed neither happy nor unhappy at the thought.] My schedule’s surprisingly consistent when it comes to the days I’m here. But I only have to stay until about one o’clock. Maybe two, if things pick up.

[And she was right. This was about White Day. Which made sense to her; she’d given him chocolates, so it was tradition that dictated he would have something for her in return.]

Hmm... White Chocolate is temperamental, mostly because of the way it melts but it's doable.

[Of course there was a reason why. Hadn’t Takeru himself said he did the things he did for a specific reason? The trouble came when she attempted to guess said reason.]

[Rather than suspicion this time, she giggled lightly. This was meant to me a White Day present, so whatever it was, she trusted it would be more welcome than that Horror Movie.]

[He smiled slightly, trying to figure out if he should really give anything away or not. She was smart so if his hint was too obvious he was sure she would figure it out. But his mind was also sure it would be fun to watch her figure it out without any hints. It was a tough choice really.]

I don't know... I mean won't it be more fun going in blind? [Maybe for him it might.]

[It didn’t come out in her usual exhaspersted tone, though. And when she tried to scrunch her nose, the expression lasted less than a second before she was smiling again. Clearly amused.]

[Still...he seemed pretty pleased with himself, and since alll this was technically for her, she decided to go along with the game. Nodding once before readjusting herself and the communicator so she could press both palms together in a “pleading” manner.]

All right, I can swing by and give you a quick lesson on how to prepare a dinner for two then.

Hmm, it might be a good idea to make something small if you're going to add chocolate to it. Just because for the beginners sake.

There is more than one part. [That really wasn't the most helpful of hints, but it was the best one he could think of without giving too much away.]
