[A young woman with red tangled red curls plastered wetly to one half of her face furrows her brow at the screen, holding it a little too far from her.]
This thing actually work?
[A beat, and her frown deepens.]
Guess I just answered my own question.
[Click! Aaaaaand she's gone. That's it? That's it.]

[Action #1]
[Shit.]
[That's the only word that races through her mind as Allie Stoklasa paces through the shallow water by her pod. She kicked at the thing a few times after hearing the message about being kidnapped and the recommendation about living a 'normal' life here. How the hell is she supposed to do that? How does anyone get ripped out of their homes, dropped into an alien social experiment, then shrug and go 'Nothing better to do than get a job, la la la!']
[Not happening. And she has no idea how to send a message to berate and cuss out these 'spirits.']
[Seriously, spirits? That's crazy. All of this is crazy. She eyes the smart phone in her box before ignoring it, digging out her own phone and flipping it open. She scrolls down to Jin Saotome's name and presses the confirmation button.]
[There's no ring tone. Not even a warning that she's going to pick up roaming charges. Shit. She almost chucks it across the room in frustration, but she might need it later. She powers it off. No telling how long before the battery runs out, and she didn't bring a phone charger with her.]
[So there's the other phone, the one provided to her. Allie frowns at it, and hesitantly digs it out of the box. The necklace is gaudy, but it might sell, so she stuffs that into her front jeans pocket. Whoever made this phone is more technologically advanced than she is, it has a lot more features and functions than her flip phone. Who made it? Is it a Blackberry? Nokia? She scrolls through the names (and there's hers close to the top), but Jin isn't on there. Apparently everyone else is a resident here--]
[Holy shit, Skeletor? What the f***.]
[Okay okay, ignoring someone with either questionable choice in user handles or particularly cruel parents, she toys with the thing and pushes the button.]
This thing actually work?
[She can see her face in a small icon in the corner, disheveled and confused. Not exactly a glamorous way to introduce herself, but who cares.]
Guess I just answered my own question.
[She shuts it off again, grumbling to herself, and tosses the phone carelessly back in the box. It's tempting to pitch the whole thing into the water, but other than the clothes on her back, it's all she has at the moment, and she isn't sure what she'll need and what she won't. She tucks the box under her arm and stalks toward the exit, right hand clenched into a fist. Her hackles are up, she's scared, she's pissed, and she needs to get the hell out of here before anything else 'normal' pops up.]

[Action #2 - Open to just one person, no multiple responders unless it's to the same thread]
[The first thing Allie is drawn to is a vehicle. It might belong to one of the names she read on the list, it might not. The list seemed to be suspiciously short, she's pretty sure way more people live in this place than what was stated. So what's up with that?]
[She walks around the vehicle, trying to size up her chances of hot wiring it the way Jin taught her. If it's similar enough to a modern Earth motorcycle, truck, or car, there's a good chance she might be trying to bust a window (where applicable) or jimmy the lock to get in (also where applicable). She works fast, waiting until she's fairly sure no one is paying attention before she attempts her theft.]
[Her motivation is easy enough: drive the hell out of here. And if that doesn't work, sell it. Ordinarily she wouldn't be quite this bold without anyone else from the gang to watch her back, but seriously, to hell with this world and its fake little society, she's not going to play by these rules. Why should she? She was kidnapped, she doesn't owe this place shit.]
