[It's late in the evening when this arrival makes his weary debut.

If it wasn't for the bone chilling cold, Regis would've doubted that he was still alive. He stands out here by the Bay retracing his steps as he tightly clutches the cane within his hand. He's freezing, utterly freezing but despite the dull ache of the cold he wears a slight smile upon his face.

How many times has he washed up upon this shore and seen this starlit horizon? One too many times now. It seems that the gods have no idea what to do with the fallen king but Regis isn't complaining. He knows a blessing when he sees one and despite how often he awakens within this odd world, he's always grateful. And so, he makes his way towards the city ahead with relative ease but not before glancing at the lonely hologram upon the pier.

He gives her a thoughtful glance as he searches for his phone. Once he finds it, Regis hesitates briefly before finally logging into the Network. Uncertainty grips him as he finally records this message.]


...Is it safe to assume that I'm here to stay? I certainly hope so.

I'm Regis Lucis Caelum and I was here in Genessia City some time ago. Much how I suddenly vanished, I was suddenly returned here.

It wasn't my intentions though.

My time in Eos has long since passed. I...[He trails off momentarily as if lost in thought.] I'm dead.

When I awoke last time, I swore this to be the Afterlife until the aches and pains that once haunted my mortal flesh harrassed me anew.

[ There's a click, then a long drawn out silence like someone picked up their phone to respond and then thought better of it. Cordelia was about to ask a question many likely have already, and decides at the last second to try and rephrase it. ]

Ikki was kind enough to spare me from tonight's bitter chill. I'm quite grateful but I do apologize for summoning him away from home.

What is your name? I've already met dear Leanne.

Don't worry about it. He always helped people out. That's what we do. If you were left out too long and fell ill, he would have called me out to drag you to the nearest hospital.

Yeah, she's my sister-in-law. It's Pegasus Seiya, but everyone calls me Seiya. It's nice to meet you.

[Their alias were named after mythological creatures it seems.]

[ Having finally achieved much healthier sleeping habits, Weiss was asleep when Regis arrived. So it isn't until the next morning that she greets his post. ]

I'm an oddity amongst oddities, Weiss. Seems that I utterly refuse to forget this wondrous world.

[A squeak of surprise, because holy shit that's their departed king back from the dead, and look it's Noct's dad and now he knows he's there and he should say something, but he's never talked to the man on his own. Where is Noct when he needs him?

[The question might sound a tad harsh but his tone is quiet. The question is whispered and not accusatory.]

Excellent salute. [He suspects this is Ignis's influence at play here. Prompto never saluted him before.]

[He's a little flustered and he blushes at the comment, should he not have? It's more a really long road trip, and Noct isn't the only one who's grown up some over the course of the events.]
