[Action - Nova City Mall]

Sonico isn't a stranger in the mall - she is often modelling there or doing PR work for one of the stores. What is more unusual is Sonico actually taking time out to shop for herself. On today's agenda? Lingerie. Sonico is in the colourful, frilly section of the store, browsing various designs. Once she's done, Sonico heads outside, peeking in the pretty paper bag with the tissue paper at her purchases. If anyone passes by, it'll be quite clear from her bags what she has been shopping for. Shopping done, she'll head for the food court.

[Action - Hangar Queen]

It had been a while since Sonico had played here, but here she was, back and fully energised, complete with adorable military uniform tonight. Sonico sings some of her more bouncy and optimistic songs, as well a few slower, more sentimental ones. Got a request? Feel free to ask. She'll play a couple of short sets, then it's time to relax with a drink from the bar.

Sonico starts her video with a smile and a happy wave. Her camera is set up in flattering light, and the video feed includes her face and upper body and a pleasing angle too - she is marketing herself, after all.

I took a tiny break from modelling for a little while, but now I'm ready and happy to take bookings again. My work includes magazines and PR events. [ With her job changing, Konoka felt almost like she'd been failing to keep up with what went on outside Fayren. She hadn't seen Sonico in a while, but outside seeing her on the comms, there was no way to definitely know where she went.

So the best place to hang out and run into her? Hangar Queen.

The brunette was there, sitting in a familiar seat and enjoying hearing Sonico sing. Once she's done for the day, she'll greet her personally. ]

Sonico-han! Wonderful performance, as usual!

*Besides, when Mobius left, Sonico didn't use the comms at all, and she barely left her room or the library.

Still, it was really nice to see Konoka, and Sonico smiles brightly and waves as she makes her way over*

Hi! Thank you so much, and thank you for coming.

No problem! I've been pulled away with deputy stuff. I would wish I could have spent more time catching up with you, but I figure no time like the present to make good on that wish instead of just hoping for it.

Gosh, it's been so long since I've seen you sing in person, I haven't heard a couple of those! When'd you start those?

*Sonico nods in understanding*

You must be so busy with deputy work. And please don't worry - I've been quite quiet myself lately...

*She blushes gently at the compliments*

Been working on them for the past month or so. Did they sound okay?

*Because Sonico knows she can look to Konoka for her opinion, and it matters to her too*

I usually associate you with more bubbly stuff, but it's a nice change for you! Diversifying your talents and such!

[ One of Konoka's hands rests on her cheeks. ]

How has your marine life studying been coming along?

*Sonico looks a little shy at her comments - yes, it was quite different, but she liked it. She smiles and nods all the same*

Oh - well, lately, actually... I've been spending quite a lot of time in the library lately. I should still get out to the sea sometime...

Oh my goodness, I haven't been to the library enough! I ought to go get Secchan a thing or two. Maybe some good books will help when she gets high strung...

How is the Nova sea, anyway? Have you been out there?

*Sonico smiles and tilts her head in her polite confusion - she has no idea who this person is, after all*

Oh - I - not really... I really should get the chance some time...

Secchan is my partner! She actually showed up recently!

[ She had the feeling that Sonico might have been busy, and a little intimidated by Konoka's earlier words. ]

Don't worry, just let me know next time you have a little free time. I can probably make some time for you.

Sonico's not the only one who is out and about shopping, and the lingerie store at the mall is sure a dream come true.

Mikaela's browsing the racks, a black-and-red bra and panties set clutched in her hands, when she stumbles into another shopper and then stumbles into a rack of lacy pink bras, sending a whole flood of them tumbling onto the floor.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"

The sudden movement makes Sonico cry out in surprise, dropping the pink bra she'd picked out among the others. "Oh no! I'm sorry! I didn't see anyone!" Then she crouches down straight away to start quickly picking them up, looking quite embarrassed, and trying to find that one that was her size from all the others.

"Neither did I! Oh man I hope we won't get in trouble... I didn't mean to break anything!"

Not that the rack is broken, there's just a lingerie massacre on the floor. Mikaela places the rack upright again and grabs an armful of bras, hoping to try and hang them up again before anyone notices her blunder.

"It'll be okay! Don't worry!" Sure enough, between the two of them, things are quite quickly cleared up and the bras are back where they should be, apart from a couple that Sonico is holding to buy for herself. "There... But really, I'm so sorry."

The shop assistant has thrown them a couple of stares, but looks away now that things have been sorted.
