I'm sorry that it has taken me a while, but I am back from the Dream Docks and I got something I was wondering answered.

[Even though now, she kind of wish she hadn't. She would have rather that moment stay pitch black, but it had been and gone and she figured she would eventually move past it like she was currently. If she can get past having her heart frozen she was sure she could get past being in something that in her words was like being in the middle of a swirling mass of pain.]

I am sure there have been new people who arrived since I left to go there in the few days, so hello those I haven't met, my name is Winry Rockbell and I hope we can get along.

[She paused for a moment, there was something she wanted to ask... After a moment she remembered.]

Oh, because I know my friends would appreciate this and have told me to do so, but I was considering become a blood donater for that place in Everglade and I was told to ask for someone to come with me if I was ever to go to Everglade, so I would appreciate anyone who offers to help me.

[With that done she now has to do a couple private posts.]

I will keep that in mind, I do know I am planning on going soon never the less. Better to get it done and dusted sooner rather than later.

[For Winry she can get a workload, but found that she didn't always work the way she usually would, prosthetics being slightly different in genessia than they might be in Nova City or back home. It all depends on what the person who was getting it wanted.

I will remember that. Though I think for now I should really get back to work. I have an assignment that I left when I went away for a bit.

Yes. I work with Namur, this is a service we offer to people who need to cross the city or transports their products more securely. Since this is a first time thing, you don't have to pay anything. [he looks amused at her wording.] Gentledroid would be it but my programming is male, so you can use gentleman if it's easier.

I didn't know such a service existed. But regardless I would still pay even if this is the first time. It's only polite after all.

I will keep that in mind. I mean droids and such weren't exactly something we came across back home even if I have been here for a short while now it's still a new sight.

Yes, it's okay. Peter Parker had the same sort of inquiries. I am a KS series enforcer droid, we are designed for combat. We can act as bodyguards or enforce the law. I can sustain blaster bolt damage and I am stronger than humans. My specialty is military analysis, I can process large quantities of data in milliseconds.

I can't give you many details about how my systems work but droids use power cells that function with electricity. I have to recharge after a few days or so.

[She nodded, she really was listening. As for why she was genuinely interested and you never know what could be proved useful later on.]

Basically, yes. There aren't a lot of droid like my model out there, not even in my world.

Yeah, but it's also something that is true. Even with you, I am sure you are the only you. Another droid who might be the same as you might still be different.

Ah, well, yes now I am lie that. Before Cassian modified my programming, time ago, I was a mindless droid like the others. I'm lucky in that regard.

Even so, to be able to change even if it was by someone else still means you are different. It was just someone helped you become more aware of it.

You're right. I like to think that way too.

Maybe one day you'll get to talk to Cassian as well, he's not hard to find. He's the Guardian of Attleton.

Maybe I will someday, though I must admit, I've yet to find a reason to go to that city just yet. Unless you have good places with medical books or something.

The Universities are here, they have huge libraries. You could check for medical books there.

I get the feeling that a university would have medical books, but I believe they would only be open to those who actually go there.

I admit I don't know for sure. But it's worth a try, don't you think?

[Eliot is getting a little bit emotional. His idea of humans 'volunteering' is much different. It involves being tricked, being made so anemic you can't escape, and being blackmailed into returning if you do walk out. It also evokes memories of his days as the Durant family bloodbank, which he can't erase.

On top of that trauma bucket, he really hates to see Winry giving herself away literally for people. He's already known her to give so much of her heart away without including her blood.]

[Eliot just lets out a frustrated hiss at that. She's so stubborn and he knows he isn't going to win. Which just upsets him more. Even in matters he feels strongly about, Eliot can't get people to take him seriously.]

[She figured he must have forgotten really. That seemed like a logical conclusion, or he pretends it didn't happen.]

[Eliot's tone does a drastic shift. He knows that he forgets things often. His pocket watch is his salvation and a curse. So he doesn't doubt that Winry is telling the truth and that he's the one who has forgotten something.

But that isn't something he wants to have forgotten. Moreso, it isn't something he wants to have had happened.]

I-I... a friend...? [Here he was getting so worked up about Winry being used as a food source by other vampires, like he was somehow above that.

He goes very quiet, then hangs up.]

[Winry was about to speak again when he hung up. She... really didn't know what was going on, but now she was worried. Did she do something wrong? Maybe she should go downstairs and check on him.

She really wasn't sure what to do. She had never really been in this kind of situation. But with the feed off, she just sighed. Maybe she'll just check on him later.]
