[The series is a few short texts on the network, it's Gabriel feeling out the area. A new place, a new area to be cautious. He listened to the hologram ~~ignored the screaming Satan down the way~~ and texted as best as his clawed gloves could do.

First up was an Overwatch Code.]

Jack is knee deep in Black and Stupid

[If Sombra, Widowmaker, Doomfist or *shudder* Moira were here, they'd get it and home in on his location.]

Gabriel realized quickly that this world was in chaos. And while he wasn't willing to compromise his evil agent situation, the last thing he wanted was to get the local authorities down on him before establishing some kind of base.

So, shifting his form, he removed his mask and tucked it away. A scarred hispanic man with deep grey skin and red eyes stared out around the area for a long moment.

"Time to meet the locals," muttered Gabriel as he stepped into the light and winced at the bright sun and snow. "Dios Mios... what sort of hell did I walk into that it's so bright?"

[Responding back raising a brow.]

[She wasn't exactly asking, but that's a moot point to bring up,]

With how many people are coming here all of a sudden.... it's very possible for him to show up at some point. If he does, I expect you to follow your word.

[She won't allow it otherwise. She still doesn't like the feud they have, but he doesn't have to like Jack to follow her orders.]

[Lineface. And yet, Gabriel sighed deeply.]

Fine, if you're so insistent. I suppose my party trick of infinite guns via gun gremlin will have to wait.

I know things aren't the same anymore, but I don't want to have to fight an old friend if I don't have to...

No promises if a giant monster tries to eat us though.

That would be a logical time to fight. Weird things do happen here from time to time, after all.

Well, he's not here right now so you're safe. Reinhardt and Hanzo Shimada are also here, so you might run into them.

Shimada... I think Talon had some business with their family but that's old news.

[Gabe grumbled a few choice words in Spanish before sighing.]

[*I take after the person here with me.]

[Jesus Christ! He's going to teleport right across the room and when he notices she played him like a fool, he chuckles and returns to his seat.]

Talon missed it's most powerful weapon stolen from Overwatch I see.

[Strangely enough, it's enough to make her laugh. Something she didn't expect to do with someone she thought she'd accidentally wronged.]

What can I say? I'm not Talon material.

True. Between you and Moira, you'd have turned everyone into frogs. Or dinosaurs.

[She didn't know Moira well, but well enough to know she... wasn't particularly fond of her.]

I think that's more her thing. I'm too busy making sure you guys don't die when you're getting reckless out there.

[It's fine, Gabe wasn't fond of her either.]

That staff of yours, I do kind of miss to be honest.

[That makes her pause for a moment with a small pensive smile win response. Despite everything that's happened since the HQ blew up, it was nice to just have a civil conversation like this again.]

Well, I suppose I could smack you with it if you really want it. [Still teasing, but right after.] As long as you're not involved in any bad things that happen... I've got your back whenever you need it. Just... please don't ruin that.

Just like old times I suppose.

[Finishing his coffee, Gabriel peered into the sunny day for a moment before adding,]

Is it irritatingly bright all the time or did I just come on the first of spring or something?

There's nothing wrong with that, after all.

[Glancing out the window at the mention.]

It seems pretty normal to me.

Mmm. It's a bit too bright, the sun's glaring off the snow.

Well, I suppose we should probably head off soon then. What do you want to know about yet?
