[Another day, another new arrival. Non-human arrivals were probably not all that rare, and it seemed another one was finding themselves waking up out in a pod. She sits upright, stretching as if raising from a comfortable sleep, only to discover that she hadn't woken up where she'd settled down for the evening. Silently, the woman goes over her pamphlet. Genessia, hm? That's an odd name for a city. It was hardly the first time she'd gone to a much different place from her home, though the last time it had been by choice. After gathering as much info as she could on her own, she steps out the pod. There's a swirl of leaves around here, and when they vanish her animal features are hidden from sight. She looks like nothing more then a human woman wearing a undecorated kimono. The only hint of her nature is the leaf-shaped ornament she wears in her hair, but it was hardly a give away to someone that didn't already know her! Thus disguised, she addresses the citizens of what is apparently her new home.]
What an interesting little city you all have here. I did not have any intention of finding myself here, but I rather imagine the same could be said for every last one of you.
[She doesn't seem overly bothered by the whole thing, addressing complete strangers as if she had known them her own life.]
I suppose I should introduce myself. You may call me Mamizou. I do hope this place is as interesting as it seems. If I am to be taken away from my familiar life, I should hope it is not to be dropped into the middle of something boring. So, if one of you could be a darling little thing and educate a lady more then this little leaflet did, I would be quite grateful.

Greetings, Mamizou. I am Satsuki Kiryuin, Deputy Guardian of Nova City. You would be correct in assuming that we, at least those with these communicative devices, have been brought here without consent. Some longer than others.
Allow me to get straight to the point: All that is expected of you is to start a new life here in Genessia, which is a world seperate from your own. Whether that sounds 'boring' or not is mostly up to your actions.
While I am afraid I don't know where Nova City is, if you are its guardian, you must be a woman of some importance.
[She doesn't sound as if she is trying to suck up, merely stating facts as she sees them.]
A new life, hm? Interesting. I can't say I wasn't satisfied with my old one, but things HAD been rather subdued recently. I imagine if people are even still here, there is either no way to return home or there is some other reason people choose to stay. So I suppose there is nothing to gain in dwelling on it for the moment.
Ah, of course. Were I in the area, I would supply a map for you but you could likely buy one of your own nearby.
[The mention of being someone of importance does make her smile a little, but she is actually hesitant to boast about it.]
You would guess correctly. However I believe their is a way home that we simply cannot perceive just yet. I could explain better once you have grown more familiar with Genessia.
[Why, there's even a miko for you to bother! Actually, maybe you shouldn't approach her.]
Could you tell me a bit about your world? Perhaps I can guide you in the right direction for where to settle comfortably for the time being.
Re: [Video]
Do they have a country called Japan where you are from?
[It seemed an odd question, but if this really was an entirely different world, who knows what manner of world this woman might be from?]
If you are familiar with it, I am from Sado.
[Technically the truth, though not where she had been calling home when she had found herself here!]
[Satsuki does find that an odd question. On the other hand this one might still be adjusting to being in a new world.]
I come from Japan, but I should note that many of us are from different times or versions of Japan. I am aware of a Sado, but if you have never heard of REVOCS, then we are not from the same one.
I should also note that there is.. Something that is making it so that we can speak, read, and hear in our native tongue.
That said, there are no cities similar to the prefecture; at least none that I know of yet. It may be best to settle in Genessia City for now. Attleton is a more suburban area. Fayren is a city deeply rooted in magic. Nova City is the highest advanced in technology. And Everglade,
[Hmn.]
Which is rumored to be a ghost town. I suppose that is somewhat tame in comparison.
Re: [Video]
REVOCS? I am afraid that word has no meaning to me, so it would seem that you and I do not share a world of origin. What a shame, though I do not suppose I find it surprising.
[The part about the world basically translating everything was rather interesting. Did that mean anyone could read anything? Its a shame she hadn't been carrying any interesting books when she got stuffed into that tube!]
Perhaps Genessia would be best, but this 'Fayren' sounds interesting as well. It is a city of magic? That is something I absolutely must see.
[Satsuki appreciates good listeners, of course.]
Mn, it was not my intent to suggest that Fayren itself is a city of magic, just that it is prevalent. But by all means feel free to explore. Actually..
Mystical monsters frequent some of the areas.. I have found that most arrivals possess some sort of ability to defend themselves. If you do not, I would suggest making use of some protective services. There is a mercenary named Adam available, as well as a Guild known as Fairy Tail that can be contacted.
Re: [Video]
Oh my, that does sound rather unique. Mystical monsters and magic? This world certainly does not sound boring. I shall take care, of course. I imagine there are some of these monsters I would not enjoy meeting, if the myths are to be believed.
[She's far from defenseless of course, but that was just another level of her disguise. She'd wear it as long as she felt there was plenty to learn about her new home. It would probably be awhile.]
Still, I suppose a woman such as yourself must have more important things to do then greet every new person that finds themselves here. Allow me to offer you my gratitude for taking the time to educate me. I shall not forget it.
[Satsuki is a little surprised Mamizou doesn't boast about any particular strength. She either has none, or is clever not to reveal it. Either way, Satsuki won't press on the matter at the moment.]
And it is not much trouble, I try to make time to at the very least point newcomers in a direction to get things started. Unfortunately I do not get to catch everyone.
Travel safe, and should you find yourself in Nova City, feel free to contact me.

Well, perhaps once I have settled in, my dear girl, but for now I would like to avoid sleeping under the stars tonight. It might be fine if I were in the wilderness, but in a city like this I would just come across as some manner of miscreant I should think.

[ She's stretching a little while she talks. ]
You said your name is Mamizou? I'm Nanana!
Video
Are the sweets that expensive here? I suppose I shall have to control myself. Nanana, was it? It is a pleasure to meet you, if one could claim it a meeting over this device.
Video
[ But overall, after being bound to a room for a few years, she can't help but be glad to be out. ]
It's definitely a meeting! Most of the people I've spoken with I've never seen in person because of my circumstances, so it has to count.

A ghost? Why, I would have never known if you hadn't said anything. You look much like any other girl would. Does this mean that you died in the past? If it isn't too difficult to talk about, of course.
