 [Eliot had, perhaps, been thinking too much about the wrong things. With his hunger returning, he's been riddled again with guilt regarding his condition. At least back home, Eliot had a job to do that he could pretend justified his vampirism. In Genessia, his unique talents have no use. A normal mortal could have done his job just as well. He was just a blood stealing waste of space here. With how he is right now, mostly useless and borrowing blood selfishly, it would make more sense to just let himself fall asleep. Eliot has reached the conclusion that he needs to justify being here, or he'll accept his sleeping beauty routine when his hunger gets too much.

My name is Eliot Durant and I have started a new business in Genessia. I hope to archive information about our new surroundings, especially that which is relevant to us pendent bearers. I can also transcribe books from my world, ranging from fantasy novels to cookbooks. If you need a recipe or entertainment, please contact me.

And then... hm... I suppose, the next matter is a question. Has anyone else been exploring Genessia? I'd like to collect details on the area... I'm also curious to know more about the spirits here. Has anyone encountered them before? The more details I can acquire, the more I can share and the more we can collectively understand our situation.

I was required to read as much literature as possible back home, so as to document society's changing ideals, norms, and entertaining concepts. As such, I can transcribe a number of fiction and non fiction books.

I was shared across borders, so I know tales from all over my world. Do you have a preference for which myths us in the supernatural community know to be true, and those which humans came up with to explain us?

Goodness, is there a distinction? If so, the former please. If there's invention or contrivance it certainly wouldn't be a myth worth reading; those aren't so much made as...well, articulated from inarticulate, primordial stories within.

And there are witches here, I'm sure. I think magic is quite common in Fayren.

And yes. My understanding is that Fayren is an ideal place for those with magical backgrounds to live. Everglade is also a good place, if you are a different kind of person.
