Into the Unknowns [video] possible "action" by the Bay
[When this accidental feed begins, it starts with some startled looking bloke in blue leathers idly touching the screen. The man in question looks particularly confused and greatly disheveled, definitely not the usual expression for the cold and stoic musketeer.]
...Qu'est-ce que c'est?
[The question is asked upon a haggard breath.
Athos awoken with a start inside of that cramp pod, which explains the translucent beads of sweat dripping down his face. He stares into the phone with wide blue eyes, shock evident across his face. It seems he's still inside of that odd cavern by the tide.
It's rather dark here. The shadows dance about behind him as he wades through the water aimlessly in search of the others. His only source of light here happens to be the ethereal white glow of this phone. Unfortunately, he has no idea what this device truly is and seems to be using it as some sort of torch. That explains why he doesn't shout into the phone as he holds it up for light.]
D'artagnan? [His voice is raspy just like earlier but it has a commanding edge to it, almost aristocratic.] Porthos? Aramis?
Answer me.
[The auto translator boots up unlike earlier. It was probably still downloading the application when he first spoke but yes, English isn't his native tongue.]
There's no one here.
[The realization washes over him after he successfully explored every nook and cranny of this cave.
In a dazed huff, Athos heads briskly back towards the silver pod floating upon the tide. He drops the phone towards the left as he grabs the remainder of his things. The man is armed, heavily armed even. He carries two ornate flintlock pistols on his person along with a elegant steel rapier that has a thick guard that seen it's fair share of action. He quickly sheathes his sword upon the right of him before grabbing for his brown leather hat and turquoise half-cape.
It's then that he grabs the phone again and starts making his way towards the slight opening ahead. Still, he has no idea the device he's carrying is actually connecting him with hundreds and hundreds of viewers.
Athos just thinks it's some kind of glowing stone, like that makes any more sense.]

[This coming from a young woman in yellow sitting under a tree in a park in Attleton, getting the hang of the area.]
Unless they are and I don't know, I mean I've only been here a couple weeks myself...
Re: video
...Who's there?
[The musketeer glances over his pauldron at the cave briefly before realizing the voice is coming from this odd object. He peeks at the screen curiously with a hint of uncertainity in his gaze.
Who is this girl? A witch? No, of course not! Witches are just a mere figment of the Church's imagination if nothing else.
Athos stares as he arches his brown high. He's convinced he's drunk now.]
I beg your pardon?
Re: video
[She's just watching the video feed with a small smile]
Do you want me to come meet you? You're still where you woke up right?
Re: video

...do you know what technology is.. [that was one way he was going to differentiate with people he could closely relate to]
Re: [Video]
This is why this "Good Samaritan" wins a glare.]
...This stone carries many oddities, it seems.
Re: [Video]
Yeah, it is odd, isn't it? I'm in the same boat. You'll learn, though.
You look like a warrior, what do you fight for?

Re: [Video]
[He pauses as he turns to the screen.]
No, I'm Athos of the King's Musketeer, mademoiselle.
[Athos introduces at last after staring at this odd girl for a few minutes. She looks young, probably shy of fourteen and her hair is an odd but charming shade of blue. It's almost the same color as the petals of a "Forget me not" flower.]
And you are?
Re: [Video]
Athos of the King's Musketeer! [bows a bit]
I'm Sayaka Miki of Mitakihara Town. Wow..I've never met a Musketeer!

I haven't heard those names before but they might still be around, somewhere. It's not hard to tell you're new to this world but don't panic. A lot of us arrived here without knowing how but it isn't so bad.
Re: [Video]
Athos stands there in mild shock when something metallic and black appears upon the screen. He has no idea what this "thing" is but it's a "talking thing". It has a really odd voice. Not human but...it mimics human speech.
Is it a monster? No, it seems tame. Too tame to be a beast.]
...What are you?

[action, but will change it to video if you’d prefer]
I WOULDN’T SAY THAT.
[As if from nowhere (because there’s nowhere he should have been able to go unnoticed during Athos’ search), a very tall, very thin, and very darkly clothed man steps toward him. This man’s actual features and the sound of his voice will be impossible to really describe should Athos think about them later, but he is speaking perfect French from the Musketeer’s period.
It is also possible that the quirky nature of Genessia has once again weakened Death’s natural ability to hide in the blind of the psyche, and Athos is seeing Death in the flesh. Bone. Death as he really is.]
WHO ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
Re: [action]
Who goes there---[The question dies on his lips once he catches a glimpse of the specter before him. If there was ever a time that Athos ever looked close to fainting, now would be that time. The poor man sways a little uneasily upon his feet as he stares into the soulless gaze of the Reaper.]
...Am I dead? [He exhales without even realizing he was holding his breath until now.] How? How?!
[Athos nearly swears as he points his sword shakily at the Reaper with a look of absolute horror and dread in his gaze. He couldn't have died! He was very much alive a moment ago unless a stray bullet struck him. As far as he knows, he's not wounded. A little bruised but not wounded.]
Re: [action]

[Like a saint (more like, a know-it-all,) Uai is already checking for the names he heard.]
Sorry to say it, but I don't see those names on the list. Probably not here.
Re: video
[Athos unfortunately doesn't know a thing about this brand of technology. Not a single damn thing, actually. He still think this is just some odd piece of sorcery. Magic seems more plausible to him than science at the moment.]

Video
It's been some time since she's been able to converse in French and she's missed it.]
Bonjour monsieur, mon nom est Belle et c'est Genessia. Les gens sont arrivés ici de nombreux endroits différents. Y at-il quelque chose que je peux vous aider? [Her speech is flawless and musical as she replies.
translation: Hello sir, my name is Belle and this is Genessia. People arrived here from many different places. Is there anything I can help you with?]
Re: Video
Bonjour Belle. [He politely nods his head in acknowledgement.] Je suis Athos de Musketeers du Roi. J'ai des affaires urgentes. Le roi est en danger.
[Athos just hopes there's a way for him to return. If not, he fears that the King and Queen both will be in peril. Rochefort's deadly plot is quickly coming to fruition.]

Unfortunately, the way they meet isn't the most diplomatic. Odds are extremely good that Soma walked into the poor man - possibly even ran into him. Where was he going in such a hurry?]

ACTION
For one, the selection was wider, the prices more reasonable, the distance between stores (when he actually got to the city) was far easier for him to travel.
For two, a lot less vampires. Like, a lot less. Like, he didn't even have to carry a shotgun with him to go food shopping, which was always a stellar bonus for Cassian.
No, no sign of the weapon on him at all, though the belt under the cassock coat jangled with an assortment of charms.
Five foot five he might be, quiet for the moment, it was still sort of hard to miss the gray faced, white haired priest, the glasses making circle lined eyes seem all the wider. Like a tiny, surly looking owl, blustering his way through the streets like he owned the place.
Right past the opening to the bay, just in time to catch the glimpse of poor Athos making his way into the light.
Well. It'd be poor manners to just keep going when there was an obvious newcomer here.]
Oi. Lad. Ye new here or is your preferred hobby spelunking? I ain't talkin' your ear off if ye don't need it.
no subject
Nevertheless, the Musketeer peers at this owlish priest with a raised brow. Lad? Athos hasn't been called a "lad" since youth. The comment catches him off guard some causing his lips to quirk upward a little.]
I admit this is no hobby of mine. [He states with a slight chuckle.] I've only just arrived a moment ago.
[And he's already seeking for a way out.]
