[The camera flips on, and there's the sight of a man with what looks to be blue eyes and black spiky hair, an almost x shaped scar on his left cheek. If you got a good enough glimpse, you might even notice that the man's eyes have a slight green glow to them, but you'd have to be very observant to notice right now.

Suddenly, the man looks at the camera in what seems to be very slight alarm.]

Dammit! Gotta turn this thing off!

[It takes just a little playing with it before the video suddenly ends. Yup! That was all!]

[Anyone near the Bay might see a man with a giant sword and spiky hair outside it, and he seems to be moving away from the Bay. He's trying not to bring attention to himself, but this wasn't exactly the middle of nowhere. This was a city, and that made that difficult. Even more, after how he'd woken up, he had to find Cloud. He had to make sure he was okay. He didn't even understand how he was here right now. He'd fought. He knew he was unlikely to survive it, and he'd been on the ground when they shot him and he remembered being left for dead riddled with bullets. He'd been bleeding out. He'd been dying. He'd given Cloud the buster sword....and yet here he was with it. He knew that everything had gone black and he knew he'd felt the lifestream taking him, so then how was he here. How was he alive? What had happened?

At least he wasn't outwardly panicking, just inwardly. He was so lost as to what was going on. Had Shinra done something, had Hojo caught him again, or had something else happened?]

[Right after escaping that peculiar cave by the tide, Athos makes his way onto the pier to gain his bearings. There's a city nearby. Definitely not Paris but a city that seems to match it in size. It would be imperative for him to reach the city and hopefully get in contact with the others.

From what he last remembers, his friend's lives are in certain danger.

So, forgive him if he marches past with haste. He's a man on a mission, a man who has yet to realize his own plight here in this new strange world. Despite still having some sloshing in his boots thanks to the early tide, Athos strides with confidence until he spots a bizarre looking figure ahead.

'Is that...a sword?' Athos' gaze turns dark once he sees that enormous slab of metal.]

...Impossible. [He breathes as he fetches his rapier. There's no way this man---no, not even a man but rather a "boy"---could wield such a monster. That sword is simply too cumbersome, too large and far too wide to be practical. While the youth doesn't appear to be Spainish, Athos isn't taking any chances.]

Monsieur. [The musketeer draws his blade.] Lower your sword.

[What the hell was going on now? Why was a civilian coming up and pulling a sword on him. What had he done? Even more, lower his sword? It was strapped to his back like usual, and that was as close to sheathing it as was possible.

Zack merely out his hands up in surrender.]

I should be saying that to you since I'm not looking for a fight. Nor am I the one pointing a sword at you.

[Zack of course seemed far from alarmed, just more confused as to why someone he didn't know and who obviously wasn't a member of Shinra was targeting him. He looked like a civilian.]

[He looks like a musketeer!

Everything from the black doublet highlighted in blue, the brown feathered hat upon his head and even the silver rapier in his gloved hand screams "musketeer". However, the most noticeable piece on him is the leather pauldron on the side with the platinum "Fleur-de-lis" on display. However, Zack wouldn't know a musketeer if he sees one. So maybe Athos does look like some sword-wielding maniac of a civilian.

That's a fair assessment since right now, Athos certainly looks like one.]

...Hm. [A thoughtful sigh leaves Athos as he lowers his sword.] Very well.

[He sheathes it but his hand doesn't stray far from the ornate hilt.]

Then we talk as gentlemen, agreed?

[Athos speaks in the most accusing aristocratically bored tone he can muster. It's like he's condemning Zack for breathing his air! The poor SOLDIER is being "profiled" by a 17th century King's men.]

[Zack had never dared to even take his out, merely having held his hands up to show he hadn't been looking for a fight. Seriously though, what the hell had he done to warrant this civilian coming at him like that?]

Yeah, sure. Agreed. Uh, what was that about anyway? Did I do something?

[Because he was still pretty sure that he hadn't.]

[Athos takes a breath.

He's on edge. The musketeer been like this since he first arrived here in Genessia and he doesn't seem to be getting any better. Everything about this seemingly magical world stresses him out beyond belief. Being stuck here is a sure death sentence for someone as tightly wound as Athos. He's already starting to fray at the seams and he just arrived.

Athos needs a bloody drink.]

...No, you haven't. [The musketeer sighs as he pinches the bridge of his nose briefly. Everything about this stupid world bothers him.] I did not mean to so rude, monsieur.

[His tone is sincere and somewhat apologetic.]
