Once Cad Bane picked up the bounty from the newspaper, he discovered a couple of other interested parties. He often liked to work alone with no distractions or people getting underfoot or in his way, but sometimes it was also beneficial to work with a team. He arranged a meeting - saying to meet just outside a club which was a likely next target for this killer.

Once they had both arrived and basic greetings had been given, he started bluntly talking like he was in charge and had this all sorted out already. At least with the planning stages.

"We should check out the quieter areas first. Maybe split up and keep in contact. Give some signal when we see something suspicious. Any questions?"

Faye was there because she wanted the money, plus she also wanted to make sure that Gale's clubs didn't get threatened. That, and her own safety when she went out. She shrugged at his ideas, happy for someone to take the bulk of the responsibility. "Fine by me. But what do you want as a signal? A shot? A scream - if you guys can scream loud enough..."

Being in full Orlok gear for the bounty, the only visible expression Gale had were pursed lips to denote his annoyed expression. He was incredibly unimpressed with Cad's attitude right from the get-go, pointing at him when he spoke.

"Listen up, bucko. If you want me to cooperate, then cut the 'I'm in charge' bullshit. Otherwise I'm doin' this myself and givin' Faye the money."

As far as he was concerned, Gale had higher stakes in this bounty than someone like Cad did, so he wasn't afraid to break off and do things his way, or go out of his way to make Cad's life harder for his own personal amusement. Faye was there with them though, so that at least made Gale a little more inclined to behave.

At Faye's suggestion, he looked over at her with a grin, commenting in a tone that likely gave away the eyebrow waggle hidden behind his mask. "For you? I'll scream as loud you want me to."

With that remark out of the way, he shook his head, "I've got magic I can rely on for signals. Dunno about you two. Either way, I can keep track of you two with this." He tapped the edge of his mask, "Neither of you nor our target will get away as long as I've got this."

Bane didn't care much about the clubs or even the people in danger. He was only in it to collect the bounty - but that didn't mean he would do an inefficient job. He took his work and reputation seriously and would do all he could to capture the culprit - with or without help.

"Listen, pal," he spoke dryly at Gale. "You want this done right, you'll co-operate with me." He held up his communicator. "I meant that we could set these up with some signal only we knew the sound of but something else could be a back-up if something goes wrong with that. Either way, we can take down this criminal and we do it tonight," he sounded certain about that.

This was why she and Gale didn't go for bounties together too often. She rolled her eyes at him and nudged him with her elbow, "Shut up, Gale." She was in her 'it's time to work' mode, so she meant it even if it was said more fondly.

"Alright, boys, let's quit with the alpha male shit and just get the killer, yes?" Faye nodded towards Cad. "Okay then. Let's split up if we need to, but nobody wanders too far - I'm obviously the first choice as bate. If I don't have time to signal with my phone, you'll hear gunshots first anyway." Then she followed her speech with a 'can we go now' gesture.
