Greetings and salutations, Genessia~! Satou Kuroneko, speaking! I'm sorry for being quiet for so long.

I finally got myself a job! I'll be working as a detective in Everglade from here on out. Should you need any assistance there, you are welcome to inform me. My magic is all kinds of useful and I promise to do my best for everyone~!

How do we find roommates here? Or are we supposed to live alone? It seems like such a waste of space to be all by myself.

Except! Well... I have my Pokemon. But Shooey is too big to fit in a house.

Too big..is Shooey a dragon? Er..no, you said Pokemon..

[She takes out her three Pokeballs, because showing is better than telling. Pretty soon, she has an Espurr on her shoulder and a Kirlia at her side... and in the background, stretching her wings, is an Aerodactyl.]

Shooey is too big for the apartmeent.

[the softest gasp ever, accompanied with widened eyes]

A dragon-! [Hana pointed, but paused]

..Yes, these apartments are awfully small. But regardless! They could be the friends that could be your roommates, right?

Or do they need jobs too?

Eh? No no noo... I wouldn't make them get jobs and pay rent! They spar with me, and that's enough...

Besides, Mikitty says he's too young for a job. [She tickles the Espurr's cheek,] But I do wish Shooey could get out more. She must get so bored cooped up in her Pokeball all day.

[Soooooo cute! Actually that Pokemon looked like a really small cat..]

Hmm.. I see...Could Shooey fly around on her own? She has really wonderful wings, meant to be everywhere~~

I don't know...? Shooey really only likes to go places with me. But we can't play much because of that barrier up there. I heard that if I hit it, I might pass out.

[she wanted to mythbust it, though! Hana tilted her head] Well, perhaps when I get a job, we can be roomates, hm? Or I can find you some friends. Its kind of fun taking and scooping people up.

Satou isn't sure how to answer without making her desperate loneliness disgustingly obvious.]

WELL! I mean. If you're okay with... ya know. Shooey... having wing space. I dunno about scooping people up, though..?

Of course I am! Shooey is no problem at all if we get a biiiiiiiiiiiig uh...space!

And don't you worry. [Hana winks] I know people, and none of them can resist having fun in the skies with me~

Iiii might beg to differ? I mean... My friend Touka is terrified of having her feet off of the ground. And I know Shugo acts calm and collected when I carry him around, but I'm an empath and I can feel his soul screaming for mercy.

[oh, how she misses his terrified sobs.]

There's people that are afraid? But it's such a joy to look at things waaaaaaaay afar!

Yeah... My friend Touka hated to just have her feet off the ground for swinging. It makes you feel vulnerable, you know? Not everyone can fly. Most people just fall.

No wonder many humans are afraid..I didn't know-!

Ahhh, well... It's not really your fault, Hana-san. You didn't know. It's probably not something that someone who flies naturally has to think about much.

[As an experienced flyer herself, Satou squints at that. Hana must come from a world with perfect weather.]

I wouldn't say that... The sky and the sea are both really dangerous. So is land. Maybe you just don't know anything about the ocean?

Perhaps..there's just so many dangerous things below, and they're not kind.

My Family and I went for a swim one time and encountered a strange marine creature. We tried talking with it, but it instead went to attack us. It bit apart of my friend's tail-!

It was freaky!

[Satou shakes her head.]

I mean, there are scary and dangerous people and animals wherever you go... But that's not the ocean's fault. The ocean is just a big home for everyone.

That's true... I've never been bitten or hurt in the sky, though. Or on land for that matter.

[well, not until their huge battle/war, she shivered]

...Wait. Are there people that live in the ocean? Humans adapted to do that?

Well, I don't think humans live in the ocean. But the earliest of human civilizations back home would live by the ocean, and even on the ocean. The ocean is full of food and resources!

Do you like fish?

Oh-then yeah, our humans did that. They created so many tools~

[beams, proud of her little humans]

Me..? Oh, yes. But they're so rare, and they won't let us eat their dead... [whines a little] We only eat those ready to pass, so it's so, so rare...but so delicious..

Hmm... That's an interesting system...?

But I guess, dead fish get eaten by other fish... and then become bigger fish, ne? That's how the circle of life thing goes.
