[ There's a confused looking girl with long black hair waking up in the bay today. What do you mean she's been here before? Poppycock and balderdash, she's obviously never been! As she emerges from the Bay, she automatically calls out to see if any familiar people are near. Of course, said familiar people would be her family, but hey, beggers can't be choosers. Eventually she turns on the feed. ]

I ..think this is working? I don't know how I ended up in a place like this - My name is Akane Tendo. Can someone direct me to where the Tendo Dojo is? Maybe I was sleepwalking... but I've never done that before.

I read through this 'brochure' that was left by me when I woke up but - it's just some kind of wild joke right?

[ Actually she's already as much guessed it wasn't a joke. It was a little depressing to think she was taken away from her home and everything and everyone she knew. ]

And if not then I want to speak to the one responsible for dragging me here.

[She just smiles, she is getting use to people being like that.]

It's fine, I mean a lot of people here have never seen a pegasus before, so I'm use to it here.

Well.. pegasu.. pegasi are supposed to be a myth so .. I'm not surprised. But at the same time you're real and here, and it is kind of rude.

Oh... I didn't know they were considered myths elsewhere.

Well..sure. You don't exactly hear mention of pegasi or anything like you except for in books. Dragons, unicorns, everything like that - it's kind of amazing to see one right in front of me. Um. Sort of.

So..what do you make of this place?

Oh, so dragons and unicorns are in books too. {She knows those exist where she is from too, but dragons are scary.]

Well.. it's okay. I mean I get stares at a lot, but I've grown use to it.

So -what do you do while you're here, exactly?

Oh, I look after animals. [At least she admits it at least.]

I don't have many at the moment, but give it time.

You care for them all by yourself?

I do. [She is slightly proud that she can even here do the job she knew she could do.]

It takes a lot of work, but I can do it.

[ Akane grins. ] Well I'll root for you too. You seem to have adjusted here pretty well for all things considered.

[She gives a small nod.]

Yes, but uh... I wish I was home though. I mean, this place is nice and all, but home is something else.

What's it like, where you're from?

It's really nice and everypony is kind and caring and and knows everypony.

It's the best place for me because of my work.

Sorry - you must miss it, being stuck in a place like this. It's good that you seem to be adjusting pretty well here though. Is it very different, between your home and here?

I do... I mean I'm sure everyone here missed home, not just me. [Different is probably an understatement right about now.]

Well for one...hewmans, or people don't exist where I'm from, so that is a big difference.

Unfortunately, I do not believe any of us have much idea how we ended up in this place...Or who is responsible.

Indeed! I was in the process of combing my beautiful hair in anticipation of my rival's arrival to our epic duel, when I awaken here!

..not really. I mean, I usually get all sweaty when I'm fighting someone anyway. It doesn't matter what I look like, what matters is that I win.

You must understand, Mademoiselle… Earning a victory is important, yes, but when one as beautiful as moi has a reputation to keep, it is simply unthinkable to turn up to a battle unprepared! Let alone my grand re-entrance!

There are not many as beautiful as moi in the Netherworld… too many are so crass in their style of battle~

You said you were a fighter, Mademoiselle?

Sort of. I'm a martial artist - I'm heir to the Anything Goes school of Martial Arts. That being said I don't exactly go out looking for a fight.

The 'Anything Goes School of Martial Arts'? A curious name for a Dojo.

Well it's not really the name of the Dojo - it's the name of the fighting style. Its principles borrow from a lot of other different kinds of martial arts disciplines, to provide a more flexible and adaptable way of fighting.

Well, being able to adapt to any battle is definitely an advantage. Has it served you well so far?

Sure has! If it weren't for my skill in martial arts I'd probably be having to date ...ugh.. Kuno-sempai, or one of the other boys in class.

[ What a pain in the neck THAT would be. ]

So you use your skills to fend off suitors? An interesting use of power.

Ugh, it's more annoying than anything else. I'd rather not have to fight them off every single morning. Because of Kuno-sempai I have to leave extra early or I'll end up being late for school.

You fight this Kuno-sempai very morning? That is…quite impressive persistence on his part.

Not just him, but the entire male student body. [ Grouse. ] The jerk told them that if they wanted to date me, they'd have to defeat me in a fight. I manage to fend them off easily enough, but sempai - if he really got serious in a fight, I'm not sure I'd be able to win. [ It's probably the one time she was grateful he held back ..but only a little because it was annoying knowing that she probably wouldn't be able to win if he used his full strength. ]
