[Yoinked into another dimension, no clear way of getting home, no real explanation of how he ended up here ... just the certainty that he was probably gonna be here a while.

[Looks like it's one of those days.]

[Video feed snaps open to reveal a young man. He's good-looking in that all-American, captain-of-the-football-team kinda way - square jaw, broad shoulders that imply a muscular frame, eyes verging on too blue. He'll be unfamiliar to anyone who happens to look in, but he doesn't look as ... harried, as you might expect a new arrival to look, considering the situation he's suddenly found himself in.]

Hey, Genessia.

Sooo ... you can probably guess I'm kinda new around here. I'm Superboy--

[Wait. Alternate dimension. Comic books have existed in the other universes he's visited so that might not sound too weird, but it probably sounds conceited as all hell to introduce yourself that way if people aren't used to capes.]

Kon. Kon works too. [Whoops.] Sorry, I kinda do the whole superhero thing back home, so starting with the codename is just reflex at this point.

[He pauses for a second, sucking in air through his teeth before:]

Gonna be honest here, I have no idea what else to say. Like, none.

[Because despite the fact that hopping across the multiverse is something he's done, this particular shindig is uncharted territory.]

I figure anyone from home who's here is probably gonna see this, but on the off-chance they don't, if any of you guys know anyone from Young Justice, the Teen Titans, the JLA ... send 'em my way if you don't mind. That'd be awesome.

Any y'know, any word on figuring out how to get home'd be pretty sweet.

[Athos squints his eyes as he takes a good look at this bloke. While everyone in this odd world hail from very strange and unusual worlds, this lad looks almost too ordinary for his liking. Besides the poor clothing, this young man looks like he could've came from anywhere.

However, there's something off about the youth that strikes the musketeer as odd. For one thing, the accent seems different than that of an standard Englishman but he's speaking perfect English. Maybe Athos is being rather critical but this youth doesn't seem English.

Hell, he doesn't even seem European.]

A superhero...?

[Though there's this little air of what sounds like sarcasm that leaves him wondering if Robbie the Robot here is messing with him.]

Pretty much! For some of us it's kind of better to be here than it is to be back home, but that's a select few people. [She's not fond of being dead for real if she goes home, so this place is certainly better in her experience at least.]

Bit of Metropolis city boy, a little dash of Hawaiian surfer, a big ol' helping of mid-western drawl ... a little bit of everywhere he's lived thrown into a blender, and the result is hard to place even for someone from the same time period.

[A newcomer. And he's cute. Probably shouldn't be thinking that, since her break-up with Mercury is still fresh, and his disappearance is even fresher, but there it is. Besides, it's just a thought, and she likes that he's being calm about it.]

[She glances away, mulling it over as her thumb taps against the side of the comm device. He's got plenty of people willing to help him out already, he doesn't really need her. But...]

[Yeah, why not. He looks strong. At the very least it might be worth getting in touch with him just to pick up a decent sparring partner. She flicks the switch and sits back on her motorcycle seat with a creak of leather.]

[She grins with a playful, lazy salute of her fingers. How you doin'.]

You probably had your question answered already. This place does take some getting used to, but on the whole? It's not that bad. With the whole 'time stops on your real world while you're here' deal, it's kind of like a mini-vacation, and a chance to get to know a lot of people you normally wouldn't.

There's still plenty of criminals and monsters that need punching, though, if you want to keep up with the heroic deeds.

['Punching Spaniards' actually gets a little bit of a laugh out of him, because wow that was out of left field - but it does give him a little idea of who he's talking to.

[Not specifically or anything, but this guy seems like he's not exactly in his usual time-frame.]

Definitely not a soldier. No general or nothing ordering me around. It's more of a ... I don't know ... travelling knight kinda deal? Go around, righting wrongs, punching evil-doers whether or not they're Spanish.

[Considering Kon was like fourteen when he started doing the hero thing, this isn't particularly surprising. But he does raise a confused eyebrow.]

[He might not be particularly disoriented, buuuut that doesn't mean he's got any idea what's going on.]

[Is that not what one does? Athos comes from a time where the Spanish aren't very friendly towards Frenchmen like him. In some truth, he's somewhat prejudice but Athos is clear of conscious. He can find good in others despite their lineage. Although, he's not without some faults.
