[ Lucy doesn't often make broadcasts on this thing, tending to be out and about on jobs or visiting friends more often. She's a social butterfly, she is. But she does believe Erza had at least a few friends here, and she should at least let them know - even if they probably already guessed if they tried reaching her. ]

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you were acquainted with her, a friend of mine, Erza Scarlet, has ...

[ She paused, suddenly glancing away. ]

She's not here anymore. If you had arrangements with her, I guess we can still try to accomodate them - depending on what they were.

[ The same goes for Zeref of course. But still, Lucy was in a surprisingly good mood for someone with such somber words. ]

As for the rest, if anyone needs me, I'll be at the guild for a while yet. I need a break..! [ So much of everything ever going on! ]

[Almost as soon as Lucy finished her recording, a very gentle nudge came from Virgo's key down their link. It wasn't exactly words like Leo sometimes did, but it was both a gentle reminder that they were all there with her still and a slight question on if Lucy wanted some company. Virgo probably wasn't the only one making such a 'ping' either.]

Erza is gone?

{ That's... unexpected. Was it like Exsilium, with people being brought here and sent back with no warning in either direction? }

... I'm sorry, Lucy.

[Once the video is finished, there'll be a metal hand resting on Lucy's head and a cup of tea placed next to her just before Gildarts returns to the bar to pour himself something to drink.]

How you holding up, Lucy?

[Of all the news he expected this wasn't it. Erza was more or les the one keeping them all in line. Even without that though they had still lost a dear part of their family. So rather than contact Lucy over the device he just walks in through the door.]

Lucy?

[He calls out not spotting her right away.]

[Sure, he has no idea who the girl or her friend are, but the least he can do is offer condolences, right?]

You have my sympathies. It's never easy to lose a friend.

[ Lucy glanced down at the key at her side, smiling fondly. Somehow she wasn't surprised she was receiving several 'pings' along the link. Between her guildmates and her spirits, they of course wouldn't let her be sad alone. Company wasn't so bad an idea either; she unhooked the key from her side. Come on out friend~! ]

Open, Gate of the Maiden - Virgo~!

[ She smiled absently, shaking her head. ]

It's okay, Zeref. It's probably better that she's back home, all things considered. And she might return yet.

[ That happened in Exsilium once. And she'd be lying if she said she didn't want to see Erza here again. ]

[ Lucy nudged her phone aside with a sigh, jumping a bit in surprise at the hand on her head. Smiling appreciatively at the cup of tea, she glanced over her shoulder ot where Gildarts sat. ]

Thank you, Gildarts.

I'm..okay. It's good that Erza's back home, considering what's going on, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss her already.

[ And Erza had left before Lucy could tell her about the latest development with Natsu too. Even though she probably already suspected. Just like everyone else, with the exception of one or two people. Glancing over towards the door at the sound of her name, she cast a small smile towards the door. At least he was still here. ]

Over here, Natsu.

[ A faint smile of appreciation at that. ]

Thank you. It's probably best that she's back home, but.. it's kind of like losing a family member, with her not here anymore.

[He nods, returning the smile.]

Family is really important. I know we just met, but... Is there anything I can do that might cheer you up? I imagine you're probably stuck here like the rest of us.

Perhaps. { Come to think of it, he hasn't checked to see if any of those 'archway' things have opened up a way back to Eath Land lately... }

Were you aware of the deal I had with her?

[SHe likely figured it out before them. Erza could be more perceptive than most. And she had confronted him about it somewhat back in Exsilium. Unfortunately that happened on the day Lucy got attacked by that vampire asshole.

Still with Lucy found, Natsu made his way over to her seat and quietly joined before snaking an arm around her back.]

Hey. You feeling okay?

[Because she didn't look completely okay.]

[He's quiet for a long moment, trying to think of something to say to cheer her up. But... he kind of came up blank. He never had been good with this sort of thing really.]

We'll all get home eventually, I promise. And when we do, there will be a party the likes of which you've never seen before.

You going to be okay, Lucy-san?

[ Not unless someone wanted to sacrifice a precious memory it wouldn't. ]

It was about if your book appeared here, right?

I know we will. It's not the first time Erza's been sent back to Earthland from another world like this.. but... [ It would have been nice if they at least were able to see her off. She smiles a bit at the latter. ]

I have a feeling it'd be similar to the one that was thrown when we came back from Edolas.

[ She scooted closer to slip her arm around his back in turn, leaning against his side. ]

Yeah, I'll be okay. You don't have to worry, Natsu. [ She'd shake herself out of it, thanks to the concern of her fellow guildies and her spirits. ]

It's just strange not seeing her now.

[ Awww. Her smile warms a little, and she shakes her head. ]

That's really nice of you to offer, but I'll be okay. I won't say no to friendly conversation though. I'm Lucy - you're new here, right?

[ YOU. YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! ... hi. ]

Battler..? I'll be okay - I've got everyone here still with me, and Virgo and the others - I'm not alone here, and it's not the first time this kind of thing has happened, but..

[He just pulled her in as close as he could and nuzzled against her shoulder lightly.]

Mmmm yeah. It's weird. SHe was kinda the one keeping things in line around here. Not that I'd ever say that to her face.

[ If she leaned against him anymore she'd be in his lap. Not that she'd mind getting that close, but it'd be embarrassing if someone walked in at that moment. Instead she took comfort in him being close and warm and -him-. ]

You didn't have to - she'd know, easily. Especially when it came to the rooming situation.

[ MAN did it get frustrating for them. But she still kind of wished Erza was still around regardless. And she might still return yet. She nuzzled her cheek against his with a faint sigh. ]

I feel like we should buy a cake - or make one - in her honor or something.

[He takes his drink and moves to sit closer to Lucy.]

I never did get to properly thank you for all you've done for Cana and me, so, if there's anything you need, or anything I can do to help, just let me know, okay?

[BEEN A WHILE.]

...She'll be there for you when you go home, right?

[they're from the same world, he's certain.] She might be gone for now, but this isn't goodbye.

[He wouldn't say no to that. But now wasn't the time for that kind of thoughts. Lucy was down and she needed some cheering up. As her partner and now much more, it was up to him to do that.]

Yeah that rooming problem she kept bringing up.

[He'd already started on the foundations of his future house so even though the main reason for it in the first place was gone, he still had every bit of intent to finish it.]

Better make sure it's strawberry too~

[He chuckled and nuzzled against her cheek more openly this time.]
