[It's been a little while since she's arrived in Genessia - taking to herself for the most part and learning what she can from others. She's kept a low presence on the network due to the situation she'd just gotten out of - but it seemed like this world was not anything like she feared it might be.
Plus, eggs! People seemed pretty happy with the sudden abundance of eggs. Maybe a proper introduction was in order.
She waves from her end.]
Hi, Genessia City! And... the other cities! I'm... sorta new here, it's not my first day or anything... but hi! My name is Aoi Asahina, and I'm the Super High School Level Swimmer. [... A monochrome bear isn't going to pop up now that she's said that, right???] It's nice to meet you all!
Um, I know it's a long shot... but anyone from home happen to be here? Anyone with... well, a title like mine, I guess. [She doesn't remember anyone outside of her class, whoops.] If not, well, don't worry about what the title means too much.
While I'm thinking about it, though, I wanna know more about you all. Tell me one thing about yourself! A hobby you like to do, a nickname you had as a kid, or your favorite food!
Well, ciao! [She shuts off the feed.]

[It's not hard to spot Asahina, who's taken to getting some of the eggs, but only a few! She knows she shouldn't be eating a lot of chocolate. Half the time she seems to be trying to help others get eggs and offloading some of her eggs into others' piles so she doesn't feel so guilty about hoarding them.
Poke her?]

[Oriental words are a rough subject for him. Speaking of...]
In exchange, might you tell me the full meaning of both your names? Kanji proves as fascinating as it is frustrating.

I suppose my favorite food is ravioli.
Video
I guess we're both new, then!
Ravioli is pretty good, but my favorite food will always be donuts. [A beat.] I-I try not to eat them very often, but it's nice to have one every so often. [Quite often.]

That's understandable. I have a sweet tooth myself. [ Humans made excuses about not avoiding things they enjoyed for some reason, though! ]
I take it your hobby is swimming.
video;
Are you from Hope's Peak? I... assume so because of the title alone. [Unless there were other schools that had such things, then she felt pretty confident.]
If so, I'm Chiaki Nanami. I'm the Super High School Level Gamer. [If the Arcade did not give that away.] At least back home I was. here that title doesn't really matter as much.
video;
It's nice to meet you, Nanami-san. And... considering what's happened back home, maybe it's better that the titles don't matter. [She can't remember ever meeting Chiaki, but her lost memories might be the cause of that. She does recognize her from what memories she had prior to attending the school, though.] It doesn't seem like anyone from my class is here, though.
video;
[She figured that as well, though after what happened to her she has little to no clue what the world was actually like. She is aware of some details with a couple of her friends, but nothing too major.]
The odds of your friends turning up is low but possible. I had a couple come here before, but they left a while back. [And that had been a long time ago now.]
Just gotta have hope they'll turn up someday.

Is that really hard to learn?

Which isn't good!
