[It looks like Yang. But her hair is a mottled mess of splotchy puke green and clown orange.]

[She also looks mad as hell, if the little sparks flickering at the edges of her ridiculously ugly mane is any indication.]

You know what? All I wanted was one chocolate egg. Instead? I'm dealing with this.

[She points sharply at her hair, purple eyes flashing to red.]

So yeah, I'm not in the mood to put up with a lot of the usual stupidity this place cranks out right now! You need help? I've got your back. Give me a call, whether I'm on-duty in Nova or not.

But now is not a good time to go around being a public jerk, especially if it's on my turf. That's all the warning you're going to get.

[She snaps off the feed. ...Maybe someone should go toss her a chocolate egg. Tease about her hair at your own risk.]

[Ah yes that kind of glare. Chiaki gave it to him a few times and he knew when to shut up, or he was dead. Which is why he is trying his hardest to not chuckle or anything. Just do not laugh, Naoki! Just ask her for training and--]

[Goddamn it.]

[Her fierce crimson eyes lock onto Naoki's face. For a moment her teeth clench before her lashes lower. The expression is dispassionate, but it's more than obvious he's treading on shaky turf.]

Something funny, Naoki?

[Okay scary glare brought him back. He even pinches his cheek in order not to laugh. He's even doing it with the black and white gauntlets, Beowulf, that Dante gave him. His smile is a forced one. And naturally, he is trying to hold in the pain.]

Nothing. Nothing at all.

[His Pixie suddenly pops into view, blinking at Yang's hair.]

"...wow, your hair looks like--GAH!"

[Before she even has time to finish, Naoki punches the demon off the screen. If Yang listened close, she might hear a large crash in the distance, followed by some little swear words as Naoki speaks again.]

Totally normal and in no way funny! That's what she meant.

It's far from 'normal.' But you're right about the rest. It's not funny.

[She folds her arms in a huff. She's unusually cranky about the whole situation, and far from her ordinarily sunny self.]

So did you call just to say all that, or was there something you wanted?

[He finally let's go of his cheek....and even with the glowing tattoos, a bruise already formed there. He tries to be serious, which is easy given what happened earlier.]

Yeah. I was hoping you would be up for a training session. Dracula promising to be Vlad the Impaler doesn't sit well with me. That and I kinda need to learn some more martial arts...

[Guess who got beaten by Dante. Again.]

[Ugh, that guy. At least Yang was a little reassured at seeing how many people were willing to step up and fight if they needed to.]

Sure, why not. I can meet you at the gym around say, four?

Sure thing. I'll see you--GAH!

[Now it's Naoki's turn to fly off the screen, with Pixie flying into view, large lightning bolts forming from her tiny hands.

She briefly stops before getting closer.]

"The following is not rated for all audiences. He will meet you there after I am done."

[With a surprisingly calm smile, she turns off the feed.]

Sounds like a tough round.

[Sadao is sorting eggs. He's been afflicted to the max with his full demonic form, so most of them just shrug off due to demonic powers being supercharged right now.]

Though, if you want actual chocolate eggs, I've sorted all the ones that appeared in the pizza place into tricks and actual harmless ones. Other than that, I'll be tossing all of them out soon. It's all I've been doing today.

[It's so dumb. But that chocolate egg was all she really wanted, and her shoulders sag as her anger deflates. She's not even phased by his demonic appearance, he's offering chocolate and talking like anyone else would.]

If you're offering? I'll take two.

[She deserves two.]

Haven't seen you before. I'm Yang.

[Yang stares at the blank screen for a long moment. Then she pockets it.]

Didn't see that coming...

[Hopefully he won't be too messed up to fight. She'll go easy on him. For now, she'll go back to her rounds and keep an eye on the time.]

I'll get you three. It seems like you've had a rough day.

[he grins a little, as he holds up three normal chocolate eggs.] I'll put them in a bag and run them out to you.

I'm Sadao Maou, I've come in under the radar but I work in the pizzeria.

[... she's actually kinda terrifying when she's mad. The genuine fear cancelled out any and all urge to laugh at the dye job she'd evidently been given, which is very good, because he likes living.]

Doing okay, dude?

[That's all he's got right about now.]

Geraldi's, right? I know where that is. I don't mind swinging by.

[And she has no objections to three. Bring on that chocolate.]

Thanks. Kinda needed this.

[It's halfway between a terse, cold statement and a hot, impatient growl. His life remains preserved.]

No magic eggs yet, so ... pretty okay?

This kinda thing happen a lot here?

[Yang sighs. That's right, he's new. She doesn't need to bite his head off over this. Looking a little guilty, she glances away.]

About every month or two. Sometimes it's harmless, sometimes you've got monsters rampaging in the streets. It's hard to predict. Typically it's a good idea to keep an eye on the communicator when stuff like this starts happening so you know what to avoid. Magic eggs would be one of those things.

Good to know. [A beat.] I figure this all kinda straightens itself out sooner or later, though, right?

...Yeah. It's not permanent.

[There's a small shake of her head before she looks back at the screen.]

But it still pisses me off.

[And there's a little crack of a grin.]

Not a problem. It would take some time off my workload.

[Sadao nods as he adds,] Lunch rush is about to begin too. If you're looking for cheap pizza too, there's the weekly lunch special.

[She chuckles, shaking her head.]

You're quite the sales guy, Sadao.

[She hasn't had pizza in a while. There's a reason for that. It's a stupid reason, and she knows it, so maybe it's time to start working on that.]

Does the special include the pizza with ham and pineapple on it?

[Naoki arrives at the gym at the right time. Although given the lightning attacks he suffered and the punching, he looked like none of that happened; healing magic was a wonderful thing. Pixie is by his side too, sitting on his shoulder, although she still looks miffed.]

I try to be. I'm working from the bottom so I need to get back to Manager again.

[He grins a little, nodding.]

The special is a medium two topper pizza with any combination you want, so yeah, you can get a Hawaiian style pizza which is ham and pineapple.

Sign me up for one of those then.

[She pauses for a second.]

...And add on whatever it costs for extra pineapple.

You got it. Want extra cheese, stuffed crust which is more herb seasoned cheese in the crust, or a soda while you're at it?

[He's ringing up the order right now, and putting in a fourth chocolate egg. Seriously he can't get rid of them.]

Yeah, I'll take a soda.

[She won't object to the extra egg either, once she finds it.]
