[Video] [Action for Genessia City and Fayren]
[The feed flicks on with an out of focus closeup of a much younger Namur's face. It's hard to tell at first, though, as he's moving the communicator in all directions as if he's not sure what it is. He sets it against something on a chest of drawers where it continues recording, though he doesn't seem to realize it. He moves to the window, and here the change is more obvious. His frame is tall and broad-shouldered as usual, but his body hasn't filled in yet, the tattoos on his face, hands, and arms conspicuously missing. He squints at the outside world below, then gapes, his voice a hiss.]
Humans!
[He backs away from the window quickly and starts checking his skin for something, and once all easily visible skin is cleared he strips and checks everywhere else in a mirror. Everywhere. Good thing he's close enough to the communicator by that point that it only shows from his chest up. He breathes a sigh of relief.]
No Dragon mark.
[His voice is younger too, though he's still a good six feet tall. But he relaxes visibly, and starts poking through stuff on the chest. He finds a pair of sunglasses that he puts on, pulling what he must assume to be a tough expression while he folds skinny arms across his chest.]
Badass!
[But the sunglasses slide right off his face, having been designed for a larger head, and he picks them up sheepishly. There's noise from another part of the apartment then, a voice of someone he doesn't recognize. Namur swears and fumbles his way back into his clothes, looking guilty as he grabs a wallet and some round vaguely edible smelling objects off the drawers. Finally, he looks at the communicator again, about to leave it, then impulsively grabs it as well, clicking the feed off in the process.]
[Action- Genessia City]
[There's something lurking in the southwest area of the city, clearly trying to be stealthy and failing miserably. Namur doesn't trust humans, and so he's attempting to sneak around. But he's six feet tall already and not done growing, so He keeps tripping over things like crates, garbage cans, and his own two feet. Every time he does he cries out in dismay then freezes, as if by remaining still, people might not notice him, even when he winds up in the middle of pedestrian traffic.]
[Action for Fayren]
[By evening, Namur will have made his way to Fayren, drawn inevitably by the call of the sea. He can be found a bit braver, walking out in the open and gawking at the wonders of the surface as he makes his way to the ocean. He's so distracted, in fact, that he's likely to run into someone on accident.]

[Action - Genessia]
[Her expression doesn't even so much as flicker as she takes in the gangly teenage shark boy. Fewer tattoos than she remembers, but she's fairly certain she recognizes him. With so many people popping up as children in this place, it really doesn't take much inductive reasoning to figure out what's going on.]
You lost weight. You'll have to tell me your secret; my clients are always complaining about that kind of thing.
[She folds her arms loosely, a ham sandwich in a plastic baggy lightly held in her manicured fingers.]
Are you okay?
Re: [Action - Genessia]
[What? No he is not okay! His body is paralyzed, his heart has stopped beating, and he can't breathe, what part of any of that would be "okay"?!?
Oh wait, there it all goes. He froze off balance and fell over and that seems to have been enough to bypass his panic mode.]
Please don't capture me! Ma says I ain't no good at doin' what she says so I'd make a real shitty slave!
[Action - Genessia]
You're making a mess. What would I do with a slave?
[It's a little insulting to make that kind of assumption. She moves toward him with an unhurried pace, uncrossing her arms to hold her hand out to him, hand open, to help him up if he chooses to take it.]
Hmmmm. Seems like you don't remember anything about being here in Genessia. No one seems interested in enslaving anybody. I'd avoid Everglade anyway just to be safe, though. I'm Mira.
Re: [Action - Genessia]
[He presses his lips together with uncertainty, hesitating several seconds before moving to take her offered hand. He's never been around humans before, what if they give him cooties or something?! But in the end he does take it, vaulting himself up to his feet.]
What's an everglade and a jenessla?
[Action - Genessia]
[It seems he doesn't remember anything about this place, or her for that matter. That does make her wonder if he'll remember anything about this experience when he reverts. She really can't say, and that's a shame. There's a lot she could do if people conveniently didn't remember any of it.]
As far as I know, slavery isn't legal. I don't think you'll have anything to worry about other than some funny looks from the more..."sheltered" people living in Attleton.
[She flicks a wax-tipped cotton swab from his shoulder with her fingers.]
But if you're worried, you can hide back here as long as you like. It's not exactly ideal, though, is it?
[Action - Genessia]
[He glances around, pulling in air through his mouth. He looks very possibly on the verge of tears.]
But there's so many, 's too hard...
[When his voice wavers at the end he cuts off, swallowing and taking another deep breath. He's going to be strong! And he's a little curious about the nice old lady helping him out.]
Really think it'll be okay?
[Action - Genessia]
OLD?!?!?! WHY YOU--He's making so many curious expressions. Really, the structure of his face is so different that Mira has a hard time understanding the emotions he's putting into the story. Is it a happy one? Sad? Funny?][At least he makes it easy by asking her a question. That much, at least, she can answer with a single nod.]
These things will pass. Besides, I don't think anyone around these parts carries a net to begin with. You can always bite them if they try, that will make them think twice.
[She makes a light gesture, and the quiet crinkle of the plastic baggie draws her attention back to the ham sandwich she brought with her. Namur is no dog, but he is a stray, so she supposes she can offer it to him.]
Would you like a sandwich?
[Action - Genessia]
[When she suggests he bite people to make them think twice, it's like a lightbulb going on, and he straightens up considerably.]
Think so? Mean, Ma says I ain't s'posed t' bite folk either but I guess if they's tryna catch me it'd be okay... Jus' the once, right?
[But his eyes narrow at the sandwich. He can only faintly smell a little really dead meat, and lots of other things he's never smelled before. His face scrunches up in disgust.]
Umm. Is that... s'posed t' be food?
[Action : Apartment?]
At the moment, she was peering shyly around the door frame. Whoever she was, she would definitely smell human.]
Vho are you?
Re: [Action : Apartment?]
[He flails and tries to back out the window but gets tangled up in his own feet and plops down on his butt, glancing his head on the sill and hissing in pain.]
Ow, shit.
[He's not crying, that's a thing wusses do and he's gotta be strong if he's gonna get away from all these humans. He just got a couple drops of the sea squeezed out of him, that's all. He glances up at her as he rubs his head, realizing she looks like a mermaid his own age.]
Y' a captive too?
Re: [Action : Apartment?]
Captive? I.. don't zhink zo. At last, I don't zhink vere captives here.
Re: [Action : Apartment?]
Wanna sneak out anyway, jus' in case?
[He has someone's wallet and a weird talking box they can sell, they'll probably be fine on their own for a few days at least]
Re: [Action : Apartment?]
Zounds like fun. It's boring in zhis apartment anyvy.
[Action : Apartment?]
[Namur rubs the back of his head one last time, and stands up carefully.]
Um. There's a lotta humans on the road outside here when I looked. Was there anyone in the other room?
Re: [Action : Apartment?]
[She still had that mischievious grin as she darted towards a closet.]
If you're vorried about being zeen, zhen lets hide you! It could be fun!
[At least she thought so until she realized that there were a few suits that definitely wouldn't fit him hanging up. They looked like they were meant for someone skinny like her and much taller.]
Huh, vonder vho vears zhese?
[Action : Apartment?]
I'unno, but I sure as hell ain't gonna fit in 'em. Look at this!
[He reaches around her and pulls one of the suits out of the closet, holding it up to his chest. Even thin as he is, it still only covers about half of him.]
Maybe it'd fit on y' better if y's a li'l older. Kinda smells like y' on it.
Oh! I never got yer name. Um. I'm Namur. Nice to meetcha!
Re: [Action : Apartment?]
Just call me Rip. It's nice to meet you Namur... but, vat do you mean zhe suit smells like me? I've never vorn a zhing like zhat in my life!
[Though now..? She was definitely wondering if wearing something like that when she was older would help...]
[Action : Apartment?]
.... Now I think 'bout it, this place kinda smells like me, too.
How long've we been here?
[There's an edge to his tone, like maybe some of the original panic might be coming back.]
Re: [Action : Apartment?]
[She pauses in examining the suit more to look back towards him as she takes a minute to think.]
Um.... I've been here a few days und haf had no problem going in und out. But, Zhis is zhe first time I've seen you here.
[Hana giggled from seeing him]
You don't seem very fond of humans, do you?
Re: [Video]
[That rather insightful exclamation over with, Namur starts working on what was said.]
Oh, um. I... don't actually know any humans yet. But I hear they're mean, an' they're always comin' 'round tryna catch folk in nets t' sell 'em! So's best t' stay 'way if y' can, yanno?
Re: [Video]
Most of them won't. I assure you. This is a safe place, young one.
[Says the child standing already six feet tall...]
[Action- Genessia City]
W-who's there!?
Re: [Action- Genessia City]
[He also had no idea where that voice came from. We're the walls going to talk to him now?]
[Action- Genessia City]
A ghost!
[Action- Genessia City]
Where?!?
[He balls his hands into fists and swings around, too fast to really do anything useful other than give himself vertigo and trip over his own feet with a yelp.]
[Action- Genessia City]
Monster! [He wants to back away but he's too scared to move.] Please don't eat me.
Re: [Action- Genessia City]
Why would I wanna eat a-
[He squints, pretty sure he's found the source of the voice.]
The hell're you?
no subject
[The kitten is still cowering because the other creature is so big and he's about to get eaten, he's sure, and that means he will never get to see his Masha again, which that makes him really sad...so good luck, Namur, you're now dealing with a crying kitten.]
action genessia;
He-Hello... [He seemed nervous more than anything as he made his way closer.]
Why were you behind me? [he soon stop, slowly dawning on him that the other wasn't exactly human. But then, what was he?]
Re: action genessia;
[And after a moment, cuz Ma taught him right.]
Um. Please?
action genessia;
Is there a reason you are asking nicely. I mean I will, but why do you want to pretend I didn't see you?
action genessia;
action genessia;
[In all honesty, he wasn't sure if people would actually believe in anything he said. he knew nothing of this world or what they would be like around someone like him, or what people believed him to be. After all, this could be a country next to Valeria, which seemed likely.]
