Arrival of the Demon King (ACTION for Genessia & Fayren)
(ACTION)
[Out from one prison and into another, it feels like. But one that is not sealed with magic. Definitely not the same seal Morrison and his allies placed on him all those years ago. No, this sarcophagus was easy enough to leave.
Though there was more than just mild confusion. He vividly recalls being in 4202 A.C, in the realm belonging to Midgards. He was forced to retreat by mere humans who gained access to magic.
He. Was. LIVID.
Humans with MAGIC.
But no Prince would sully his appearance by letting rage overtake him. He needed to return to Midgards and finish his crusade against that Kingdom's magitech and anyone who dared use it. Though he attempts, nothing happens. Was something blocking his magic? He may as well leave this dreary excuse of a mausoleum and see where, or when he is. Since he was riding the Stream of Time prior to awakening in that tomb.
Dhaos, this imposing figure of a man emerges from The Bay, draped in flowing golden hair and a regal cloak of orange and yellow, floats about with a contents of a box he found, all of which also floated around him as a blue and red orb orbited around him in perfect synch.
And he was appalled by what he sees. Mysterious technology, run on a magics that is foreign to him. All controlled by HUMANS. It sickens him, and does nothing more but remind him why he wars with Midgards in the first place. All he sees is a callous race of beings, working towards assured destruction for mere comforts and greed.
Dhaos wants nothing more than to just go right on ahead and just eradicate every bit of magitech that litters this human town. And yet... He doesn't sense mana, nor Yggdrasil.
You'll be pardoned for now, little human town. However, that doesn't mean he'll suffer their presence. A quick glance at a brochure reveals a city called "Fayren," which bares semblance to villages in Aselia, particularly in the Realm of Euclid. That will do. Until he can leave this wretched place, he'll find, or create, a place in Fayren.
All though this device, which the brochure claims to be for communication? Dhaos despises any and all forms of magitech, so he's going to throw it away without so much as a wave of a hand. Along with the useless brochures.
Unfortunately, the discarded device and brochures flies at a random passer-by. Are you going to take that? Not only did he throw items at you, but he's also littering.
((NOTE: Dhaos can have thrown the device at you in either Genessia or Fayren.
NOTE 2: His name is pronounced "Douse." PUN AWAY.))

[action]
Hey watch where you're throwing things, jerk!
[action]
Indeed, a human. Glaring right at him. Not even here an hour, and already humans are enraged. Typical.]
Is there a problem, human?
Re: [action]
[She's holding up the phone and then throws it right back at his head, hoping she hits him back. See how you like it...]
[action]
something...
It hits something, but it just falls. Dhaos just watches it fall and hit the ground with a clatter. Physical means aren't the best ways to show him who's boss. Then he just glances back to her with a bored and unamused gaze.]
...Do you feel better? Have you given it your all to achieve what little satisfaction you desire?
no subject
She's only JUST landed from her morning flight and is about to let her wings fade when something's being thrown her direction. On instinct, she immediately curls a wing about her, shielding her from whatever it is. The glow of Light around her dims exponentially, exhilaration falling to... ultimately confusion and irritation. She's still trying to catch her breath from her workout and someone's throwing phones at her?!
Wearing only a pair or expensive high waist leggings and a loosely fitted (yet almost entirely backless) shirt in the chill of winter, she fixes the newcomer with a look before she bends to pick up the device and wave it at him.]
Dropped something?
no subject
So he was mistaken. Not a human, but a plumed one. Interesting. So this one is a lot like... Never mind.]
Merely refuse. Keep it or destroy it. It's of no use to me.
[Preferably destroy it. Magitech is dangerous to be in the hands of humans.]
no subject
But she is too.]
You sure? They actually come in handy more often than not. You might want to hold onto it.
no subject
Useful or not, I'll be the judge of that.
[He doesn't fully face her, he just extends a hand from his cloak for her to place the communicator in.]
sass
[She stands her ground, holding the device and raising a brow at him. Really? He's not even going to properly turn around to talk to her, even after hitting her with his phone?]
no subject
He finally does turn around, giving her a stare as if questioning her what the problem is.]
Well? Or did you change your mind?
no subject
You hit an innocent bystander with your phone and there's not even an apology?
no subject
There are no innocence. Only ignorance.
[He turns his back to her again.]
Again; keep or destroy that abberation you claim to be "useful," or turn it over to me.
no subject
[She just watches him for a moment, before,]
Are you new?
no subject
[Shouldn't be difficult to tell he is.]
I am. But I do not intend to stay willingly.
no subject
no subject
[He's been imprisoned before. While it wasn't a challenge taking control of the feeble minds of man, it took time to escape the mausoleum.
Genessia might prove interesting in the end. But until then, if this woman isn't going to hand over the device, he'll let her keep it.
Dhaos begins to walk away. He has planning to do.]
no subject
[So she picks up the device and flies low toward him awkwardly with it, landing just a few feet nearby.]
Um...I think you dropped this...
no subject
How rood.]
no subject
[Liora pouts as he walks by, not even acknowledging her. How rood indeed. She puffs her cheeks as she's forced to use a little more force. She picks up the device again and glides directly in front of the person this time, holding the device up once again.]
Excuse me! I said, you dropped this!
no subject
I did not "drop" it. Merely discarded it. I've no use for that wretched thing.
no subject
But...it's very useful! You can communicate with everyone else here, and get lots of information about lots of things.
[She's not giving up on it yet, as she continues to hold it out for him.]
no subject
Information, however... He can use. He finally does take it back.]
Very well.
[He still doesn't trust this technology, however. If he can eavesdrop on this world on a regular basis, then it may not be as worthless after all.]
