Report 002 - Action/Video

[Action]

[Some may see Jenny running through the streets of Genessia city for a moment before she suddenly slows down to a walk. It's obvious something happened as their's blood staining her clothes, and a cut on her hand that looks like it had been made by a knife and is currently bleeding. There's a dark bruise around her neck that almost looks like handprints from someone strangling her, and Jenny looks....upset to say the least. Whatever has happened, it obviously wasn't good.]


[Video/Private to Eleven]

[The video clicks on to Jenny's face, and she looks....upset about something, almost scared in her own way, but the most noticeable thing in the video is the dark bruise around her neck. She could try to hide it but....she sees no point since he's bound to see it once she walks into the TARDIS anyway.]

Dad....I've done something I shouldn't have. I need help. I'm worried I might do something worse if I don't ask for it. I'm sorry.....I'm also sorry for anything else I might have done this week or....how I might have been acting. Something...hasn't been right.

[The Doctor's peering into the screen as he answers, studying the details of her expression as much as that bruise.]

...Jenny?

[...at least a couple centuries of Amy and River have given him some experience dealing with people he cares about going way off track, so perhaps it doesn't hit quite as hard as it might have in his previous incarnation. This really really isn't who he'd expected to have this kind of conversation with, though...]

What happened?

I hurt someone. Possibly badly. I don't remember doing it, but considering who it was, I know I'm the one who did it.

[Don't get her wrong, Jenny's fallen off the train before, but she'd been doing good here until now. She just didn't know what the hell had happened. No, she takes that back. Of course she knows what happened. It was some stupid event thing again. Damn split-personality event thing! She feels like she should just be locked in the TARDIS until this is all over or something.]

[...he's not really sure how to take that, so he keeps himself in analytical mode for the moment: focused, not getting emotional about it, not yet, anyway.]

...who's that, then? Are they safe, now, are you safe?

[He pauses just a tick. If there's something out of the ordinary going on, this is the sort of thing that could easily escalate--and it's probably best if she's not standing around on the street looking like she is at the moment while they have this conversation.]

Can you make it to the TARDIS?

[She won't say who, but she'll at least respond to the rest of his questions.]

I don't know about them. I think so. She won't die at least and there was someone there helping her when I.....I tried to help when I came to, but I was made to leave instead.

I'm....heading to the TARDIS already.

[...okay, that's some relief, at least.]

The doors'll be open for you when you get here.

[Which they will--and he'll have a change of clothes for her sitting on the console, as well, as he paces, then goes to check the network while he waits, to see if there's some hint of who it is on there. Of course, he makes sure the screen he's looking at faces away from the doors, so Jenny won't see what he's looking at when she steps inside. No need to get her worrying about what's on his mind.]

[She'd be moving as fast as she could to get to the TARDIS, and soon would be stumbling her way inside and he'd be able to get a look at her physical state as well as her face which said she wasn't thrilled with the situation herself. (See above description of her in the Action section.)]

[Home.....even now it almost felt right and strange at the same time to consider the TARDIS home, but she'd never tell her father that.]

[The Doctor flicks a control on the console to shut the doors behind her once she's inside--he doesn't expect she was followed by anyone with harmful intentions, but can't be too safe, considering the state she's in--and hops down from the console level to get a closer look, guiding her to take a seat on the steps.]

Jenny... c'mere, let me see where you're hurt, there's a change of clothes for after.

There's nothing too physically serious that won't heal easy enough, dad. It's alright. And, the blood isn't mine. Well, except what's on my hand, but that will heal too.

[She seems honestly bothered by whatever recently happened but she seems to almost be starting to clam up a bit.]

[It isn't until she is passing that Padmé truly notices her, too busy going over things that she needed to finish at work, and what items she should pick up for meals. Yet there is surprise as the woman strolls by. For a moment, she simply pauses, before asking.]

Do you... need a hand?

[Jenny stops to glance at the woman who'd spoken to her, and somehow manages to put on a kind of fake smile, not wanting to show her current state of mind as much, though she couldn't hide her disheveled state as easily.]
