[The feed kicks on to a familiar adolescent girl, happily wearing her school uniform that she got on her birthday last month.]
I apologize for coming on the network in my school uniform, but I'm just happy all this rotten egg business is over.
[A happy twirl~ She's a time-locked kid, leave her alone.]
I was beginning to worry that I wouldn't be able to attend my first ever "normal" school at the Second Hunnouji Academy.
Has anyone here attended a school before? If so, can you tell me about what it was like? I was homeschooled, so I don't know what it's like and I would really like to hear your stories.

Eheh. I haven't attended school in a really long time... but when I did, it was important to take notes! Everyone always asked me for my notes. It's how I made all of my friends!
Re: video
Note-taking is actually something I did while homeschooled, to. But you can actually share notes?
I wonder if I'll make friends if I share my notes as well?
[She's actually thinking about asking other students if they want to borrow her notes.]

Plus, it was always the cute girls and boys who got the most attention. Everyone will love you, Ana!
no subject
...Maybe.
[She'll try not to let that thing bring her down though. Changing the subject before it gets any further than the start.]
...So it's been a long time since you attended school? Do you remember what subjects you took?
no subject
There was a lot of math, some language courses, history, science... Ehehe! My sisters found science scary, though. Science can kill spirits, after all. But I did my best anyway!
no subject
[She wonders how? Isn't astronomy a science? She's fascinated by astronomy.]
I think I'll be okay in history and languages. Though I'm not good at math...

Re: Video
[She certainly hopes she won't be bombarded by books to read. She had too much of those back home.]
Re: Video
Things used to be like that, on Earth. Perhaps some still are, but the sort of schooling one got up to, as far as I knew, was a means to an end in establishing a career.
Re: Video
[Yet it wasn't too different to the lessons she was subjected to.]
So Earth students could only get jobs if they graduate from college?
Re: Video
No, thank God. Some, yes, like medical jobs could only be attained upon plenty of college. About eight years, sometimes more. But others, like trade jobs, took little more than, say, acquiring the relevant skills through apprenticeship.
In hindsight I probably should've tried something like that; it would certainly have been more interesting. Useful too.
What were you going to school to learn, Anastasia?
Re: Video
I don't know. My classes haven't been chosen for me yet. I might hear more about that later this month or in May.
I start in June.
Re: Video
Well, good for you all the same. Star--Satsuki's a lovely teacher. Goodness knows I've learned plenty from her.
Re: Video
My lessons then didn't include falconry. Ballroom dancing, Princess ettiquete, law study and history is what I was taught.
Satsuki might arrange me some similar classes, but... Then again, maybe not?
Re: Video
[He's kinda into aminals.]
Aheh, probably not. She can be brutally efficient, sometimes. She's likely to hone in on your greatest weakness and shore that up. She certainly won't waste time rehearsing old material, I'll bet.
That or learn you in oriental affairs; she's very fond of that.
Re: Video
But no, no animal husbandry. But I did have a pony? Does that count?
Re: Video
[That must be some education slang, and not to do with temperature.]
Hmhm, if you mean hippology or lessons in horse-back riding, it would. Can you ride well?
Re: Video
I did sometimes ride, but it wasn't very often. I did get some rides from our Cavalry soldiers before whenever I was in the Military District.
[They were only trying to get Princess Points, though.]
Re: Video
[Sounds like a valuable currency.]
More's the pity. And now we've no horses! I wonder if the same principles would apply to any mounted beast? Like hamsters...
[No reason.]
Re: Video
... hamster?
Well... Maybe there's a chance I can get into flying again? I still have a modified broom.
Re: Video
You haven't met Hamusuke? I think she used to be ridden, once. I'd fain learn how and try that myself.
Ahaha, careful. Wouldn't want any overzealous witch-hunters to get the wrong idea.
[But he'd never do that. Ever.]
Re: Video
But I'm not a witch. And, aren't witches... ugly?
[Ana is cute. No way she can be a witch.]
And no, I don't remember meeting anyone by that name...
Re: Video
You really can't be too careful around those crones.
Aheh, she's interesting to meet for the visuals alone. Should you ever find yourself visiting the Fayren castle, ask for her. I think she's on guard duty there now.
Re: Video
[She stops for a moment... They got off track from the original discussion.]
I forgot what we were talking about before...
Re: Video
Well, hopefully things will turn out as well as we both hope, eh?
Re: Video
I wonder if I'll make new friends my own age there?
Re: Video
So long as you've your priorities. Are there any others enrolling there too?
[
Or is it full of FAAAAAKES]Re: Video
[So chances are some students might be fake.]
Re: Video
Well, I wish you luck in your academic endeavors all the same.
[Audio]
Re: [Audio]
Really? What kind of school is it?
Re: [Audio]
[There were so many normies around, and yet it seemed like there wasn't anyone stopping her from talking to them.]
Re: [Audio]
[Like the actual "grr, rawr" kind of monsters? After being in Everglade at least twice, it feels... possible.]
Am I correct to assume it's in Everglade?
Re: [Audio]
[hesitant to talk about other worlds, not hesitant to talk about Monster High. Because reasons.]
Re: [Audio]
Many of us are.
[She can be quite perceptive...when it's hinted strongly enough.]
My name is Anastasia. What's yours?
Re: [Audio]
[Like all of reality unraveling into narrative.]
Draculaura.
Re: [Audio]
Draculaura...?
[Out of respect, she doesn't ask if she's related to a certain "Impaler." Or any other personal questions.]
It's nice to meet you. Have you been here long?
Re: [Audio]
Yeah, Draculaura.
[She certainly ISN'T. Not to this surly not-dad.]
Just a few hours. I haven't made a blogpost yet.
Re: [Audio]
I see. If you have any questions, I can certainly try to answer them.
Who knows, maybe we might start attending the same school someday.
Re: [Audio]
You're a normie aren't you?
Re: [Audio]
[Normal? Is she? She is a noble, but...]
I try to be? I mean... Back home, I wasn't considered "like them."
[Some people call her a Dark Child.]
Re: [Audio]
Re: [Audio]
[After all, she's made friends with aliens, super heroes, youkai and vampires, so anything is possible.]
Re: [Audio]
My first normie friend...
Re: [Audio]
[Then you'll Have more normie friends!
Though Anastasia does wonder why "normie" is included. She'll ask about it some other time.]
Re: [Audio]
[Normie is short for normal, although Draculaura neglected to mention that.]
[She could only see little of it from bringing her her lunch but still, it looked cool. You got to learn things and read books and talk about the books you'd read. What's not to like?]
Could you attend as a teacher?
[Anastasia wouldn't mind seeing if she could learn something from her.]
Books taught me a lot, too.
[Mavis chuckles a bit at that.] I'm not sure I have what it takes to be a teacher. [And she most likely wouldn't have time to be a teacher with her job as a City Guardian and with her being the Master of Fairy Tail.]
But if you ever need help with homework or some subject in particular, I'll be most happy to help you.
