[No longer split into two halves of his awful whole, Uai has a touch more clarity. He's actually been childishly avoiding the network since things normalized, but even Uai knows he can't hide away forever.

With some level of reluctance, he appears on the feed.]

So, uh... Rough week, huh? Hope that's not the new normal.

[ ... ] I got approved for my jobs, so that's good. Now that I'm making some stable income, I thought I might look into moving. Are there any good places in Fayren?  Ah, and... I'll be composing freelance for a while. I don't know if anyone has any use for music, but it's an option now? Someone already asked to learn to compose themselves, so I guess I'm not opposed to teaching someone else... if you want.

[Okay, he needs to get to the actual point of this video:]

Also. I'm sorry for threatening to burn down this world and drop you all into hell. That was... extreme. And uncalled for.

Pretend it never happened. Thanks.

No. Just the body switching. [ And getting doused with water, but that felt more like a prank. That does remind him though.. ] I do have a stuffed shark now, if you know anyone who might want one.

Can your magic prevent other kinds of mischief?

Yes. Exactly a stuffed animal toy.

Initially the eggs just seemed to want to make jokes about my clothes.

[ ...Their stuffed toys can have a stuffed toy party while they figure out wtf to do with them. And cause no weird relationship-related drama. ]

Yes, a coma would be annoying. Do they tend to last long for you? Because otherwise, your magic does sound useful.

It doesn't bother me, but I don't exactly have any use for it.

Something resembling a coma, then. It sounds a little more convenient then, if it lets you recover your soul.

[ There's a pause. ]

...Then is there a way to make you unwillingly leave them?
childsized: (Welp what can I say?)

I've never thought about fashion. [ Well no, he's been wearing the same suit for over a hundred years. And Uai probably won't answer but: ] 'Yoshiko'?

Is a dream about Hana more real or worth being in than the version of Hana that's here, or any possibility of returning to whatever reality yours might be in? [ BLUNT JERK. ]

If there's no way to force you back out of those dreams, I suppose it's a moot point. You'll either wake up or you won't. But you've obviously done so so far.

You never know.

[Hey, if Uai realizes while in a coma that the dream isn't as good as waking up again, maybe it will help after all! YOU'RE WELCOME. But no really.]

If you haven't noticed anything that consistently helps, you probably will just have to try to avoid them.

[The punch card is really, really not a bad idea. This might eventually become reality.]

I'm surprised you didn't ask if living dolls sleep.

I do, by the way. But if I dream, I don't remember it.

Not a bad instinct.

That seems true of most things. At least I'll never have nightmares.

But I only need to rest my mind. My body's made of cloth. It doesn't get tired... And I heal quickly, when I need to.

Can your body get physically injured?

No, not even if I'm in pieces. And I've picked up enough sewing to repair my clothes if need be. I wasn't about to trust Dr. Fugue to sew even fabric.

That does sound like it would make you durable. Can you heal yourself by thinking it too, then?

So once you're calmer and less focused on thinking of being hurt.

[He's not interested in chasing that up, that's not the kind of suffering he's really interested in anyway.]

It's interesting that the ways we heal ourselves seem to be completely opposite, I suppose.
